IX Convicts on Licence, persons under Police Supervision and others whose apprehensions are sought for failing to comply with the reauirements of the Prevention of Crimes Act. ( L.), 21- 8- 22. ' Officer proving service of notice. Insp. Gullev, C. O. Pre. con. of carnal knowledge and larceny. Known to police at BRIGHTON, GLOUCES- TER, BIRMINGHAM. BURSLEM. WOLVER- HAMPTON and on K. For portrait, etc., see Case No. 98, Supplement A ( Vol. V.). Inf. to above office. Persons Licensed from C. R. O. 185.— For failing to comply with the conditions of his licence which has been revoked.— William Barrett, alias William Barlow, C. R. O. No. 17159- 16, a Borstal Institution. b. 1900, 5ft. 4in., c. fresh, h. brown, e. grey, scar 1. thumb. A spinner ; native of Farnworth. Sentenced at Salford Hundred Sess., 14- 4- 19, to 3 yrs. detention in a B. l. for larceny. Liberated on licence, 23- 8- 21, to the care of the Borstal Association. On discharge he returned home to work, but left without permission and joined the Army. He failed to keep the Association informed as to his whereabouts and they have now been informed that he has deserted. Pre. con. of larceny, shopbreaking and minor offences. Known to police at STRANGEWAYS, ECCLES and BOLTON ( Co.). If arrested a telegram or telephonic message should -- be sent to C. R. O., when arrangements will be made for an escort to fetch him. The licence will expire 13- 4- 23, after which date he must not on any account be arrested by the police. 2 POLICE GAZETTE SUPPLEMENT B. Friday, September 8, 1922. Parsons Licensed from a Borstal Institution— continued. C. R. O. C. R. O. No. 6764- 18, b. 1901, 5ft. 9in., c. fresh, h. It. brown, e. blue, scar forehead, bridge of nose, 186.— For failing to comply with the conditions 1st rt. and ] st 1. finger and palm of 1. hand. A watchmaker ; native of London. Sentenced at C. L. S., 14- 9- 20, to 3 yrs. detention in a B. I. for obtaining goods by false pretences. Liberated on licence, 12- 5- 22, to the care of the Borstal Association. Failed to report to the Association and is now lost sight of. Pre. con. of larceny and a minor offence. Known to police o'n G, P, R and Y. If arrested a telegram or telephonic message should be sent to C. R. O., when arrangements will be made for an escort to fetch him. The licence will expire 13- 9- 24, after which of his licence which has been revoked.— Victor date he must not on any account be arrested by Hugo Melhuish, alias Leslie Thomas Oliver, the police. Apprehensions. 187.— John Moore, C. R. O.
