No Description can be inserted Unless an Information shall have been Sworn; but it ia not i to forward the Informations to the Inspector- General. Notice* respecting all Felonies and such Misdemeanours as are of an aggravated nature will be inserted. All Descriptions of persons whose apprehension is sought on a charge of Misdemeanour should be accompanied by a statement that a Warrant hut been ia ami by the name of the person in whose hands it is. But the Constabulary should remember that th'ey cannot arrest a person charged with an offence of ths • Mure unless they have the Warrant in their possession when making the arrest. Should irregularities arise in the delivery of the Hue- and- Cry, it will be necessary to forward one of the covers, or gir « the number it bear*, a* without tfck feaformation the mistake cannot be rectified. Prison and Polios Authorities are particularly requested to be good enough to inform the Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary, Dublin Castle, of the abolition of Gaols, Stations, & c., and of any circumstances rendering the supply of the " Hue- and- Cry " no longer necessary. Apprehensions. APPREHENSIONS SOUGHT. ROYAL IRISH CONSTABULARY, Antrim. Particulars relative to convict JOHN PRICE, A. 857, convicted at Newry, county Down, at the Quar. ter Sessions, on 24th April, 1884, for larceny after previous conviction, and sentenced to 10 years' penal servitude, • 68 years of age on conviction, single, is a weaver; born at Tanderagee; brown hair turning gray, gray eyes, black eyebrows, prominent nose— was injured, medium mouth, sallow complexion, long worn visage, medium make, 5 feet inches high; woman pointing with right hand, two hearts pierced with arrow in wreath, and star on left forearm, XX, anchor, and James Trouton on right forearm, lost two last fingers and part- of right hand. This man was released from Mountjoy Prison, on licence, 13th July, 1893, and went to Belfast. He left the workhouse there on 16th ult., without reporting to Police, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under 34 and 35 Vic., cap. 112, sec. 5, as amended by Penal Servitude Act, 1891. 16th October, 1893. ( 576 H. C.) Description of WILLIAM GAULT, native of Ballinashee, county Antrim, who stands charged with having, on the 30th September, 1893, in the barony of Lower Toome, parish of Kirkinriola, owing to culpable negligence in driving his horse and car, knocked down and ran over Eliza Dale, inflicting injuries which places her life in imminent danger:— Gray eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, thin face, medium make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 19 years of age, fair hair ; wore ^ halt- worn gray cap and gray tweed suit; is a car driyer and labourer. Smart appearance and served in the militia. A warrant is in the hands ol District Inspector S. R. Carter, of Ballymena, for his arrest. Ballymena, 2nd Oct., 1893. ( 25056 17602.) WILLIAM HENRY ( escaping from custody), Hue- and- Cry, 1st September, not arrested. ( 24073c 15870). Man named GIRVAN or GREER ( obtaining money by false representations), described in issue of 1st September, not arrested. ( 23911 c.— 15611). PATRICK SCULLION, alias JORDAN ( firing at the person), described in Hue- and- Cry of 24th March, not arrested. ( 19619 c.— 7660.) Armagh. Particulars relative to convict JOHN MURRAY, otherwise MICHAEL MURRAY, otherwise PATRICK GLEESON, convicted at Loughrea, county Galway, at Quarter Sessions, on 6th June, 1885, for larceny and previous conviction, and sentenced to 7 years' penal servitude :— 42 years of age on conviction, single, is a painter ; born at Abbeyleix, no fixed place of residence before conviction ; light brown hair, hazel eyes, light brown eyebrows, large nose, regular mouth, fresh complexion, long visage, medium make, 5 feet 6 inches high; " Pat" on left arm, star on left breaBt, rose on right breast, varicose veins in legs, lost front upper teeth, bald on top of head. This man was released from Mountjoy Prison, loth September, 1893, on licence, and stated he was going to Newry. He has not since reported to Police, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under 34 and 35 Vic., cap. 112, sec. 5, as amended by Penal Servitude Act, 1891. 12th October, 1893. ( 25196 c.— 17822.) Description of JOHN PLUNKETT, native of 92, Phibsborough- road, Dublin, who stands charged with having, on the 16th day of July, 1893, at Armagh, in the barony of Armagh, parish of Armagh, obtained one sovereign by false pretences from Josiah Peel:— Rather awkward gait, turns out his toe3 when walking, left eye weak, may be wearing a bandage on it, small gray eyes, regular nose, dark sallow complexion, long face, medium make, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, about 40 years of age, black moustache and hair; wore a black hard hat, black coat, gray tweed trowsers, black vest; is a groom and stableman; is on' tramp through the country looking for employment. Description of TWO MEN, names and native places unknown, who stand charged with having, on the 19tb or 20th September, 1893, in the barony of Upper Loughtee, parish of Kilmore, stolen a cow, the pro- perty of George Cartwright, of Dromora Great:—.' 1. Slight moustache, sandy complexion, 6 feet high ; wore a cap ; supposed to be a tramp or cattle drover. 2. Dark complexion, stout make, 5 feet 8 inches high ; wore a bright coat and white muffler ; supposed to be a tramp or cattle drover. Cavan, 22nd Sept., 1893. ( 24871 c 17253.) MAN, wanted for rape, and descrfbed in issue of 3rd October, not arrested. ( 23807 a— 15436.) WILLIAM HEWITT ( stabbing), Hue- and- Cry, 1st September, not arrested. ( 19816 c.— 8064). THOMAS DUIGNAN ( homicide), Hue- and- Cry, 15th August, not arrested. ( 20286 o.— 8878). Cork. Description of a tramp, who gave his name as RICHARD WALSH, RICHARD BUTLER, and RICHARD BURK ( all of which are probably fictitious), native ot Cork Citv who stands charged, on remand, with having, on the 28th August, 1893, in the barony of Barrymore, parish of Carrigtwohill, broken open an alms box in the Roman Catholic Chapel at Carrigtwohill, and stolen therefrom the money which it contained;— Gray eyes, regular nose, florid complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 70 years of age, gray hair, wears all his beard, which is gray and cut short; wore a round soft hat, old gray tweed coat, brown tweed trowsers and vest. This man was arrested at Carrig- twohill, on 29th ult., when four " jacks " were found in his possession. He stated that he was a fisherman, and worked as such at Kinsale, Galway, and other places. He is probably a professional burglar, and may have committed crime elsewhere. Midleton, 4th October, 1893. ( 25083 c— 17649.) Description of JOSEPH AARONSON, native of Russia, who stands charged with having, on the 13th September, 1893, in the barony of Cork, parish of St. Ann's, Shandon, absconded, taking with him a quantity of watches and jewellery, value for £ 50, the propertv of his employers, The Standard Watch and Clock Company, 10, Bridge- street, Cork :— Blue eyes, regular nose, dark complexion, regular face, medium make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 23 years of age, dark hair; wore a dark coat, trowsers, and vest; is a travelling jeweller. Is a Jew, and may be accompanied by his brother, who has a cast in one eye, and mends clock s. Cork, North, 16th Sept., 1893. ( 24762 c.— 17058.) Clare. MICHAEL CLUNE ( house- breaking), Hrn- and- Cry, 2nd Sept., not arrested. ( 16138 c— 1869.) Down. Particulars relative to convict THOMAS EDWARDS, c. 79, convicted at Downpatrick, county Down, at the Quarter Sessions, on 5th October, 1886, for larceny and previous conviction for felony, and sentenced to 7 years' penal servitude :— 42 years of age on conviction, single, is a dealer; born at Cavan; no fixed place of residence before conviction ; brown hair turning gray, blue eyes, brown eyebrows, regular nose, medium mouth, ruddy complexion, oval visage, medium me. ke, 5 feet 7- k inches high; lost left arm from elbow, large cut scar centre of forehead and over left eyebrow. This man was released from Maryboro' Prison, 2nd October, 1893, on licence, and stated he was going to Downpatrick. He has not since reported to the Police, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under 34 and 35 Vic., cap. 112, sec, 5, as amended by Penal Servitude Act, 1891. 12th October, 1893. ( 575 ir. c.) * Dublin. JOSEPH DOREY ( escaped criminal lunatic), Hue- and- Cry, 30th May, not arrested. " » THE POLICE GAZETTE, OE HUE- AND- CEY, OCTOBER 1 7 , 1 8 9 3. Galway. Description of DENIS LANGAN, native of Gur raun, and MARTIN MORRISS, native of Island, who stand charged with having, on the 19th day of September, 1893, in the barony of Clane, parish of Lackagh, seriously assaulted Denis Gardner, thereby endangering his life :— 1. Dark gray eyes, short nose, sallow complexion, round face, very stout make, 5 feet high, about 24 or 25 years of age, dark hair ; wore a tweed cap, green gansey, tweed trowsers and vest; is a labourer ' 2. Gray eyes, cocked nose, fair complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 20 years of age, fair hair ; wore a whitish cap, dark coat, gray tweed trowsers, and dark vest; is a labourer. Warrants issued for their arrest. Tuam, 2nd October, 1893. ( 21552 C— 17573.) MICHAEL GEOGHEGAN ( embezzlement), Hue- and- Cry of 1st September, not arrested. ( 23319c.— 14537). Kerry. Description of MICHAEL KENNEDY, native of Limerick city, who is at present in custody charged with having, on the morning of 17th August, 1893, in the barony of Glanarought, parish of Kenmare, bur- glariously entered the house of John Downing, Pound- lane, Kenmare, and stolen therelrom the following articles of clothing, a cashmere skirt and woollen shawl, value £ 2 :— Has lost left hand from elbow, gray eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, thin worn face, slight make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 40 years of age, fair hair, shaves all his face except moustache; wore a gray tweed coat, trowsers, and vest much worn; is a tramp. This man is at present on remand at Tralee gaol. He may have committed similar offences elsewhere, or may have been previously con- victed. Any information respecting him to be sent to the District Inspector, Kenmare. Kenmare, 31st August, 1893. ( 24281 c,— 16191). PATRICK SHEA ( murder), described in Hue- and- Cry of 21st March, 1893, not arrested. ( 20169 c.— 8732.) Kildare. Particular* relative to convict JOHN FINNEGAN, c. 436, convicted at Wicklow, county Wicklow, at Winter Assizes, on 15th December, 1890, for larceny, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude, commuted to 3 years' penal servitude :— 60 years of age on conviction, married, is a drover, born in Kilcullen, county Kildare, resided before conviction in Mullingar, where his friends reside; gray hair, gray eyes, gray eyebrows, prominent nose, regular mouth, florid complexion, oval visage medium make, 5 feet inches high; cut on forehead, lost several upper front teetli, ulcer sores on legs. This man was released from Maryboro' Prison on licence, 6th March, 1893. He left Naas on 21st September, 1893, stating he was going to Ballyboggan Fair, and has not since reported to Police. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under 34 and 35 Vic., cap. 112, section 5, as amended by Penal Servitude Act, 1891. 12th October, 1891. ( 575 H. C.) MAN ( stealing a cow) described in issue of 3rd October, not arrested. ( 23998 c 15757). JOHN JOSEPH BROOKES ( stealing ass and cart), described in issue of 3rd October, not arrested. LAURENCE ARCHER ( attempted murder), Hue and- Cry, 21st March, 1893, not arrested. ( 19603 c.— 7584.) King's. Description of the undernamed Young Offender, who, on the 1st August, 1893, absconded from the Philipstown Reformatory School at King's County :-— JAMES CARTY, No. 1,615, 16 years of age, 4 feet 10 inches high, medium make, fresh complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, ordinary nose, regular mouth, oval visage; formerly belonged to Dublin; mother resides at 11, Ash- street, Dublin. v The School Dress, all with Reformatory Stamp, consists of:— Moleskin vest, dark gray tweed tiiajc, trowsers uncertain ( had taken off Reformatory tfw- sers), Glengarry cap, Blucber boots, No. 1,615. He is likely to go to Dublin. . The Manager of the Reformatory will defray the expenses of his conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice, on remand, and . will reward the person who „* nay capture him with £ 1. 3rd August, 1893. ( 567 H. C.) Description of the undernamed Young Offender, who, on the 24 th July, 1893, absconded from the Philipstown Reformatory School at King's County :— JOHN MURRAY, No. 1,538, 16 years of age, 4 feet 11 inches high, medium make, sallow complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, ordinary nose, regular mouth, oval visage ; formerly belonged to 5 Gloucester- place, North, Dublin; parents reside at same place; stepfather, Joseph Carpenter; abscess mark on right arm. The School Dress, all with Reformatory Stamp, consists of:— Moleskin trowsers and vest, dark tweed tunic, Glengarry cap, Blucher boots, No. 1,538. May hire for a time with a farmer, but is likely eventually to go to Dublin. The Manager of the Reformatory will defray the expenses of his conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice, on remand, and will reward the person who may capture him with £ 1. ( 566 H. C.) LAURENCE HICKEY ( robbery from a house), Hue- and- Cry, 21st March, 1893, not arrested. ( 2012 c.— 8615.) Limerick. Description of JOHN W. GLYNN, native place unknown, who stands charged with having, on the 7th September, 1893, in the barony of Coshlea, parish of Galbally, fraudulently obtained the sum of 8s. 6d. from Sergeant Kennedy and the constables at Gal- bally, by stating he would supply them with certain photographs which he failed to do:— Gray or blue eyes, thick nose, sandy complexion, red bloated face, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 35 years of age, fair hair turning gray; wore a black frock coat, gray trowsers, black vest; isaphotographer. This man has been arrested and remanded, and as it is believed he has committed several such frauds, information is requested by the District Inspector at Kilfinane regarding him. Description of KATE BURKE, native of Caher- norry, who, on 22nd July, 1893, in the barony of Clanwilliam, parish of Cahernorry, left her home, and has not since been heard of:— Dark eyes, thin nose, yellow complexion, rather thin face, slight make, 5 feet high, about 16 years of age, fair thin hair; wore a light plaid dress, red knitted shawl, elastic side boots ; is a servant. It is feared she may have met with foul play. Limerick, 31st August, 1893. ( 24447 c 16460). Description of JAMES O'DONNELL ( mothers surname Anderson), native of Kilmoylan, and TIMOTHY O'DONNELL ( mother's surname Whelan), native of Kilmoylan, who stand charged with having, on the 27th August, 1893, in thejbarony of Coonagh, parish of Doon, been concerned in the murder of John O'Connell:— 1. Believed to have a fresh cut- mark on forehead, leans forward when walking ; gray eyes, regular nose, very sallow complexion, thin face, slight active make, 5 feet 11 inches high, about 20 years of age, brown hair; wore a snuff- colour tweed cap, tweed coat, trowsers, and vest; is a labourer. 2. Down- looking appearance, small dark drooping moustache, slightly bow- legged; blue or gray eyes, regular nose, dark • sallow complexion, thin face, medium make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 25 or 26 years of age, dark hair; wore a black slouched hat, blue serge coat, bright tweed trowsers, and blue serge vest; is a labourer. WILLIAM FITZGERALD ( charged with murder,, Hue- and- Cry, 12th May, has not been arrested. ( 98360 c— 86735.) Longford.. Descriptions of a MAN and WOMAN, names and native places unknown, who stand charged. with having, on the night of the 14th or morning of 15th September, 1893, in the barony of Granard, parish of Granard, stolen thiee head of cattle, the property of Charles Mackin, of Ballykilchrist, and sold them at the fair of Oldcastle, county Meath :— 1. Good looking, well dressed, shaves all the face, except small brown moustache, fresh complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, about 22 years of age, brown hair ; wore a round black felt hat, dark tweed coat, brownish trowsers, send dark vest. 2. Tall, thin careworn face, pale sallow complexion, thin face, slight make, about 30 years of age; wore a remarkably red plaid shawl on head, old elnstic boots. Warrant issued and in the hand « of Police, Granard. Description of cattle:— 1. A white heifer, years old, yellow spots on neck, value for £ 4. 2. A spotted heifer, yellow and white, years old, value for £ 5. 1 r 3. A 1 i year old bullock, black colour, value for £ 5. Granard, 24th September, 1893. ( 24892 c 17* 91). Louth. A. J. RYAN ( obtaining food and lodging by false pretences), accompanied by another man and two women, described in issue of 3rd October, has not been arrested. ( 23850 c 4o509.) Meath. Particulars relative to convict ROBERT CAR- BERRY, c. 431, convicted at Wicklow, county Wicklow, at Leinster Winter Assizes, on 6th Decem- ber, 1890, for highway robbery, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude, commuted to 3 years' penal servitude :— 23 years of age on conviction, can read and write, is a member of the Church of Ireland, single, is a tailor, born at Belfast; no fixed place of residence before conviction, his friends reside at Dorm- street, Belfast; fair hair, gray eyes, fair eyebrows, medium nose, regular mouth, pale complexion, ovai visage, medium make, 5 feet 5| inches high , three cut- marks on top of head and one on right temple, three small moles right side of face. This man was released from Mountjoy Prison on licence, 6th March, 1893, he reported to Police at Trim, on 23rd August, 1893, that he was going to Navan, but he has not reported himself at the latter place, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under 34 and 35 Vic., cap. 112, sec. 5, as amended by Penal Servitude Act, 1891. 12th August, 1893. ( 575 H. C.) ( 23582 c 15038). JOHN MALOUGHNEY ( attempted rape), Hue- and Cry, 8th September, not arrested. ( 22940 c.— IS9 > 0.) Tyrone. Description of RICHARD CROZIER, native of county Armagh, who stands charged with having, on the 4th March, 1893, and several other dates to 9th September, 1893, in the barony of Middle Dungannon, parish of Clonfeacle, embezzled several sums of money, the property of his employers, R. and H. M'Kean :— Respectable appearance, dark heavy eyebrows, rather sulky looking, looks down when walking ; dark eyes, regular nose, dark complexion, regular face, stout make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 40 or 45 years of age, black hair turning gray; is a linen lapper. JAMES COFFEY ( sheep stealing), Hue- and- Cry, 8th September, not arrested. ( 2231 c— 12891.) Wicklow. Young Offender THOMAS PERRY, described in Hue- and- Cry, 30th May, not arrested. ( 543 H. C.) DUBLIN METROPOLITAN POLICE. G- Division. Particulars relative to convict DAVID HAMIL- TON, c. 297, convicted at Belfast, at Quarter Sessions, on 4th December, 1888, tor supplying false information to the Registrar of Deaths, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude, and 5 years' police supervision :— 34 years of age, single, is a blocker; born at Temple ® patrick, county Antrim; resided before conviction in Belfast where his friends reside; brown hair, gray eyes, brown eyebrows, small nose, large mouth, fresh complexion, oval visage, proportionate make, 5 feet 2 inches high; cut on top of head and near left eye, mole back of right hand, varicose veins in left leg, ruptured left side, getting bald. This man was released from Maryboro' Prison on licence, 5th October, 1892, and went to reside at Belfast. He left his residence on or about 20th ulto., without reporting to Royal Irish Constabulary, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under 34 & 35 Vic., cap. 112, sec. 5, as amended by Penal Servitude Act, 1891. 24tS August, 1893. ( 572 H. C.) Particulars relative to convict JAMES MAGUIRE, otherwise HUGH. PRIM, 695, convicted at Dublin, at Recorder's Court, on 26th November, 1886, for housebreaking, and sentenced to 7 ^ eafs'. penal servi- tude:— 50 years of age on conviction^ single, is a labourer; born at Dublin; resided before^ ebnviction at THE POLICE GAZETTE. OR HUE- AND- CRY, OCTOBER 1 7 , 1893. Dublin; gray hair, hazel eyes, sandy eyebrows, regular nose, large mouth, pale complexion, oval visage, medium make, 5 feet 5 inches high ; cut- marks on forehead, wart on chin, right side of nose, corner of right eye, and on right cheek. This man was released from Mountjoy Prison, on ad left on 14th July, for Bristol. He has not" repdRed himself at the latter, and his present • whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under 34 and 35 Vic., cap. 112 sec. 5, as amended by Penal Servitude Act, 1891. 21st August, 1893. ( 571 H. C.) Particulars relative to convict THOMAS LOVE, • C. 20, convicted at Enniskillen, county Fermanagh, at Quarter Sessions, on 18th November, 1885, for larceny — two cases— and previous conviction, and sentenced to 10 years' penal servitude :— 50 years of age, single, is a stonecutter, born in Drumcoolan, Enniskillen, resided before conviction in Enniskillen where his friends reside; dark brown hair turning gray, brown eyes, black eyebrows turning gray, large nose, small mouth, fresh complexion, oval visage, slight make, 5 feet 11J inches high ; right leg ulcerated at shin, bald on top of head. This man was released from Maryboro' Prison on licence, 23rd May, 1893. He recently left his residence, 14, Bride- street, Dublin, without notifying to the Police, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under 34 & 35 Vic., cap. 112, sec. 5, as amended by Penal Servitude Act, 1891. 8th June, 1893. ( 559 H. C.) The afternamed and described person is wanted here, under Sheriff's Warrant, for embezzlement of several sums of money, belonging to public boards in Banchory, to which he acted as clerk and treasurer. WILLIAM STEUART, Solicitor, aged about 32 years, native of Banchory, Kincardineshire, 5 feet 9 inches high, stout make, full ruddy tace, brown hair cut short, short side whiskers and brown moustache; dressed when last seen in black corded morning coat, light striped trowsers, light vest, reddish tartan tie, and light lacing boots. Accused was in practice in Banchory, and absconded on the 18th inst., and will likely go abroad. Please cause immediate and diligent search and enquiry to be made for accused at shipping offices and all likely places, and, if found, apprehend and wire to George Scott Caird, Esq., Procurator- Fiscal, Stone- haven, or to the subscriber, Chas. Description of an ass, the property of Patrick Kane, which was stolen from the lands of Rossmore, parish of Cloone, barony of Mohill, on the 29th day of September, 1893. A mare ass, bright gray colour, four years old, fully shod, hair stripped off tail by the cart, large hoofs, cracked between hair and hoofs, as if from ringbone; value for about £ 2. Description of an ass, the property of John Reilly, which was stolen from the lands of Cloonaugh, parish of Killoe, barony of Longford, on night of 9th or morning of 10th October, 1893:— A mare ass, dark brown colour mixed with gray, left breast bare under collar, partly stripped with girth, whitish face and belly ; two fore feet shod, hind feet bare ( about five weeks), 3 years old ; value for about £ 3. Description of articles, the property of Thomas Neville, which were stolen from his dwelling- house at Ballincollig, parish of Carrigrohane, barony of East Muskerry, on the 5th day of September, 1893 :— 1. A lady's gold Geneva watch, small size, white dial, name " Hilser " on case, number unknown ; value for £ 4. 2. A heart- shaped gold brooch, small size; value for £ 1 18*. 3. A gold locket, with black silk guard attached; value for 10*. 4. An imitation gold locket; value for 2s. 5. A brown leather clasped purse, containing four or five bank orders and some other papers; value for £ 4 10s.; and of no use to anyone but owner. Ballincollig, 8th September, 1893. ( 24611 c.— 16769.) Description of articles the property of Thomas Sullivan, which were burglariously stolen from his dwelling- house at Bealad East, parish of Kilkerrin- more, barony of Ibane and Barryroe, on the night of 1st or morning of 2nd September, 1893;— One suit of brown tweed, plaid pattern, nearly new ; one American gilt clock, horseshoe shape ; three coloured flannelette shirts; £ 2 18*. in cash, as follows— 2 one pound notes, half sovereign, and eight shillings in silver. A tramp of the following description is very strongly suspected, name and native place unknown, represents himself as a tailor, active military appearance, small brown eyes, regular nose, fresh com- plexion, round face, prominent cheek bones, slight make, 5 feet 7 inches high, and about 30 years of age, shaves all his face except moustache which is fair, had a week's growth of beard on; wore a hard felt hat, black cloth coat, sack make, light brown trowsers and vest. Description of an ass, cart, and harness, the property of Michael Curtis, of Rathdrinagh, which were stolen from the lands of Rathdrinagh, parish of Knock- common, barony of Lower Duleek, on the 26th or 27th day of September, 1893 :— A large mare ass, brown colour, shod on four feet, large hoofs, a slight lump above nostrils; value for about £ 3. A red painted cart, wheels not exactly fellows, side boards with another board across for a seat, sheetings at right angles to the wheels, " Ml. Curtis, Rath- drinagh," painted on a piece of tin, attached to shaft; value for about £ 3.
