RHCSULATIOSTS. tSf" All Notice* intended for insertion in the Hue- and- Cry are to be transmitted under cover, addressed to the Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary, Dublin Oastle, authenticated by a Separate Communication. No Description can be inserted unless an Information shall have been Sworn j but it is not necessary to forward the Informations to the Inspector- General. Notices respecting all Felonies and such Misdemeanours as are of an aggravated nature will be inserted. All Descriptions of persons whose apprehension is sought on a charge of Misdemeanour should be accompanied by a statement that a Warrant has been issued, Mid by the name of the person in whose hands it is. But the Constabulary should remember that they cannot arrest a person charged with an offence of thia nature unless they have the Warrant in their possession when making the arrest. %• Should irregularities arise in the delivery of the Hue- and- Cry, it will be necessary to forward one of the covers, or give the number it bears, as without thia information the mistake cannot be rectified. Prison and Police Authorities are particularly requested to be good enough to inform the Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary, Dublin Castle, of the abolition of Gaols, Stations, < fcc., and of any circumstanoes rendering the supply of the " Hue- and- Cry " no longer necessary. DE COBAIN, native of Belfast, who stands charged that he did, within the past two years, at Belfast, commit an act of gross indecency with another male person, and within the same time, and at the place aforesaid did incite divers other male persons to commit sodomy:— Walks erect, square shoulders, corpulent, contracts eyebrows when speaking, gray eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, full face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 48 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a silk hat, black Chesterfield overcoat, black frock coat, dark trowsers, and dark vest. Description of REDMOND RONAYNE POWER, native cf Waterford, who stands charged with having, in the barony of East Division of West Carbery, parish of Creagb, embezzled a large sum of money, including in particular a SUTI of £ 43, lodged with him in the Skibbereen Branch of the Munster and Leinster Banking Company, Limited, on or about the 22nd October, 1891:— Black drooping moustache j brown eyei, regular nose, pale complexion, regular face, active medium make, 6 feet high about 35 years of age, blaok hair; wore a round black hat, black diagonal coat, trowser3, and vest; blue malton overcoat; teller in Munster and Leinster Bank. Description of a man, who states hii name is SIMON CONNOLLY ( mother's surname Wholly), native cf Gort, who star ds charged with having, in the month of December, 1891, in the barony of Iveragh, parish of Glenbeigh, stolen a coat from one John M'Carthy: — Tattooed cross on inner side of left forearm, band on left wrist, ring on mid lie flngor, and marks of burns or sores on left hand, ears somewhat prominent; blue eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, long face, medium make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 23 years of age, light brown hair, had a fair moustache, which he has sinca shaved off; sometimes won a cap, at others a hat, tweed coat, trowsers, and vest, which he has repeatedly changed; Speaks Irish and English; ratss ha is a labourer, has worked as a tailor. Kings Particulars of CHARLES ROUND, of Lord- street, Liverpool, who was, convicted on ? st March, of having, cn 20th October, 189),. obtained, by false pretences, » snm of money frcm Edward Hurst, pro- vision dealer, Parsonstown, and sentenced to 18 mentis* imprisonment, as it is believed he has also delrauded uumbera of traders throughout the country, it is requested that the Police will cause the necwary inquiries to be made amongst small dealers in earther- ware and others. He represented himself to be a commission agent for various pottery firms in England, and also traded as the " Staffordshire Earthenware and Hardware Company," a firm which exist i in name only, and on raceipt of money fails to forward the goods. In some instances where the orders wora for small amounts, he forwarded the goods for the purpose, presumably, of getting larger orders.
