SPECIAL NOTICE. PRISONERS UNDER REMAND. THE aid of the Metropolitan Police is frequently sought by other Police Forces to make inquiries re specting the antecedents of prisoners under remand, and such inquiries often result in identifying accused persons as being old offenders. The Editor would therefore suggest, in the interest of the Provincial Police Forces, that four clear days, at least, should be allowed in cases of the kind, to complete the inquiries asked for. 1 — D Division.— For stealing ( servant) £ 10, 7th inst.— WILLIAM BRADFORD, alias RUDMAN, age 36, height 5 ft. 8£ in., slight build, stoops, complexion pale, long thin face, hair brown, eyes grey, scar under left jaw, several blue dots left forearm, and hand has a habit of pulling lower lip; dress, mixture tweed jacket and vest, blue serge trousers, light tweed cap.
