On 27- 11- 24 a draft for £ 6 9s. was drawn on the Bank of Liverpool & Martin's by the Amsterdamsche Bank, Amsterdam, in favour of Bruno Stein. On the following day another draft on the same bank was drawn for £ 525 in favour of Rene Berr. The small draft was altered from £ 6 9s. to £ 525 and paid on 2- 12- 24 at the Liverpool Branch to the above described man, who endorsed it in the name of Rene Berr. The later draft was presented to the London Branch of the bank on the 5th December by the Rotterdam branch of the Amsterdamsche Bank and paid. Inf. to the C.
