YORKSHIRE ( WEST RIDING). 82 — Sheffield ( City).— Between 22nd and 24th inst., from shop.— Black coney seal coat, beaver coney roll collar, plain sleeves, fastens with 3 fur buttons, lined blue cotton brocade, 1 pocket inside the lining, has recently been re- modelled and relined ; natural musquash f- length coat, gauntlet cuffs, unlined ; grey squirrel fur necklet, head and tails attached, fastens with clip. ( id. by false pretences, 13th inst.— A Man, b. about 1892, 5ft. 6 or 7in., h. fair, clean shaven, very talkative and plausible ; dress, grey sports coat, grey trousers, lemon coloured woollen vest and socks, grey trilby hat, blue overcoat with belt at back, brown shoes, sometimes wears It. coloured raincoat and bowler hat with peacock feather in band ; carried brown leather case and was seen riding old black enamelled bicycle. Called on farmers and stated he was a representative of the Universal Stores, 10 to 24, London Road, Manchester ( false), obtained orders and received part payment for same, for which he gave receipt. Last seen, 17th inst., accompanied by A Woman ( not wanted), wearing brown fur coat and red silk hat. Appears identical with C. Cooper, Case No. 11, 11- 10- 22. Warrant issued. Inf. to Supt.
