Particulars of CHARLES ROUND, of Lord street, Liverpool, who stands charged or* remand with having, on 20th October, 1891, obtained, by false pretences, a sum of money from Edward Hurst, pro- vision dealer, Parsonstown. Round is now in custody, and ss it is believed he has also defrauded numbers of traders throughout the country, it is requested that the Police will cause the necessary inquiries to ba made amongst small dealers in earthenware and others. He represents himself to b) a commission a sent l> r various pottery firms in England, and also trades as the " Staffordshire Earthenware and Hardware Com- pany," a firm which exists in name only, and on reccipt of money fails to forward tha goods. Deery, . by striking him several times on the head with a stick:— Speaks through his no- e, shaves all his face except small fair moustache, gray eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 24 years of age, fair hair; wore a soft felt hat, dark frieze coat, gray trowsers, end white sleeved vest; is a farmer's son. Description of THOMAS CASHEL ( mother's surname Foley), native of Cappoquin, who stands charged with having, on or about the 3rd September, 1891, in the barony of Coshmore and Coshbride, parish of Lismore, stolen a letter containing a postal order for 15s. :— Walks with a slight stoop and swaggering gait, gray or blue eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, full face, medium make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 18 years of age, fair hair; wore a light tweed cap, dark tweed coat, dark trowsers and vest; is a servant boy. It is probablo he may have enlisted. Warrant has been issued for his arrest in hands of District Inspector, Cappoquin. Cappoquin, 23rd Oct., 1891. ( 12255 c— 94555.) Wicklow. Description. of the undernamed young offender, who, on the 23rd November, 1891, absconded from the St. Kevin's Reformatory School at Glencree :— JOHN FITZPATRICK, 2252, about 17 or 18 years of age, 5 feet 2 or 5 feet 3 inches high, ordinary make, fair complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, ordinary nose, ordinary mouth, oval visage, small cut- mark on top of head; formerly belonged to 24, Upper Mercer- street, Dublin ; his parents reside at Goss's, 14, Aungier- street, Dublin. The school dress, all with the Reformatory Stamp, consists of:— Cloth cap ( Scotch make), corduroy jacket, corduroy trowsers, moleskin vest, elastic belt, and strong nailed boots. No. 2252. The Manager of the Reformatory will defray the expenses of bis conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice on remand, and will reward the person who may capture him with £ 1, 25th November, 1891. Descrption of the undernamed young offender, who, on the f3rd November, 1891, absconded from the St. Kevin's Reformatory School at Glencree,:— JAMES M'SHEA, 2408, about 16 years of age, 5 feet 1 or 2 inches high, ordinary make, fresh com- plexion,- brown hair, brown ejes, ordinary nose, ordinary mouth, oval visage; cut- mark on forehead ; formerly belonged to 2 or 3, Clarendon- row, Dublin; parents reside at 4, Lower Mercer- street, Dublin. The School dress, all with Reformatory Stamp, consists of:— Cloth cap ( Scotch make), corduroy jacket, moleskin vest,. corduroy trowsers, elastic belt, strong nailed bco'. s, No. 2408. M'Shane is the boy's real name, bis brother- in- law, Joseph Walsh ( window blind maker), resides at 3, Lower Kevin- street, and his aunt, Mrs. Rafferty, who works at Jacob's, resides in Bride- street, Dublin. The Manager of the Reformatory will defray the expenses of his conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice, on remand, and will reward the person who may capture bim with £ 1. 25th November, 1891. Particulars relative to Convict THOMAS NASH, convicted at Chelmsford, Essex, at the Quarter Sessions, on the 19th October, 1887, for fraud, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude and 3 years' police super- vision : 45 years of sge on conviction, is a labourer, born in Middlesex; no fixed residence; brown hair, blue eyes, fair eyebrows, regular nose, medium mouth, fresh complexion, oval visage, proportionate make, 5 feet 3 inches high; scar on left arm. This man was released from Pentonville Prison on licence, 29th October, 1691, He notified to the Dublin Metropolitan Police on 26th ult. that he was going to Cork, but he has not reported himself there, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under sec. 5 of 34 and 35 Vic, cap. 11?. G Division. Description of MATHEW FAHY, who stands charged with the larceny of three chests of tea from the premises of tie Midlard Great Western Railway Company, at north Wall, en 80th November, 1891 :— 35 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, stout build, round shoulders, brown hair, fnll face, heavy sandy moustache, remainder of face shaved ; when last seen was dressed in cross- bar tweed suit and black Jerry hat; is a native of Woodford, county Galway, and has friends residing at Athenry and Nenagh, Warrant in the hands of Chief Superintendent. Particulars relative to Convict THOMAS BURNS, C. 128, convicted at the Recorder's Court, Belfast, county Antrim, on 17th Februaiy, 1887, for break- ing and entering, and larceny, and previous conviction, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude s— 28 years of age on conviction, single, is an iron turner, born at Falls- road, Belfast,' resided at Belfast before conviction; has friends residing at Divis- street, Bel- fast:— Fair hair, gray eyes, fair eyebrows, broad nose, medium mouth; fresh complexion, oval visage, stout make, 5 feet. 5J inches high, scar on forehead, right knee, and left breast, two dots between left thumb and finger, lost several upper teeth. This man was released cn licence from Mountjoy Prison on 28th April, 1891, and went to Belfast. He left his residence on the 16th ult. without reporting to the Police, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under sec. 5 of 34 and 35 Vic., cap. 112. 5th November, 1891. ( 437 H. Wanted, for forging and uttering two Post Office Orders, about 2 p. m., on the 27th instant, a man who pave his name as THOMAS DILLON or DICKENS:— Spoke with an Irish aocent, abcut 85 years of age, 5 feet 10 or 11 inches high, dark com- p'< xion, darkhairand small side whiskers, long features; eiressed in a shabby dark brown Chesterfield overcoat, black felt hat, * hite cashmere muffler, and dark trowsers; on another occasion he wore a shabby brown tweed suit. On tie 26th instant he obtained two Post Office Orders for Is. each, at a Branch Post Office, payable to William Gardner at Bradford, and Walter Dudley at Northampton; when presented they bad each been altered to £ 5, payable at Liverpool He purchased a black Inverness macintosh, with a velvet collar ( which he may wesr), for 30*., at a large out fitters, and got both Orders cashed at the shop where the purchase was made. Wanted for stealing the above sum, the property of the Albion Albumenizing Company, 96, Bath- street, of this city, in whose employment he was as Clerk, JAMES HENDERSON:— About 18 years of age, low set, stout made, short legs, dark hair, no whiskers or moustache, walks with short quick steps, and usually keeps his hands in his pockets when walking; ( supposed) dressed in a dark jae^ et puit, dark brown overcoat and black felt hat; resided at 91, Gloucester- street, of this city. Accused was this morning handed two cheques, each for £ 3 ), in his employers' premises as above, in order to get them cashed, which he did ana immediately afterwards absconded. Will probably endeavour to leave the country. Wanted here on a Sheriff's Warrant, etarged with embezzlement of above sum, the property ot Messrs. J. and J. Lonsdale, Provision Merchants, Glasgow, Manchester, etc., for whom he aated as manager in this city, RICHARD PRICE:— From 35 to 40 years of age, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, ordinary make, but full chested, light brown hair, cut short, small side whiskers ai d fair moustache, otherwise clean shaved. Dressed when he absconded on 24th ult. in a dark serge jacket su't, blac^ felt hat, and light- gray tweed Ulster with cape. Is married, and resided at 16, Dalhousie- street, Glasgow. Description of a brooch and Watch, ( he property of Mrs. Fitzgerald Kenny, which were stolen from her dwellinghouse at Clogher, parish of Drum, and county of Mayo, between 31st July, 1891, and 14th January, 1892, by soma person or persons at present unknown:— 1. A white pearl brooch, with a purple stone ( amethyst) sat in centre; value £ 40. A reward of £ 5 will be given for its recovery. 2. A French watch, set at the back with imitation rubies and pearls, also a row of pearls round the dial, four or five of which were missing, the keyhole tor winding the watch was on the dial. A reward of £ 1 will be given for its recovery. It is supposed these articles were pawned either in the country or in Dublin eity or suburbs. Informa- tion to be given to District Inspector, R. I. II.," the ownei's initials, are engraved on the inside and outside the back of the watch, and the words " Elgin, 111. Watch Co." engraved on dial, value for about £ 25.
