All Notices intended for insertion in the Hue- and- Ory are to be transmitted under cover, addressed to the ^ Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary, Dublin Castle, authenticated by a Separate Communication. No Description can be inserted unless an Information shall have been Sworn; but it is not necessary to forward the Informations to the Inspector- General. Notices respecting all Felonies and such Misdemeanours as are of an aggravated nature will be inserted. All Descriptions of persons who, J a prehension is sought on a charge of Misdemeanour should be accompanied by a statement that a Warrant has been issu^ Mad by the name of the person in' whose hands it is. But the Constabulary should remember that they cannot arrest a person charged with an offence of this • stare unless they have the Warrant in their possession when making the arrest. , %* Should irregularities arise in the delivery of the Hue- and- Cry, it will bp necessary to forward one of the oovers, or give the number it bears, as without this ^ formation the mistake cannot be rectified. • Prison and Police Authorities are particularly requested to be good enough to inform the Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary, Dublin Castle of the Volition of Gaols, Stations, < kc., and of any circumstances rendering the supply of the " Huerand- Cry " no longer necessary. Description ol tbe two undernamed yonng offenders, who, on tbe 9th June, 1892, absconded from the Malone Reformatory School at Belfast:— JOHN BALIE, 19 years of age, dark hair, dark brown syec, dark brown eyebrows, regular nose, regular mouth, fresh con p'exion, oval visage, stout make, 5 feet 3 inches high, is a farm labourer, born at Bangor, county Down, formerly belonged to Bangor, connty Down, parents reside at 1, Church- street, Bangor; scar on top of head, chicken chested, scar above right eyebrow. The school drees consists of:— Moleskin jacket, trowsers, and vest, Glengarry cap, bine and white stripe shirt, red and black check tie, Blucher boots, and woollen stockings. HUGH BELL, 18 years of age, brown hair, brown eyes, brown eyebrows, regular nose, large month, fresh complexion, oval visage, stout make, 6 feet 2 inches higb, is a farm labourer, born at Clifton- street, Belfast, formerly belonged to Clifton- street, Belfast, parents reside at 55, Mountjoy- street, Bel- fast ; chicken chested, scrofula marks on neck, large swollen glands. The school drees consists of:— Moleskin jacket, trowsers, and vest, Glengarry cap, blue and white stripe shirt, red and black check tie, Blucher boots, and woollen stockings. The Manager of tbe Reformatory will defray the expenses of their conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice on ren and, and will reward the person who may capture them with £ 1 for each boy. Description of ISAAC MILLER, native of Russia, who stards charged with having, within the past six months, in tbe barony of O'Neiland East, parish of Shark ill, embezzled certain snms of money received by him for his employer:— Dark eyes, broad pro- r. inert ncse, dark complexion, round face, stont make, 5 feet 2 inches high, about twenty years of ege, dark hair; wore a low jerry het, blsck jacket coat, dark trowsers and vest; is a pedlar, and has a certificate ; speaks English badly. DE COBAIN, ustive of Belfast, who stands charged that he did, within the past two years, at Belfast, commit an act of gross indecency with another male person, and within the same time, and at the place aforesaid did incite divers other male persons to commit sodomy:— Walks erect, square shoulders, corpulent, contracts eyebrows when speaking, gray eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, full face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 48 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a sift hat, black Chesterfield overcoat, black frock coat, dark trowsers, » nd dark vest. Description of MICHAEL CLUNE, native Tnllybrack, who stands charged with having, on the 4th June, 1892, in tbe baron v of Moyarta, parish of Kilrush, broken into the house of Bridget Walsh, at Ballykelt, for the purpose of committing a burgluy:— Dark- gray eyes, ordinary nose, sallow complexion, broad face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 28 years of age, brown hair: wore a white soft bat, dark tweed sack coat, gray trowsers, dark tweed vest; is a labourer. Description of JAMES BEATTY, native of Fermoy, who stands charged with having, on the 27th May, 1892, in the barony of Fermoy, parkh of Mallow, stolen a horse, the property of Edward Fitzgibbon:— Good- looking, smart military appearance, speaks with English accent, shaves all face except small side whis> ers; gray eyes, slightly hooked nose, fresh com- plexion, long face, medium make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 30 years of age, brown hair; wore a black hat, dark pilot coat, light tweed trowsers, black vest, and brown leather leggings; is a groom. Cork Description of MARY FOLEY, alias MARGARET DOHERTY, native of Lismore, county Waterford, who stands charged with having, on the 12th July, 1892, in the barony of Barrymore, parish of Carrig- twohill, converted to her Own use the sum of £ 5, which was given to-* fcer by her mistress, Miss Fitzgerald, of Ballintubrid, to be delivered to another person;— Very small feet; blue eyes, regular nose, tresb complexion, red lat face, stout make, 5 feet 4 inches high, about 20 years of age, light brown wavy hair ; wore a pink blouse, dark shawl, whitish apron, no bead dress ; is a domestic servant. Description of DANIEL CONNELL ( mother's snrname Touhy), native of Cloughoolia, who stands charged with having, on the 19th day of May, 1892, in the barony of Fermoy, parish of Monaniny, attempted to commit a rape on Catherine Healy, a child under 13 years of age;— Walks with a swagger, has an impediment in his speech, and was in America for some time; dark brown eyes, regular nose, ruddy complexion, round face, medinm make, 5 feet 7 inches higb, abont 28 years of age, black hair; wore a light brown hat, black coat, brown tweed trowsers and vest; is a farmer's son. Description of PATRICK MURPHY ( mother's surname Moran, native of Birr, King's County), native of Ballycapple, Cloughjordan, who stands charged with having, on the 17th March, 1892, at Bantis, in the baronv of Uooer Ormond, parish of Ballygibbon, committed a rape on Ellen Guilfoyle, aged 75 years:— Round shoulders, shaves all his face except small side whiskers which are sandy, gray eyes, rather flat noee, fresh complexion, broad face, stoat make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 32 years of age, brown hair; wore a slouched black hat, blue tweed coat, trowsers, and vest, ; is a farmer's son; will likely endeavour to emigrate. Description of RICHARD ENGLISH ( mother's surname Carey), native of Carrowkeale, who stands charged with having, on the 23rd of Jaly, 1886, in the barony of Kilnamanagh Lower, parish of Donohill, seriously assaulted one James Gleeson, by striking him with a stone, from the effects of which he died after- wards :— Cut- mark on back of head, high cheek bones, brown moustache and side whiskers as far down as ears, long neck, gray eyes, long nose, fresh complexion, thin face, active make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 25 or 26 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a soft felt hat, gray tweed coat, trowsers, and vest; is a labourer. Description, of KATE WHITE ( mother's surname Margaret white), native of Dromore, who stands charged with having, on the Uth day of May, 1892, in the barony of East Omagh, parish of Dromore, ooncealed the birth of her temale infant, and by neglect and exposure caused its death:— Brown eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, thin face, medium make, 5 feet high, about 25 years of age, black hair; wore a black hat, dark dress, and black jacket; is a servant. Description of ANDREW BOTTS ( mother's surname Kavanagh), native of Enniskerry, who stands charged with having, on the 21st May, 1892, in the barony of Rathdown, parish of Powerscourt, com- mitted a burglary in a dwelling- house belonging to Mr. Francis Buckley, Hotelkeeper, Enniskerry ; Botts was bailed to take his trial at Wicklow Quarter Sessions on 16th June, 1892, but failed to surrender to his recognizance :— Small dark gray eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, about 35 or 40 year* of age, dark hair ; wears all hij beard which is dark, shaves upper lip; wore a dark frock coat, dark tweed trowsers and vest; may be found wearing moleskin trowsers, dark coat and vest, and shoes without nails ; is a labourer ; is suspected of being either in Dnblin or Liverpool. Description of JAMES WELLS, supposed a native of England, who stands charged with having, on divers occasions during the month of May, 1892, in the barony of Rathdown, parish of Bray, county Dublin, unlawfully by fraud and false pretences obtained money and goods amounting to £ 3 14s. 6d from Isaac Epstein, with intent to defraud:— slight limp when walking, speaks with an English accent, smart appear- ance ; gray or blue eyes, regular nose, regular face, medium make, 5 feet 11 inches high, about 80 years of age, light- coloured hair; wore a brown felt hat, blue cloth jacket, moleskin trowsers, blue striped vest, white muffler, or tie, and new laced boots; is a navvy, generally at pub ic works. Description of JOHN WILSON ( mother's surname not known, but resides at No. 8, South King- street, Dublin), native of Glasgow, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 15th May, 1892, in the barony of Newcastle, parish of Kilcoole, being con- cealed in Bromley Demesne, under circumstances denoting that he was there for the purpose of committing a felony, and unable to give a good account of himself, lodging in the open air, and without any visible means of subsistence, and escaping from custody of police:— Blue or gray eyes, pale complexion, regular face, stout make, 5 feet 5 inches high, abont 85 years of age; wore an old dark hard hat, long dark coat, light trowsers. Yorkshire, Description of FRANK MARTIN, native of Bath, who stands charged with stealing 600 dollars in American paper notes, and £ 130 in money, on the 16th instant:— 22 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches higb, dark complexion, black hair ( clean shaved), dark eyes, narrow forehead; wore a black billycock bat, and black rough serge jacket suit; may endeavour to leave the country. Description of ass,. the property of Edmond Doherty. which wss stolen from the lands of Longorchard, parish of Templetuohy, barony of Ikerrin, on the night of the 4th or morning of the 5th July, 1892 ; supposed by travelling tinkers:— A dark gray mare ass, whitish legs and breast, in good condition, newly shod, about 15 years of age, and value for £ 2 10s. Description of an ass, the property of Patrick Kir- win, which was stolen from the lands of Penane, parish of Loughmore, barony of Eliogarty, on the night of 4th or morning of 5ih July, 1892:— A geld- ing ass, shod, whiteish gray colour, long tail, bas two black spots on throat, mark on back of one of its ears, supposed to be the bite of a dog, seven years old, strong and lively, and value for £ 3 10s.; supposed to have been stolen by travelling tinkers. Westmeath Description of a heifer, the property of Rosanna Downs, of Kilfoylan, King's County, which was stolen off the lands of Garrycastle, parish of St. Mary's, barony of Brawney, on the 22nd day of June, 1892 :— A well- grown heifer, in good condition, dark straw- berry colour, horns short, and projectad forwards, with fharp points turned downwards. Stolen, on Monday. l « th init.. a gray gelding, almost white, aged," Woodbridgeheight 15- 2 ; a set of brass mounted wheel tandem harness, and a dog- cart, painted green, picked out with black: moveable body and back rest; rail of seat covered with leather; varnish at back of cart blistered; name A. Dupont on caps of wheels t near cap scratched and damaged; light knee apron ; whip stamped " A. Dupont." By a man who gave his name F. J. Morris, Devon- shire Hotel, Brighton, which is false Age about 35 or 40 years, height about 5 feet 2 inches, fair sallow complexion, fair moustache and small side whiskers, medium build, was wearing a pair of eye- glasses, and appeared to be rather deaf; wore a light brown Oxford hat, dark band and rim, light drab covert coat, light tweed trowsers, and had a blue cloth overcoat, velvet collar, with him.' Description of articles, supposed to have been stolen, which were found on Frederick Anderson when arrested in Dublin, and who is at present awaiting trial on a charge ot larceny of watches at Kilcock Races on 13th June, 1892. The prisoner was at last Tramore Races. He is a well- known English pickpocket :— 1. Silver double- cosed Geneva lever watch, ohro- nometer balance, push- spring gone, No. 146,698, a steel curb chain attached. 2 A patent silver lever watch, nearly new, maker G. M'Cullagh, Thurles, No. 63,522. 3. Gold spade- guinea of reign George III, date 1787, with a small hole in it. 4. A pair of silver mounted spectacles, scissors, latch- key, two small silver Indian coins, a small American silver coin. Robertstown, 16th July, 1892. ( 170D7 c— 3180.) Description of two watches and chains found in the possession of one John Kelly, a labourer, at present awaiting trial at tbe coming Summer Assizes, to be held at Tullamore, on a charge of burglary, committed in tbe town of Parsonstown. Other property found on Kelly has been identified as stolen by several persons. No. 1— A silver Geneva watch, No. 7732, with sil- ver chain attached. Na 2— A hunting- case silver Geneva watch, No. 56228, with chain 15- carat gold attached, with the letters W. H. A. on the bar. Information to be sent to District Inspector, R. I.
