DERBYSHIRE. 90.— Buxton ( Co.).— For stealing from a Hydro bedroom, 3rd inst.— Gent's half hunter rolled gold watch, Walt ham lever ; 15ct. albert , long and short links alternately ; silver penknife, with 2 blades ; gold pendant, oval shape, 3 flags in enamel on front, reverse side engraved Keep going ahead ; 15ct. bracelet, with additional twist of narrow gold outside, Chinese arid American gold dollars attached ; 9ct. curb bangle, padlock attached ; long gold chain, fine links, gold chain purse, l | in. by lin., and gold fish chain attached ; long link Ciro pearls, knotted ; small do. ; necklet of Bengal opals ; gold stud, single diamond ; pair earrings, Bengal opal, long oval shape, screw fasteners ; do., white ivory, stud pattern ; do. imitation pearls ; do. gold, long drop pattern ; 18et. ring, buckle, set with 2 small diamonds ; goid pin brooch, with officer's cap in gold in centre ; amber bead necklet, with irregular pieces amber attached ; charm, Egyptian mummy and jade bead on black silk ribbon ; jewel- case, black leather, yellow lining, about 9in. by 4in.-— James Robertson, aliases James Alexander Bertie, Andrew Stephenson and James Richardson, C. R. O. No. 3507- 99, Cases Nos. 58, Supplement A ( Vol. I.) and 213, Supplement B ( Vol. VIII.), b. 1842, 5ft. 7| in., c. fresh, h. grey, e. blue, moustache inclined to ginger, rather large nose, small scar centre forehead and back of neck ; dress, black jacket and vest, grey trousers, It. cap. A commission agent ; native of Liverpool. Pre. con. of larceny, fraud and minor offences at BIRMINGHAM, LIVERPOOL ( Robert James Barnes), HANLEY ( James Barton), SHEFFIELD, MAN- CHESTER ( Robert Carroll). WREXHAM ( James Carr), DUBLIN ( James O'Brien), LISCARD. BELFAST, HARROGATE, CONWAY, MAT- LOCK, OTLEY, BOURNEMOUTH ( James Robertson), BLACKPOOL ( James Brown) and HEXHAM ( Robson Brown). Stayed at the Hydro from 30th ult. to 3rd inst., arid decamped on latter date taking the above property with him. Warrant issued. Inf. to the Supt., Buxton. ESSEX. 91.— Southend- on- Sea ( Boro.).^— For stealing ( lodgings), 3rd inst., gent's gold cased watch, keyless, Roman figures ; gent's English lever watch, double silver case, gold hands, Roman figures ; lady's silver watch, large size, key wind, Roman figures, double case, engraved inside case, Presented to Sister Catherine ; gold brooch, oblong, mosaic setting ; silver brooch, oval, set grey polished stone ; and £ 13.— H. J. R. Williams, b. 1886, 5ft. 7in., stout build, c. fresh, h. It., e. blue, tooth missing front upper jaw, long nose, dimples i i cheeks ; dress, grey coat with black velvet collar, blue suit, raised square pattern, grey trilby hat or grey check cap, black patent shoes.— Don Macdonald, b. about 1896. Bit. 8 or 9in., slim build, dk., h. dk. ( wavy), e. brown, high cheekbones, hoarse voice ; dress, blue trench mackintosh, blue serge suit, grey trilby hat, black patent boots. Also obtained 5 sovereigns from loser by stating he could get 25s. each for same. Warrant issued. Inf. to the C. C., Southend- on- Sea. G LOUCESTERSHTRE . 92.— Cheltenham ( Co.).— Wilfred Grace Gold- smith, Case No. 7, 4- 11- 21, is identical with Wilfred Grace Goldsmith, C. R. O. No. 16496- 20, b. 1898, 5ft. 7- Jin., c. fresh, h. dk. brown, e. grey, scar 1. cheek. A chartered accountant ; native of Dublin. Pre. con. ol attempted fraud and fraud on railway at PETERBOROUGH. Warrant issued. Inf. to the Supt., Cheltenham. LANARKSHIRE. 93.— Glasgow ( City).— For failing to surrender to his bail. 31st ult., on a charge of embezzlement. — Edwin James Walshaw, b. 1864, 5ft. 9^ in., stout build, c. fresh, h. grey, e. blue. An accountant; native of Yorkshire. Inf. to the C. C., Glasgow. SURREY. 94.— Hersham ( Co.).— For failing to surrender to his bail, 29th ult., charged with being a suspected person— confidence trick— Case No. 9, 28- 10- 21.— George Wilson, alias Charles Sheppard, C. R. O. No. 533- 01, b. 1854, 5ft. lfin., c. fresh, h. black ( turning grey), e. brown, scar 1. of forehead, cut scar between 1. thumb and 1st finger, 2 scars centre 1. hand, nose inclined to rt. A groom ; native of Newcastle- on- Tyne. Pre. con. of larceny, attempted larceny and minor offences at LOUGH- BOROUGH ( George Wilson), YORK, STOCK- TON, PONTEFRACT ( George Smith), EDIN- BURGH ( George Bradv), LEICESTER ( Jack Clarke), GLASGOW ( Arthur Scott), DONCASTER, BIRMINGHAM ( William Scott), SALFORD ( George Brown), TARPORLEY ( John Wilson) and AYR ( William Burns). Frequents race- courses. Inf. to Supt. Galloway, Hersham. PERSONS IN CUSTODY WHO MAY BE WANTED ELSEWHERE. BERKSHIRE. 95.— Wokingham ( Co.).— Remanded till 8th inst., charged with attempting to obtain money by false pretences ( worthless cheque).— Ernest Wyndham Rainford, b. 1898, 5ft. 8in., c. fresh, h. It. brown, e. blue.
