IVTIOKTI WT All Notices intended for insertion in the Hue- and- Cry are to be transmitted under cover, addressed to the Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary Dublin Castle, authenticated, by a Separate Communication. No Description can be inserted unless an Information shall have been Sworn; but it is not necessary to forward the Informations to the Inspector- General. Notices respecting all Felonies and such Misdemeanours as are of an aggravated nature - will be inserted. AH Descriptions of jtersons whose apprehension is sought on a charge of Misdemeanour should be accompanied by a statement that a Warrant has been issued, » nd by the name of the person in whose hands it is. But the Constabulary should remember that they cannot arrest a person charged with an offence of this nature unless they have the Warrant in their possession when making the arrest. %• Should irregularities arise in the delivery of the Hue- and- Cry, it will be necessary to forward one of the covers, or give the number it bears as without thi « information the mistake cannot be rectified. Descrtpiion of TIMOTHY RIORDAN ( mother's surnamp Twomey), native of Shanakeel, county Cork, and JOHN DOODY ( mother's surname Murphy); native of Kilboultra, county Cork, who stand charged with having, on or about the 5th June, 1891, in the barony of West Muskerry, parish of Macroom, wilfully conspired, confederated, and agreed to murder one Jeremiah Riordan, of Shanakeel:— 1. Square shoulders, rather short neck, gray eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, about 32 ysara of age, dark hair; wore a round felt hat, black frock coat, striped gray trowsers, black vest; is a farmer. Description of DENIS CARTHY and JOHN PENDER alias " BALLYCOTTON," natives of Tallow, county Waterford, who stand charged with having, on the night of 13th or morning of 14th instant, in the barony of Kinnattalloon, parish of Mogeely, stolen six sheep, the property of Thomas Tobin, of Lackenboha, and sold them at the last Midleton fair ( 14th instant), for £ 9 12s.:— 1. Left arm appears weak; gray eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, about 40 years of age, brown hair; wore a dark coat, gray trowsers, and vest; wears all his beard, which is of a dirty brown colour. Has the appearance of a small farmer. He was in America, and was convicted some time ago of cattle stealing. 2. Gray eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, thin freckled face, slight make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, about 30 years of age; shaves all the face except moustache, which is sandy; was in the army some time. Description of ROBERT SLEATOR ( mother's ' surname Foster), native of Behey, who stands charged with having, on tbe 17th day of October, 1891, in the barony of Tirerrill, parish of Ballysodare, stolen an iron gate, value £ 8, the property of John Coleman, Collconey:— Small fair moustache, gray or blue eyes, slightly booked nosi, fair complexion, thin face, medium make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 30 years of age, fair hair} wore a black bard hat, tweed coat, trowsers, and vest, sometimes wears an overcoat, Newmarket make; is a farmer's son; served in the R. I. C. This man was bailed; to take his trial for said offence at Riverstown Petty Sessions on 28th ult., but failed to surrender to his recognizances. The school dress, all with the Reformatory Stamp, consists of:— Cloth cap ( Scotch make), corduroy jacket, corduroy trowsers, moleskin vest, elastic belt, and strong nailed hoots, No. 2252. The Manager of the Reformatory will defray the expenses of his conveyance, if arrested, to thi nearest Justice on remand, and will reward the peison who may capture him With £ 1. Description of PATRICK DELANEY, native of Holycross, county Tipperary, who stands charged with having, on the. 16th day of July, 1891, in the barony of Clanwilliam, parish of Tipperary, and town of Tipperary, when under arrest for larceny of whiskey from a dwelling, escaped from custody — Blotches on face, Very sharp manner of speaking; gray eyes, very small nose, red complexion, very thin face, slight make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 45 years of age, dark hair turning gray; were an old tweed coat, dark trowsers, and old vest; shabby clothes, coat torn on left arm; is a tramp, Warrant for his arrest with District Inspector, Tipperary. He left his residence on tho loth nit. without reporting to the Police, and his present whereabouts is unknown. Will probably endeavour to emigrate, unless he has already done so. Description of a watc^ i and - chain, which were stojan from Hugh Hayden, a draper's assistant from Athlone, while on a visit hero, on Saturday night, 26th inst., viz.:—. A gold American watch, open- faced, blapk hands, and stink second hand, is a self winder, " K, H.," the owner's initials, are engraved on the inside- atrd~ trutside- the back of the watch, and'the words " Elgin, 111.;, Watch Co." engraved on dial, value for about £ 25.
