Particulars of CHARLES BOUND, of Lord- street, Liverpool, who was convicted on 1st March, of having, on 20th October, 1891, obtained, by false pretences, a sum of money from Edward Hurst, pro- vision dealer, Parsonttown, and sentenced to 18 montls' imprisonment, as it is believed he has also defrauded numbers of traders throughout the country, it is requested that the Police will cause the necessary inquiries to be made amongst small dealers in earther- ware and others. He represented himself to ba a commission a tent for various pottery firms ia England, and also traded as the " Staffordshire Earthenware and Hardware Company '' a firm which exists in name only, and on receipt of money fails to forward the goods. In some instances where the orders were for small amounts, he forwarded the goods for the purpose, presumably, of getting larger orders. Description of a bov, who gave his name as JAMES ROUNDTREE, of Upper Parish, Kilinkere, county Cavan, who stands charged with having-, on tbe 18th day of March, 1892, in the barony of Fore, parish of Oldcastle, stolen a bullock, the property of Thomas Glennon, off his ( Glennon's) lands at Fennor Upper, tnd sold same at Oldcastle Fair on same date:— Sallow complexion, long face, slight make, 5 feet 4 inches high, about 17 years of age, fair hair; wore a tweed cap, long dark torn coat, corduroy trowsers, big old boots. Description of G. B. MYERS alias W. BARON, native ot London, and A MAN unknown, supposad native of London, who stand charged with having, on the 5th February, 1892, in the barony of Maryborough East, parish of Borris, obtained by false pretences a sum of £ 4 1*. from Mr. R. J. Henderson, provision dealer, Maryborough, representing themselves ss sell- ing Stramonium Cigarettes, and appointing agents for the firm, B. Myers, Stramonium Cigarette Manufac- turers, 3A, Shandy- street, Mile End- road, London, S., which only exists in name. The London Police have received several complaints. They are travelling from town to town, and have committed several frauds. The cigarettes are of no value:— 1. Long hands and fingers, full mouth, sandy moustache, speaks with an English accent; regular nose, fresh complexion, round face, stout make, about 5 feet 8 inches high, about 30 years of age, sandy or fair hair; wore a hard low hat, Melton top coat with velvet collar, and light trowsers; represents himself as a traveller. 2. Jewish appearance, slight dark moustache, dark brown eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, round face, stout make, about 5 feet 5 inches high, about 30 years of age, dark hair; wore a dark coat, trowsers, and vest; represents himself as a traveller. Those men take orders, deliver goods, appoint agents at gen- erally 10*. 6d. per month, undertaking to take back goods unsold, and on these grounds get orders and receive money. Sligo. ROBERT SLEATOR ( stealing a gate), Hue- and- Cry, 19th January, not arrested. ( 12278 c.— 94846.) Tipperary. Description of PATRICK REARDON, and JAMES REARDON, natives of Gurteendevane, who stand charged with having, on the 16th March, 1892, at Ballyhane, in the barony of Kilnamanagh Upper, parish of Toem, seriously assaulted George Reardon, by striking bim on the bead with stoner, fracturing his strull and placing his life in danger:— 1. Very good looking, never shaved, no beard or whiskers s gray eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, round face, slight make, 5 feet 11 iicleshigb, about 22 or 23 years of age, fair hair; wore a bright tweed cap, dark seree coat, bright tweed trowsers, and tweed vest; is a tailor. 2. Very gocd looking, never shaved, no beard or whiskers; gray eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, regular face, stout make, 6 feet high, about 21 j ears of age, fair hair; wore a bright tweed cap, bright tweed coat, brown tweed trowsers, and tweed vest; is a farm labourer; is brother to No. 1. Description of JOHN MAHONY, alias BILL WALLACE, alias THOMAS WALSH, native of Limerick city ( doubtfal), who has been arrested on the 19th Marcb, 1892, in the barony of Slievedaragh, parish of Carrick, and remanded on the charge of being a deserter from the army and failing to give a satisfactory account of himself, and it is believed he may have committed crime elsewhere:— Small scar on each eyebrow, blue eyes, slightly hooked nose, fresh complexion, oval face, stout make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 24 years of age, brown ha'r; wore a soft hat, brown tweed I coat, corduroy trowsers, and old tweed vest, which was covered by a blue jersey, wore mili- tary stockings; is a labourer; stated he was a mason, and that he bad been trained with the Tipperary Militia in January last. Police will please communi- cate anything known about him without delay. He speaks with a Cork accent.' Carrick- on- Suir, 2( Jth March, 1892. ( 14583 c.— 93890.) Description of a MAN, name and native place nn- known, who stands charged with having, on the 12th Marcb, 1892, in the barony of Clanwilliam, parish of Clonbeg, unlawfully entered the dwelling- house of Michael Halloran, Ballycrana, and stolen therefrom a coat, razor, and a scarf, all valui for £ 1 7s. 6d., and 4s. in cash:— Wild looking, dark complexion, round face, stout make, 5 fest 6 or 7 inches high, about 30 years of age; wore a cap, gray tweed coat, trowsers, and vest; bad the appearance of an Army Reserve man. Description of THOMAS KIELLY, native of Cutteen, who stands charged with having, on the 7th March, 1892, in tbe barony of Clanwilliam, parish of Solohedbeg, unlawfully assaulted one Morgan Ryan, at Newtown, thereby placing his life in danger:— Brown eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet 11 inches high, about 27 or 28 years of age, brown hair tinged with gray; wore a dark tweed coat, trowsers, and vest; is a farmer's son. Description of JOHN BUTLER, native of Bally- philip, who stands charged with having, on the 27th December, 1891, in the barony of Clanwilliam, parish of Solohead, seriously assaulted Margaret Glasheen :— Quiek manner of speaking; blue eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, regular thin face, slight make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 47 years of age, dark hair, turning gray; wore a dark ooat, twee! trowsers and vest. Description of RICHARD A. BILLINGHAM. native of Monmouth, England, who stands charged with having, on the 29th February, 1892, in the barony of Waterford Borough, parish of St. John's Within, embezzled the sum of £ 26 12*. 6rf„ the property of the Great Western Railway Company of England:—. Birth- mark on face near noie gray eyes, thin nose, sallow complexion, thin face, slight make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 32 years of age, light brown hair; wore a brown hat, dark blue top coat, gray trowsers and vest,; is a clerk. Particulars relative to Convict OWEN KEATING, 0 144, convicted at Dublin City Sessions, on 28th Marcb, 1887, for housebreaking, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude:— 84 years of age on con- viction, married, is a tailor, born at Dhblin, where he resided before conviction; his friends reside at Kil- kenny :—. Dark brown hair turning gray, hazel eyes, brown eyebrows, medium nose, small mouth, fresh complexion, oval visage, strut make, 5 feet inches big i; cut- mark on upper lip and at corner of right eye, two cut- marks on right wrist. This man was released on licence from Maryboro' Prison, on 4th March, 1891, and went to reside at Kilkenny. He left Londonderry ( where he had been serving in the Militta) on 2nd ulto. for Belfast, but he has not reported himself at the latter place, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under sec. 5 of the Act 84 and 85 Vic., cap. 112. 14th March, 1898. ( 464 H. C.) Particulars relative to Convict JOHN JAMES MORIARTY, c 75, convicted at the Dublin Com- mission Court, on 10th August, 1886, for embezzle- ment, and sentenced to 7 years' penal servitude:— 28 years of age on conviction, single, is a bank clerk, born at Dnblin, resided at Dublin before conviction, where his friends reside:— Brown hair, blue eyej, brown eyebrows, regular nose, small mouth, fair com- plexion, round visage, stout make, 5 feet 9} inches high; burn- mark between right thumb and Anger, lost an upper front tooth. This man was released on licenoe from Mount- oy Prison, 9th November, 1891, and went to reside at 28, Upper Temple- street, Dublin. He recently left his residence without notifying same to the Police, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under sec. 5 of the Act 34 and 35 Vic., cap. 112. 14th March, 1892. ( 464 H. C.) Description of JOHN SMITH, alias JOHN BRADY, alias HENRY BRADY, alias EDWARD LYNCH, who is oharged with stealing an overcoat ( recovered) at Burton- on- Trent, and committed to Stafford Quarter Sessions:— No fixed olace of residence, is a joiner, 70 years of age, 5 feet 4 inches high, fresh complexion, gray hair, light bine eyes, medium build, scar on ton of forehead, fourth left finger contracted; native of Balleyduff, countyCavan, Ireland; unmarried. Previous convictions:— . As Henry Brady.— Salford Quarter Sessions, April, 1871; office breaking and stealing tools; 9 months' bard labour. Leeds Assiaes, 2nd August, 1872; shopbreaking and sacrilege; 18 months and 2 years' police supervision. As John Smith.— Leeds Assizes,, 27th November, 1875; burglary; 7 years penal servitude. Mary- borough, Queen's County Assizes, 9th July, 1883; felony; 5 years' penal servitude. E., where be is well known to " Captain Robinson" and other army officer?. Wanted on Warrant, charged with larceny ( as bailee) of twelve Irish heifers, on the 1st of February Isst, tbe ircprty of Thomas Patton, of Ballybofey, county Donegal, Ireland, cattle dealer :— PATRICK TIMLIN a cattle drover or salesman, 26 yetrs of sge, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, dark com- plexion, rathtr freckled face, hazel eyes, dark brown hair, clean shaven, proportionate figure; late of Long- close- lane, Walmgate Bar, York, where his mother still resides; generally dressed in greenish gray cloth coat and vest, brown check trowsers, collar and tie, and bard felt hat, of respectable appearance, and is well known amongst Irish cattle dealers. Timlin left York cn the 2nd of February last, and is supposed to have gone to Ireland. His parents belong to the west or south- west of Ireland, and be is supposed to have relatives or friends still there, with whom be may be staying. Wanted, on a Sheriff's Warrant, for perjury and fraudulent bankrnptcy, PATRICK DOCHERTY, a money lender, from 35 to 40 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, stout made, fresh complexion, bare faced except moustache, fair hair, cut short snd turning gray; usually dressed in a gray tweed jacket suit and felt hat; resided at one time at 496, Dobbie's Loan, of this city, but some time ago bought Artilow Farm, Lougheske, county Donegal, Ireland, where be has since being residing. The accused was indicted on a charge of perjury and fraudulent bankruptcy, and was to have been tried at a Diet of the Sheriff and Jury Court, held in this city to- day, but failed to appear, and bis bail bond was declared forfeited, and a Warrant granted for his arrest. He will probably endeavour to leave the country. Absconded yesterday. Please canse diligent search and enquiry to be made at hotels, shipping cffices, and other likely places, and if accused is got, arrest, and communicate with J. Boyd, Chief Constable of Glasgow.
