All Notices intended for insertion in the Hue- and- Cry are to be transmitted under cover, addressed to the Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary, Dublin Cnstlr;, authenticated by a Separate Communication. No Description can be inserted unless an Information shall have been Sworn; but it is not necessary to forward thfe Informations to the Inspector- General. Notices respecting all Felonies and such Misdemeanours as are of an aggravated nature will be. inserted. All Descriptions of persons whose apprehension is sought on a charge of Misdemeanour should be accompanied by a statement that a Wan- ant has been issued, iiul by the name of the person in whose hands it is. But the Constabulary should remember that they cannot arrest a person charged with an offence of thw linture unless they have the Warrant in their possession when making the arrest. %* Should irregularities arise in the delivery of the Hue- and- Cry, it will be necessary to forward one of the covers, or give the number it bears, as without this information the mistake cannot be rectified. Prison and Police Authorities are particularly requested to be good enough to inform the Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary, Dublin Castle of the ft olition of Gaols, Stations, Ac., and of any circumstances rendering the supply of the " Hue- and- Cry" no longer necessary. DE COBAIN, native of Belfast, who stands charged that he did, within the past two years, at Belfast, commit an act of gross indecency with another male person, and within the same time, and at the place aforesaid did incite divers other male persons to commit sodomy:— Walks erect, square shoulders, corpulent, contracts eyebrows when speaking, gray eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, full face, stout make, 5 leet 10 inches high, about 48 Sirs of age, dark brown hair; wore a silk hat, black esterfleld overcoat, black thick coat, dark trow Bars, and dark vest; is a Member of Parliament. Description of PATRICK CUMMINS ( mother's surname Neill), native of Bagnalstown, who stands charged with having, on the 9th day of July. 1891, in ' he barony of Idrone East, parish of Dunleckney, seriously assaulted one Patrick Whelan. by stabbing him with a knife. V Description of DENIS CARTHY and JOHN PENDER alias « BALLYCOtTON," natives of Tallow, county Waterford, who stand charged with having, on the night of 13th or morning of 14th instant, in the barony of Kinnattalloon, parish of Mogeely, stolen six sheep, the property of Thomas Tobin, of Lackenboha, and sold them at the last Midleton fair ( 14th instant), for £ 9 12s.;— 1. Left arm appears weak; gray eyes, regular no? e, fresh complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, about 40 years of age, brown hair; wore a dark coat, gray trows^ rs, and vest; wears all his beard, which is of a dirty brown colour. Has the appearance of a small farmer. He was in America, and was convicted some time ago of cattle stealing. 2. TIMOTHY DRISCOLL ( house attack), Hua md- Cry, S9th September, not arrested. ( 9775 a— 90171.) Description of KATTIE CRIMPTON, native place unknown, who stands charged with having, on the 28th day of November, 1891, in the barony of Imokilly, parish of St Mary's, Youghal, stolen a lady's silver Geneva watch, with flowers engraved on outside, No. 110,594, and gold chain, with two gold lockets attached, the chain was br ken at the catch, and tied with thread, all value £ 3; also three half sovereigns and 13s. in stiver, taken from the house of one J. Evans:— Mark of sore on back of one hand; gray eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, round full face, stout make, 5 feet 6 inches high about 24 years of age, brown hair; wore a black bat and feathers, plain black dress, with rows of braid, blue jacket, napped, with two side pockets ; speak* with a Dublin accent; very fond of speaking about clergymen, and says she his brothers priests, and sisters nuns. Description of SAMUEL SCOTT, native of Balfaat, who etands charged with having, on the 12th day of November, 1891, in the barony of Lower Iveagh, upper half, parish of Moira, robbed one George Bar- racks :— Gray eyes, long nose, fair complexion, round face, stout " ake, 5 feet 11 inches high, about 39 years of age, fair hair; wore a black cap, black coat, brown tweed trowsers, and black vestt is a tramp. Description of KATE KEARNS, native of county Mayo, who stands charged with having, on the 1st day of November, 1891. in the barony of Galway, parish of St. Nicholas, wilfully and unlawfully abandoned, and exposed her'male infant child, a fortnight old, whereby its life was endangered. Slightly pockpitted, black eyes, regular nose, swarthy complexion, stout make, 5 foot 3 or 4 inches high, about 32 years of age, black hair; wore a black shawl and an old white calico dress, flounced and puckered behind, wor * no boots nor shoes; is a domestic servant. Description of a woman, unknown ( supposed to be ANASTASIA M'DONNELL), native place uri- hrowr, who stands charged with having, OP the ISth day of November, 1391, in the city of Kilkenny, parish of St. Mary's, forged a cheque for £ 50, which ihe terdered in payment for shop goods:— Has tba appearance of a country woman, slow manner of speaking; fresh complexion, soft round face, stout make, about 5 feet high, about 30 years of age, brown hair; wore a dar£ brown or black shawl, brown plush jacket, black dress. no head dress.
