Description of TWO MEN unknown, native place unknown ( supposed county Antrim), who stand charged with having, on the 24th day of February, 1891, in the barony of Loughinsholin, parish of Ballyscollin, illegally entered the lands of Colonel H. S. Bruce, J. P., in pursuit of game, and with having at same time and place pointed a gun at and threatened to shoot one, William H. Phillips, gamekeeper j— 1. Scar over left eyebrow, shaves all his face; dark eyes, dark complexion, stout make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 40 years of age, dark hair; wore a brown cap, brownish tweed coat, brown trowsers and vest. 2. High- cheek bones, shaves all his face; dark eyes, dark complexion, slight make, 6 feet high, about 80 years of age, dark hair; wore a brown two- peaked eap, brownish tweed coat, brown trowsers and vest. Description of PETER MURPHY, native of Dublin city, who stands charged with having, on the 25th February, 1891, in the barony of Lower Navan, parish of Navan, not surrendered to his bail at Petty Sessions, he being charged with larceny of clothing from a dwelling- house:— Rather good- looking; regular ncse, fresh complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 30 years of age, brown hair; wore areddurii brown hat, brown tweed coat, trowsers, and vest; ia a labourer. Roscommon Description of FRANCIS BRENNAN ( mother's surname Lenehan\ native of Kilcloghan, who stands charged with having, on the night of 1st or morning of 2nd March, 189], in the barony of Frenchpark, parish of Creeve, stolen a heifer, tbe property of Patrick Mullany ( see Hae- and- Cry dated 10th March, 1891):— Delicate appearance, dark eyes, rather short nose, pale sallow complexion, thin face, slight make, 5 feet 4 inches high, about 25 years of age, dark hair; wore a cloth cap with two pealis, dark tweed ooat, dark tweed trowsers, and dark vest; ia a farmer's son. Description of a MAN, name and native place unknown, who stands claTged with having, on the 18th March, 1891, in the barony of Upper Dungannon, parish of Derryloran, obtained sums of money from various persons by falsely pretending that he was a lay brother of the Redemptorist Order in Dublin, and that he was collecting money to pay a debt contracted by the Redemptorist Fathers in Dublin I— Large undershot month, upper front teeth large, close, and projecting, round shoulders, somewhat stooped, blue eyes, regular no? e, pale sallow complexion, thin face, slight make, 5 feet 6 inches high, abont 40 years of age, dark hair, turning gray; wore a black clerical coat, black trowsers, and vest; is a vagrant, dressed in the garb of a R. C. Priest. This man goes about the country gathering money on the preferce that he is a lay brother, and collecting for a religious con - inanity. He refuses to give his name or address or any reference whatsoever. It is believed that he may lave committed similar ciimes elsewhere. He has been remanded to Omagh gaol pending iurther enquiries. Any information respecting his previous career to be sect at once to the D. L at Cookatown. Coolstown, 21st March, 1891. ( 8230 c.— 87517.) . Waterford. Description cf THOMAS DUFFY, native of Deerpark, King's County, who stands charged with having, on or about 2£ th June, 1890, in the barony of Moycaabel, parish of Kilbeggan, unlawfully stolen and carried away ten doors, two locks, and othtr property ( now recovered), from the liou; e of Joseph Phylan, Kilbeggan;— Dark eyes, pale oomplexion, thin face, very slight make, 5 leet 7 inches . high, abont 35 years ef age, small black moustache ( may have shav^) uno whiskers or beard; is a grocer'd assistant, formerly a publican. Description of a MAN and WOMAN, names and native place unknown, who stand charged with having, on the 17th February, 1891, in the barony of Moy- ashel and Magheraternon, parish of Dysart, feloniously stolen from Bridget Looran, of Dysart, certain articles of dress, on the highway, at Rathnamuddagh:— 1. Long thin nose, fresh complexion, stout make, middle height, about 45 or 50 years of age, grayish hair, grayish moustache, and long beard; wore a soft black hat and long black coat patched in back of shoulders, carried a blackthorn stick; is a tramp. 2. Fresh complexion, tall, younger than the man, but age unknown, black hair; wore a gray shawl and black dress, no covering on the head ; is a tramp. Kilbeggan, 19th Feb., 1891. ( 7640 c 86523.) Description of Licence holder, c 1,074, THOMAS WALSH, native of New Ross, who stands oharged with having, about the 18th February, 1891, in the barony of Bantry, parish of St. Mary's, failed to notify his arrival to the police, he being a convict on ticket of licence, and his present whereabouts are unknown :_ Slightly pockpitted, and " T. W. M. P." on inside of right arm, " Kate and Ellen" on left fore- arm; gray eyes, thin nose, fresh complexion, oval face, slight make, 5 feet 7 inches high, abont 46 years of age, brown hair; wore a round hard hat, long dark coat, dark trowsers, and dark tweed vest; is a tailor. Description of HENRY JOHNSTON, native of county Wexford ( supposed New Ross), who stands charged with having, on the 2nd day of December, 1890, in the barony of Newcastle, parish of Kilcommon, stolen five bags of oats, the property of Margaret Jones, of Bohana:— Wants an upper front tooth, mark of boil on left cheek near ear, dark eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, round face, mediam make, 5 feet 6 inches high, abont 87 years of age; wore an old gray tweed coat, trowsers, and vest, all much worn; is a tramping labourer. Particulars relative to Convict THOMAS TOOMEY, A 318, convicted at Dublin City Com- mission, on 5th August, 1881, for larceny from the person, and sentenced to 10 years' penal seivitnde:— 26 years of age on conviction, single, black hair, hazel eyes, dark brown eyebrows, rather cocked nose, medium month, sallow complexion, round visage, stoat mako, 5 feet 3 inches high, left arm has been broken, sinews contracted, anchor on wiiat, tight arm tattooed; is a labourer; resided before conviction at Dublin, was boin at Cork, where his friends reside. This man was released from Monntjoy Prison, on Licence, 2nd August, 1890. He has not reported himself at Cork since 13th ult., and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest, he shonld be dealt with under section 5 of 34 and 35 Vie., cap. 112. 23rd March, 1891. ( 389 H C.) Particulars relative to Convict JOHN RYAN c 132, convicted at Monaghan Spring Assizes, on 5th March, 1687, for larceny of £ 130, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude:— 25 years of age, on conviction, single) born at Dublin, where his triends reside, no fixed residence before conviction:— Dark hair, bine eyes, dark eyebrows, regular ncse, medium mouth, sallow complexion, round visage, stout make, 5 feet 5J inches high, abscess mark lett side of neck, swelled veins on left testicle, top of head getting bald; is a dealer. • - ] This man was released from Maryboro* Prison on Licence, the 9th inittnt, and came to Dublin, where he reported his arrival to tie police on the 10th instant, and state d he would call the following day and notify his residence, but np to this he has failed to do so, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under section 5 of the Act 34 and 35 Vic., cap. 112. 26th February, 1891. ( 383 H. C.) Wanted on a Sheriff's Warrant for embezzlement of the above sum the property of bis employers, Messrs. James Gall and Co., provision merchants, 123, Candleriggs, of this city:— MONTEITH SINCLAIR, a traveller, about 23 years of age, 5 feet 4 inches high, slender make, and slight fairish moustache, ruddy complexion; dressed ( supposed) in dark tweed clothes and black felt hat; resided at 1, Albert- road, Crosshill, near Glasgow. Is a native of Newcastle. Absconded on 5th inst., and will likely endeavour to leave the country. Please cause immediate enquiry to be made for the accused at hotels, shipping, shipping offices, and all other likely places, and should he be got, arrest and wire, J. Description of a horse, the property of Edmond Sweeny, which was stolen from the lands of Lemenagh, parish of Kilnatoy, and barony of Inchiquin, on the night of Thursday, the 12th instant, or early the following morning:— A dark bay mare, 2 years old, black legs, tail, and mane, 14 hands high, shod on four feet, clipped trace high all ronnd, turns out the foremost hoofs, well bred, and value for £ 30. It is thought she may be offered tor sale at some fairs in this or adjoining counties. Information sworn. 20th February, 1891. ( 7623 c.— 86355.) Limerick. Description of 22 sheep, the property of Benjamin Corneille, which were stolen from the lands of Bally- currane, parish of Croom, barony of Pubblebrien, on the 16th day of March, 1891 s— 19 two- year- old fat sheep, 2 old ewes, and 1 hogget- ram, all marked with the initials B. C., nearly defaced, on the side, and all, except the ram, marked lightly with red on the pole; 8 of the fat sheep marked with blae down the back. Adare, 19th March, 1891. ( 8173 c.— 87406.) Description of an ass, the property of Daniel Noonan, which was stolen from the lands of Lissard, parish of Galbally, barony of Coshlea, on the night of the 16th or morning of the 17th MarchA mouse- coloured mare ass, in foal, unshod, right fore hoof crooked, bit cut off tail on which no hair grows, about 7 years old, and value for £ 4. Description of two asses, the property of Thomas Nolan and John Keeffe, which were stolen from the lands of Longorchard, parish of Templetuohy, barony of Ikerrin, on the 21st day of February, 1891 :— 1. A male ass, brown colour, white belly, some hair off tail, not shod, 10 years old, and value for XI 10*. 2. A female ass, brown colour, stringhalted in hind legs, white belly, not shod, 10 years old, and value for XI. These asses are supposed to have been sold at the fair ot Clonmel, on the 4th instant. Description of an ass's cart, the property of Robert Allen, which was stolen from the lands of Lissard, parish of Galbally, barony of Coshlea, on the night of the 16th or morning of the 17th March:— A now cart, painted red, with new wheels, band on one wheel new, an old band with split in centre on the other, eye- bolt broken, new back- band, cripples mitred in the middle, owner's name painted on shaft.
