No Description can be inserted unless an Information shall have been Sworn j but it is not necessary to forward the Informations to the inspector- General. Notices respecting all Felonies and such Misdemeanours as are of an aggravated nature will bs inserted. All Descriptions of persons whose apprehension is sought on a charge of Misdemeanour should be accompanied by a statement that a Warrant has been issued, and bv the name of the person in whose hands it is. But the Constabulary should remember that they cannot arrest a person charged with an offence of this nature unless they have the Warrant in their possession when making the arrest. *„• Should irregularities arise in the delivery of the Hue- and- Cry, it will be necessary to forward one of the covers, or give the number it bears as without this information the mistake cannot be rectified. Description of KATTIE CRIMPTON, native place unknown, who stands charged with having, on the 2Hth day of November, 1891, in the barony of Imokilly. parish of St. Mary's, Youghal, stolen a lady's silver Geneva watch, with flowtrs engraved on outside, No. 110,594, and gold chain, with two gold lockets attached, the chain was broken at the catch, and tied with thread, all value £ 3; also three halt sovereigns and 13s. in silver, taken from the house of one J. Evans :— Mark of sore on back of one hand ; gray eyes, regnlar nose, fair complexion, round full face, stout make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 24 years of age, brown hair; were a black hat and feathers, plain black dress, with rows of braid, bine jacket, napped, with two side pockets ; speaks with a Dublin accent; very fond of speaking about clergymen, and says she has brothers priests, and sisters nuns. Particulars relative to Convict THOMAS BURNS, c. 128, convicted at the Recorder's Court, Belfast, connty Antrim, on 17th February, 1887, for break- ing and entering, and larceny, and previous conviction, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude :— 28 years of age on conviction, single, is an iron turner, born at Falls- road, Belfast, resided at Belfast before conviction; has friends residing at Divis- street, Bel- fast:— Fair hair, gray eyes, fair eyebrows, broad nose, medium mouth, fresh complexion, oval visage, stout make, 5 feet 5J inches high, scar on forehead, right knee, and left breast, two dots between left thumb and finger, lost several upper teeth. This man was released on licence from Mount joy Prison on 28th April, 1891, and went to Belfast. He left his residence on the 16th ult. without reporting to the Police, and bis present whereabouts is unknown. Description of a revolver, property of Earl de Montalt which was stolen from the dwelling- house occupied by his caretaker, John Roche, at Monroe, parish of Clonoulty, and barony of Low Or Kilna- managh, on Sunday, 27th September, 1891:— A five- chambered revolver, loaded in three chambers, the | words „ British Bulldog" and " Hawarden," in small letters, engraved on barrel, about 6£ inches long, bluish colour, old and rusty, the barrell thick, about 3^ inches long, round on outside, four grooves on inside, a strap of metal running baok from the barrell along the stock and continuing up to the trigger- guard, dark wooden stock; value for XI. 4th October, 1891. Description of plate, the property of Ardnurcher Parish, which was stolen from the Protestant Church at Horseleap, parish of Ardnurcher, barony of Moy- cashel, on the 28th or 29th day. of August, 1891, probably by tinkers:— One large flagon, supposed silver, broad at bottom, tapering to top, side straight, had a lid, handle, and spout, no inscription; one chalice, gold lined, no inscription, goblet- shaped, similar to a large wine- glass, supposed silver, but may be plated; one paten, supposed silver, may be plated, has a raised bottom of about two inches, size of a breakfast plate, inscribed" Ardnurcher Church " 5 one alms- ilfoh, v ry small, silver, quite flat, with a rim, inscribed " Horse- leap Church, 1806.
