RHQULATIOBIH. tW All Notices intended for insertion in the Hue- and- Cry are to be transmitted under cover, addressed to the Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary, Dublin Castle, authenticated by a Separate Communication. No Description can be inserted unless an Information shall have been Sworn; but it is not necessary to for war J { he Informations to the Inspector- GeneraL Notices respecting all Felonies and such Misdemeanours as are of an aggravated nature will be inserted. • All Descriptions of persons whose apprehension is sought on a charge of Misdemeanour should be accompanied by a statement that a Warrant has been issue*!, and by the name of the person in whose hands it is. But the Constabulary should remember that they cannot arrest a person charged with an offence of this nature unless they have the Warrant in their possession when making the arrest. Should irregularities arise in the delivery of the Hue- and- Cry, it will be necessary to forward one of the covers, or give the number it bears, as without this information the mistake Cannot be rectified. Prison and Polioe Authorities are particularly requested to be good enough to inform the Inspector- General, Royal Irish Constabulary, Dublin Caatl*, of the abolition of Gaols, Stations, jco., and of any circumstances rendering the supply of the " Hue- and- Cry " no longer necessary. Description of TWO MEN, names utkno* n, wl o stand charged with havinsr, on the'night of ISth Sep- tember, 1890, about PJ p. m , in the barony of Bally- cowan, parish of Durrow, entered the hou e of Peter Geoghegan, of Ballinamona, and robbed him of the sum of £ 25, consisting of one ten pound and three five pound notes, numbers unknown :—• 1. The school dress, all with Reformatory stamp, consists of Glengarry cip, cordnroy tonic, moleskin vest, corduroy trowsers, and Blucher boots. JOSEPH HUGHES, native of Moneymore, w ho is a person of weak mind, and separated from his mother and brother at Cookstown Junction on 2nd instant, and has not sinoe neen heard of. It is feared that he may have met with foul play:— Dark eyes, short nnae, dark complexion, ( tout m » ke, 5 feet 7 inches hinh, about 40 years of age, wants two front teeth upper jaw: wore a dark tweed coat, Vue striped trowsers, dark brown vest. Description of PATRICK HOGAN, native of Ballykeveen, who stands charged with bavin jr, on the 15th Auaust, 1S90, at Toem, in the barony of Kil- namanngh Upper, parish of Toem, unlawfully stabbed one Edmond Noonan in the breast with a knife, thereby placing his life in danger:— Gray eyes, rather cocked nose, pa'e complexion, thia face smart male, 5 feat 6 irches high, about 20 years of age, fair hair; wore a gray suit ot c'othos; is a labourer. Dundrum, 16th August, 18S0 ( 4170 c.— 80115 ) Particulars relative to Ccnvict PATRICK O'BRIEN, c 2^ 3, conni ved at Clonmel Assizes, county Tipperary, on 19th July, 18H8, forihe larceny of apnirof blankets, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude :— 26 years of aae on conviction, single; is a labourer; born at Clonmel, where he resided bsfOre conviction and where his fiidnd* lesirie;— Dark brown bair, hazel eyes, dark brown eyebrows, medium nose, medium mouth, sallow complexion, oval visige, proportionate ma^ et, 5 feet inches high, cnt mark leftside of head and between left thumb and forefinger, burn maik on left knee and shin. This man was released from Mountjoy Prison on 20th December, 1889, and went to reside at Clon- mel. He failed to report himself to the R. l. C there on the 2nd inst, he is sunpected of having c m milted larceny and his present whereabouts is unknown. Large scar of burn on right shoulder and armpit, marks of King's evil under left ear and under chin; gray eyes, regular nose, fresh compl xioo, roun 1 fice, stout make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 20 years of sge, brown hair; wore a gray cap, gray coat, gray truwsers, and black vest; is a labourer. 2. Scar on left temple; dark eyes, regular nose, dark complexion, round face, stout make 5 feet 5 inches high, about 19 years of age. dark hair ; wore a bkek cap, long dark coat, dark trowsers and vest; is a tailor. 3. Large dark eyes, regular nose, dark complexion, t1 in face, slight make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 19 years of age, dark hair ; wore a Mark cap, black coat, dark trousers and vest; is a labourer.
