No Description can be inserted unless an Information shall have been Sworn; bat it is not necessary to fcrward the Informations to the Inspector- General. Notices respecting all Felonies and such Misdemeanours as are of an aggravated nature will be inserted. All Descriptions of persons whose apprehension is sought on a charge of Misdemeanour should be accompanied by a statement that a Warrant has been mmmtg ' by the name of the person in whose hands it is. The school dress consists of:— Moleskin jacket, trowsers, and vest, Glengarry cap, blue and white stripe ehirt, red and black check tie, Blucher boots, and woollen stockings. HUGH BELL, 18 years of age, brown hair, brown eyes, brown eyebrows, regular nose, large mouth, fresh complexion, oval visage, stout make, 5 feet 2 inches high, is a farm labourer, born at Clifton- street, Belfast, formerly belonged to Clifton- street, Belfast, parents reside at 55, Mountjoy- street, Bel- fast; chicken chested, scrolnla marks on neck, large swollen glands. DE COBAIN, native of Belfast, who stands charged that he did, within the past two years, at Belfast, commit an act of gross indecency with another male person, and within the ( 478 h. Description of SARAH CAROLAN ( mother's sur- name Connelly), native of Lisnalee, who, on the 16th July, 1892, in the barony of Clonkee, parish of Bailie- boro', strayed from ber home and may have met with foul play:— Is of weak mind, dark eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet high, about 58 years of age, dark hair, turning gray; wore a slate- coloured bonnet, black shawl, brown dress, elastic boots, and carried an umbrella; is a farmer's wife. Description of MART FOLEY, alias MARGARET DOHERTY, native of Lismore, county Waterford, wbo stands charged with having, en the 12th July, 1892. in tbe barony of Barrymore, parish of Carrig- twohill, converted to her own use the sum of £ 5, which was given to her by her mistress, Miss Fitzgerald, of Ballintubrid, to be delivered to anotrer person;— Very small feet; blue eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, red fitt face, stout make, 5 feet 4 inches high, about 20 years of age, light brown wavy hair; wore a pink blouse, dark shawl, whitish apron, no head dress; is a domestic servant. Description of JAMES BEATTY, native of Fermoy. who stands charged with having, on the 27th May, 1898, in the barony of Fermoy, parv> h of Mallow, stolen a horse, the property of Edward Fitzgibbon — Good- looking, smart military appearance, speaks with English accent, shaves all face exoept small side whiskers; gray eyes, slightly hooked nose, fresh com- plexion, long face, medium make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 30 years of age, brown hair; wore a black hat, dark pilot coat, light tweed trowsers, black vest, and brown leather leggings; is a groom. Warrant issued, and in hands of District Inspector at Mallow. Mallow, 1st Juns, 1892, ( 16002 1470.) Description of DANIEL CONNELL ( mother's surname Touhy), native of Cloughoolia, who stands charged with having, on the 19th day ot May, 1898, in the barony of Fermoy, parish of Monaniny, attempted to commit a rape on Catherine Healy, a child under 13 years of age;— Walks with a swagger, has an impediment in his speech, and was in America for some time; dark brown eyes, regular nose, ruddy complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 28 years of age, black hair; wore a light brown hat, black coat, brown tweed trowsers and vest; is a farmer's son. Particulars relative to Convict PATRICK GIL- CHRIST, C 876, convicted at Naas, county Kildare, at Assises, on 5th March, 1890, for larceny, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitdue, reduced to 3 years:— 28 years of age on conviction, single, is a tailor, born in Dublin, no fixed residence, his friend* reside in Dublin; liglt brown hair, gray eyes, light brown eyebrows, medium nose, regular mouth, fresh complexion, oval visage, medium make, 5 feet 1 inch high; abscess- mark on left cheek, cut- mark on first and second left fingers, cut- mark on right wrist. This man was released from Mountjoy Prison on licence, 30th May, 1892. He left Delgany, county Wicklow, on 1st instant, without reporting to the police, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with nnder sec. 5 of the Act 34 and 35 Vic., cap. 112, as amended by Penal Servitude Act, 1891. ( 480 H. C.) Description of THOMAS LYNCH ( mother's surname Regan), native of Cloonfower, who stands charged with having, on the morning of the 11th of April, 1892, in the barony of Ballintubber North, parish of Tarmonbarry, who unlawfully attacked the dwellinghouse of Patrick Sheeran, of cloonofwer :— Brown eyes, thin sharp nose, fresh complexion, long thin face, slight make, 5 feet 10 or 11 inches high, about 22 jears of age, brown hair ; were a hard felt hat, tweed coat, trowsers, and vest, gray colour; is a labourer. Description of RICHARD MACKEY, native of Shanbally Edmond, and JOHN HAYES, native of Ballyclare, who stand charged with having, oi the 14th July, 1892, at Knooknamohoragh, in the barony of Owney and Arra, parish of Kilnerath, seriously assaulted Michael English, of Bunkimaltha, by strik- ing him on the head with a loaded whip and a stick, thereby placing his life in danger:— 1. Dark eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, broad face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 4t years of age, fair hair; Wore a soft hat, frieze coat, tweed trowsers and vest; is a farmer. 2. Blue eyes, hooked nose, fair complexion, long face, medium make, 6 fett 9 inches high, about 30 years of age, sandy hair; wore a frieze coat, tweed trowsers and vest; is a farmer; walks with a stoop. Description of PATRICK MURPHY ( mother's surname Moran, native of Birr, King's County), Dative of Ballycapple, Cloughjordan, who stands charged with having, on the 17th March, 1892, at Bantis, in the barony . of Uoper Ormond, parish of Ballygibbon, committed a rape on Ellen Guilfoyle, aged 75 years:— Round shoulders, shaves all his face except small side whiskers which are sandy, gray eyes, rather flat nose, fresltaomplexion, broad face, stout make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 32 years of age, brown hair; wore a slouched black hat, blue tweed coat, trowsers, and vest,; is a farmer's sonj will likely endeavour to emigrate. Description of RICHARD ENGLISH ( mother's surname Carey), native of Carrowkeale, who stands charged with having, on the 23rd of Jaly, 1886, in the barony of Kilnamanagh Lower, parish of Donohill, seriously assaulted one James Gleeson, by striking him with a stone, from the effects of which he died after- wards :— Cut- mark on back of head, high cheek bones, brown moustache and side whiskers as far down as ears, long neck, gray eyes, long nose, fresh complexion, thin face, active make, 5 feet. 10 inches high, abont 25 or 26 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a soft felt hat, gray tweed coat, trowsers, and vest; is a labourer. ( 15782 c. — 1O03.\ Description of JEREMIAH FINEGAN, alias WALTER FERGUSON, native of Stradone, county Cavan, who has been returned for trial on the charge of having, on the night of 29th or morning of 30th April, 1892, in the barony of West Omagh, parish of Skirts of Urney, broken into the Manse in connection with the fc2nd Castlederg Presbyterian Church, and stolen therefrom 26 keys and a piece of marble Has a good address and appears to have got a good education; blue eyes, straight nose, fair complexion, regular face, medium make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, about 50 years of age, sandy hair turning gray; wore a brown tweed cap, old drab coat, dark tweed trowsers, and black vest; is a tramp. Description of ANDREW BOTTS ( mother's surname Kavanagh), native of Enniskerry, who stands charged with having, on tbe 21st May, 1892, in the barony of Rathdown, parish of Powerscourt, com- mitted a burglary in a dwelling- house belonging to Mr. Francis Buckley, Hotelkeeper, Enniskerry; Botts was bailed to take his trial at Wicklow Quarter Sessions on 16th June, 1892, but failed to surrender to his recognizance :— Small dark gray eyes, regular now, sallow complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, about 35 ot 40 yearn of age, dark hair-} wears all his beard which is dark, shaves upper lip; wore a dark frook coat, dark tweed trowsers and vest; may be found wearing moleskin trowsers, dark coat and vest, and Shoes without nails ; is a labourer ; is suspected of being either in Dublin or Liverpool. Warrant for his arrest lies with Sergeant Hughes, Enniskerry. Bray, 18th June, 189? ( 16097 c.— 2109.) Description of JAMES WELLS, supposed a native of England, who stands charged with having, on divers occasions daring the month of May, 1892, in the baropy cf Rathdown, parish of Bray, county Dublin, unlawfully by fraud and false pretences obtained money and goods amounting to £ 3 14*. 6d. from Isaac Epstein, with intent to defraud:— slight limp when walking, speaks with an English accent, smart appear- ance ; gray or blue eyes, regular nose, regular face, medium make, 5 feet 11 inches high, about 30 years of age, light- coloured hair; wore a brown felt hat, blue cloth jacket, moleskin trowsers, blue striped vest, white muffler, or tie, and new laced boots; is a navvy, generally at public works. Description of JOHN WILSON ( mother's surname not known, but resides at No. 8, South King- street, Dublin), native of Glasgow, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 15th May, 1892, in the barony of Newcastle, parish of Kilcoole, being con- cealed in Bromley Demesne, under circumstances denoting that he was there for the purpose of committing a felony, and unable to give a good account of himself, lodging in the open air, and without any visible means of subsistence, and escaping from custody of police :— Blue or gray eyes, pale complexion, regular face, stout make, 5 feet 5 inches high, abont 35 years of age; wore an old dark hard hat, long dark ooat, light trowsers.
