WViri'hs A SHIP'S CHRONOMETER BEATEN. A MASTER MARINER'S EXPERIENCE. , r „ „ 110, Corbyn Street, Hornsey Rise, London, N., Mr. H. Samuel. February 1st, 1802. T V eftr Sir.— I am pleased to inform you my watch has given me every satisfaction. I have had it in constant use in all climates, and have also used it in lieu of my chronometer for finding positions at sea. It h is always proved an excellent time- keeper, although subjected to a great amount of rough wear, having accompanied me on all my voyages for the past six or seven years. 1 think it only due, therefore, to give you this testimonial. I remain, yours respectfully, II. ADAMS, Master Mariner. Hundreds of similar letters from delighted wearers could easily be added. That H. Samuel's Watches should be able to take the place of a specially rated and carefully adjusted timepiece such as a ship's chronometer is, therefore, the VERY HIGHEST TRIBUTE that can be paid to their Marvellous Accuracy and Sound Construction, and it is more than can he said of any similar watch supplied elsewhere, even at three times H.
