Was employed as canvasser for photo frames, had about £ 48- worth of stock and £ 5 in cash from his employers, and absconded. Inf. to Supt, Walker, Ilkeston. 3.— Ilkeston ( Co.).— For stealing dwelling ( door insecure), 5th inst., gent's gold cased watch, glass broken, white face, black Roman numerals and pointers, chimes quarter hours, chimes out of order, far worn.— A Man, I), about 1903, 5ft. 7 or 8in., medium build, c. fair, clean shaven ; dress, grey suit, dk. grey overcoat, grey scarf, soft collar, black tie, trilby hat; carried an attache- case, and parcel wrapped in waterproof sheeting. Called at good class houses represented himself as principal of Southern Counties and General Supply Co., Southsea, obtained orders with payment for tea and soap, but failed to deliver the goods. Enquiry elicited the fact that he only rents a room at the address he gave at Southsea. Appears identical with W. Halls, Cases Nos. 86 and 90 current issue. Warrant issued. Inf. to Supt.
