Oulton and Miss Jane R. Richardson the turn of Is. 6d. each, by means of false pretences:— Brown eyes, slightly aquiline nose, fresh complexion, rather long face, medium make, 5 feet 10 inclcs high, about 28 or 29. years of age, dark hair; wore a light check water- proof overcoat, dark tweed trowsers, dark blue vest; travels and represents himself as a piano tuner; sup- posed law clerk. Description or JAMES WALSH, supposed native of Tipperary. who stands charged with having, on the 8th dav of February, ' 892. in the barony of Connell, pari « h of Morristownbiller, obtained a cheque for £ t 8*. 4d.. by false pretences, which he subsequently converted to bis own use, from Mr Shore, contractor, at Newbridge:— Walks with a slight halt in right leg, shaves chin and upper lip; gray eyes, thick nose, radish complexion, stout make, 5 feet 7 inohes high, about 40 years of age; is a tramp labourer; served in armv. Particulars of CHARLES ROUND, of Lord- street, Liverpool, who stands charged on remand with having, on 20th October, 1891, obtained, by false pretences, a sn « n of money from Edward Hurst, pro- vision dealer. Description of WILLIAM FOLEY, native of Kilmeesan, who stands charged with having, dnring past four years, in the barony of Ratoath, parish of Ratoath, embezzled various sums cf money, amounting to XI8, received by him for his master, Laurence Canning:— Brown eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, long face, slight make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 25 years of age, brown hair; wore a round black hat, black tack coat, brown striped tiowsers, brown vest; smart appearance; is a driver of a bread van. Description of G. B. MYERS alias W. BARON, native of London, and A MAN unknown, supposed native of London, who stand charged with having, on the 5th February. 1892, in the barony of Maryborough East, parish of Borris, obtained by false pretences a sum of £ 4 Is. from Mr. R. J. Henderson, provision dealer, Maryborough, representing themselves as sell- ing Stramonium Cigarettes, and appointing agents for the firm, B. Myers, Stramonium Cigarette Manufac- turers, 3A, Shandy street, Mile End- road, London, S., which only exists in name. The London Police have received several complaints. They are travelling from town to town, and have committed saveral frauds. The cigarettes are of no value:— 1. Long hands and fingers, full mouth, sandy moustache, speaks with an English accent; reiular nose, fresh complexion, round face, stout mike, about 5 feet 8 inches high, about 30 years of age, sandy or fair hair; wore a herd lo « r hat, Melton top coat with velvet collar, and light trowsers; represents himself aa a traveller. 2. Jewish appearance, slight dark moustache, dark brown eyes, regular cose, sallow complexion, round face, stout make, about 5 feet 5 inches high, about 30 years of age, dark hair; wore a dark coat, trowsers, and vest; represents himself as a traveller. Those men take orders, deliver goods, appoint agents at gen- erally 10* fd. per month, undertaking to take back goods unsold, and on these, grounds get orders and receive money. Particulars relative to Convict THOMAS NASH, convicted at Chelmsford, Essex, at the Quarter Sessions, on the 19th October. 1887, for fraud, and sentenoed to 5 years' penal servitude and 3 years' police super- vision :— 45 years of age on conviction, is a labourer, born in Middlesex; no fixed residence; brown hair, bine eyes, fair eyebrows, regular nose, medium mouth, fresh complexion, oval visage, proportionate make, 5 feet 3 inohes high; scar on left arm. This man was released from Pentonville Prison on licence, 29th October, 1891. He notified to the Dublin Metropolitan Police on 26th ult. that he was going to Cork, but he has not reported himself there, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under sec. 5 of 84 and 35 Vic, cap. 112. 21st January, 1892. ( 451 H. C.) Lancashire. Wanted, for forging and uttering two Post Office Orders, about 2 p. m., on the 27th instant a man who gave bis name as THOMAS DILLON or DICKENS:— Spoke with an Irish accent, about 35 years of age, 5 feet 10 or 11 laches high, dark com- plexion, ^ ark hair and small side whiskers, long features; dressed In a shabby dark brown Chesterfield overcoat, black felt hat, white cashmere muffler, and dark trowf> ers; on another occasion he wore a shabby brown tweed suit On the 26th instant he obtained two Post Office Orders for Is. each, at a Branch Post Office, payable to William Gardner at Bradford, and Walter Dudley at Northampton; when presented they had each been altered to £ 5, payable at Liverpool He purchased a black Inverness macintosh, with a velvet collar ( which he may wear), for 8O1., at a large out- fitters, and got both Orders cashed at the shop where the purchase was made. WALTER CRESSY HALL, wanted on Warrrant, for frand, at Hove, on 9th Jaonarv, 1892 s— About 80 years of age, about 6 feet 1 or 2 inches high, dark hair, bald, florid com- plexion, stout figure, dark brown moustache; wore a bla- k flat crown Oxford hat, brown overcoat; gave an address 5, Park- place, London, S. Description of HERBERT CECIL STOCKS, native of Leids, wanted for stealing £ 135 on the 13th instwt:— Respectable appearance, was employed as a clerk cr cashier; 24 years of age ( looks younger), 5 feet high, light complexion, light hair, no whiskers or moustache j dressed when last seen in a light small check j icket suit; had in his possession a large light brown Gladstone bag, quite new. Wanted for stealing the above sum, the property of the Albion Albumenizing Company, 96, Bath- street, of this cily, in whose employment he was as Clerk, JAMES HENDERSON:— About 18 years of age, low set, stont made, short legs, dark hair, no whiskers or moustache, walks with short quick steps, and nsually keeps his bands in his pockets when walking; ( supposed) dressed in a dark jacket suit, dark brown overcoat and black telt hat; resided at 91, Gloucester- street, of this city. Accused was this morning handed two cheques, each for £ 3 >, in his employers' premises as above, in order to get them cashed, which he did and immediately afterwards absconded. Will probably endeavour to leave the country. Please cause diligent search and enquiry to be made at hotels, shipping, shipping; offices, and other likely places, and should accused be got, arrest and wire, J. Wanted here on a Sheriff's Warrant, charged with embezzlement of above sum, the property of Messrs. J. and J. Lonsdale, Provision Merchants, Glasgow, Manchester, etc., for whom he acted as manager in this city, RICHARD PRICE :— From 35 to 40 years of nge, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, ordinary make, but full chested, light brown bair, cut sbort, small side whiskers and fair moustache, otherwise clean shaved. Dressed when he absconded on 24th ult. in a dark serge jacket suit, black felt hat, and light- gray tweed Ulster with cape. Is married, and resided at 16, Dalhousie- street, Glasgow. Description of cattle, the property of Cornelius Cremin pound keeper, of said couaty, which were stolen from the pound in Kenmare, parish of Kenmare, barony of Glanarought, on the evening of the 18th February, 1892 : — Seven Kerry cows and two heifers, all of a common mountainy breed, in poor condition, one cow in calf, all black, 4 years old, the remainder black with white stripes aero is back, the heifers 2} years old. Description of articles, the property of James Ryan, of Parsonstown, which were burglariously stolen from his house at Parsonstown, parish of Birr, barony of Ballvbritt, on the 22ndday of January, 1891, viz.:-. A Waterbury watch, old; value for 2*. 6d.; a pair of earrings, Indian gold ; 4 pairs of bws ( one pair of men's, and three pairs description unknown, supposed to be children's); 4 pairs of long leather leggings, with steel spring fastenings; a gold ring, with blood stone \ 4 gold rings, plain.
