Nose turned down a little at top, has impediment ijr his speech; small nose, thin face, slender make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 24 years of age, no beard or whiskers, very slight fair moustache; wore a gray wo peaked cap, blue sack coat, dark trowsers and est. 2. Description of JOHN KINSELLA, native of Raheny, county Dublin, who stands charged with U « ving, on the 2Srd April, 1889, iu the barony ot' Coolock, parish of Raheny, county Dublin, sold a tree, value for 15s., the property of Mr. John F. Sweetman, to John Byrne, of 29 Buckingham- street. Dublin, falsely representing to Mr. Byrne that the tree was his ( Kinsella's) property :— Walks lame with right leg which is bowed, it having been broken at hip; blue eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, red face stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 30 years of age, face shaved, except moustache which is sandy, sandy hair; wore an old blue serge jacket- make coat, serge trowsers and vest, is a labourer. Description of the undernamed young offender, who, on the 26th March, 1889, absconded from the St. Conleth's Reformatory School at Philipstown :— THOMAS SHERLOCK, No. 1073, between 18 and 19 years of age, about 5 feet 7 inches high, slight make, pale complexion, weak sight, dark brown hair, brown eyes, long nose, small mouth, oval visage ; 2 middle toes on right foot stuck together. Formerly belonged to 56, Beresford- street, Dublin ; father dead ; mother lived at said place when boy was admitted. The School dress, all with Reformatory Stamp, consists of soft hat, corduroy trowsers, vest and tunic. Will probably change his clothes and try to get work with a farmer. The Manager of the Reformatory will defray the expenses of his conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice, on remand, and will reward the person who may capture him with £ 1. Limerick. Description of PATRICK HYNES ( mother's surname Moroney), native of Limerick City, who stands charged with having, on the morning of the 22nd February, 1889, in the borough of Limerick, parish of St. Mary's, unlawfully and burglariously entered the dwelling house and store of Stephen Tubridy, of Athlunkard- street, in this city, and stolen therefrom the sum of about 15*.:— Gray or blue eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, regular face, medium make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, about 32 years of age, brown hair; wore a round hard hat, brown tweed coat and vest, much worn, old navy blue trowsers, bad old highlow boots. Description of PATRICK DALY, native of Bally- currane, who stands charged with having, on the 11th February, 1889, in the barony of Clanwilliam, parish of Emly, county Tipperary, unlawfully in his posses- sion three bullocks, the property of R. C. Dobbs, which were stolen from his farms at Knockgreau and Knocknacrohy, county Limerick, on 4th September and 26th November, 1888:— Ill- looking, speaks rather loud and partly through his nose ; rather long nose, fair complexion, oval face, medium make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 35 years of age, brown hair; wore a bluish coat, gray tweed trowsers and vest; is a farmer. Warrant in hands of District Inspeitor, at Tipperary. Newpallas, 19th Feb., 1889. ( 91541 c.— 61810.) Londonderry. Description of DAVID BROWN, JUNIOR, native of Tullanee, who stands charged with having, on the 6th day of March, 1889, in the Half- barony of Tirkeeran, parish of Faughanvale, committed a rape on Matilda M'Ginnis, a girl of about 13 years of age ;— Shuffling gait, wants first joint of middle finger of right hand, gray eyes, long nose, fair complexion, long face, medium make, 5 feet high, about 16 years of age, fair hair; wore an old navy blue coat, navy blue trowsers and vest; is a cattle drover. ( 93873 c.— 60381 ."> Louth. r Description ol RALPH MANLY alias GORE, native of England, who stands charged with having, on the 11th day February, 1889, in the barony of Dundalk, parish of Dundalk, committed forgery and fraud by presenting a forged cheque to a trader in Dundalk, and obtaining the sum of £ 28 10J. thereon:— Tattooed cross swords and O. M. C. or G. on left fore- arm, hazel eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, thin face, slight make, 5 feet inches high, about 25 years of age, brown hair; wore rsgimeataln, bat will probably dress in plain clothes; is a private in Royal Scots Greys. Roscommon. Description of PATRICK DOCKERY, native of Ardkeena, who stands charged with having, on various dates in December, 1888, and January, 1889, in the barony of Roscommon, parish of Ogulla, feloniously stolen certain letters and packages, the property of the Postmaster- General:— Has high, rather round, shoulders, gray eyes, long nose, pale complexion, long face, medium make, 5 feet 11 inches high, about 25 years of age, dark hair; generally wears a tweed cap ; wore a bright tweed coat, trowsers, and vest; is a Post Office messenger. Description of MICHAEL KIVEL ( supposed fictitious), native place unknown, who stands charged with having, on the 16th March, 1889, in the barony of Corran, parish of Kilturra, stolen an ass, the proporty of William Shaw, which has since been recovered:— Smart, ecwo appearance, wore all his beard which is dark brawn, moustache shaved off, regular nose, eallow complexion, round broad face, • tout make, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, about 35 years of age, dark brown hair ; wore a dark hard hat, brown tweed coat ( much worn), corduroy trowsers, patches on the knees, and tied under the knees with a string; wore clogs, and a coloured cotton shirt without collar or neck- tie ; looks like a labourer. Description of JOHN M'CORMICK ( mother's surname, Sweeny, native of Toorlestraun, who stands charged with having, on the 13th February, 1889, in the barony of Leyney, parish of Achonry, at Tubbercurry, assaulted Thomas Gallagher, so as to endanger his life :— Left leg appears stiff, when walking, drags it slightly, got a black eye in fight, small mark still remains; gray eyes, regular nose, fair rather pale complexion, rather long face, medium make, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, about 22 years of age, dark fair hair; wore a black hard hat, dark sack coat, dark tweed trowsers and vest; is a labourer. Tubbercurry, 27th Feb., 1889. ( 94792 c.— 62192.) Tipperary. Description of RICHARD RYAN, native of Freshford, county Kilkenny, who stands charged with having, on the 25th April, 1889, at Knockagh, in the barony of Eliogarty, parish of Drom, stolen a sheep, the property of Mrs. Johanna Maher, from off her lauds at Knockagh ( the sheep has been found at Kilfane, county Kilkenny) :— Cut- mark on forehead, slight stopper in speech; gray eyes, regular nose, sallow companion, full face, stout make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 65 years of age, dark- brown hair, turning gray i wore a black hard hat, blue cloth oat, tweod trowsers and vest; is a cattle- drover, and frequents the fairs in South of Ireland. Description of JOHN NOLAN, native of Birdhill, Tipperary, who stands charged with having, on the 7th day of March, 1889, in the barony of Clanwilliam, parish of Tipperary, unlawfully and feloniously em- bezzled and converted to his osvn use the sum of. £ 3 11*. 6d., the property of the Waterfy Limerick Railway Company, while acting capacity of clerk in the Company's goods stor perary:— Ill- looking, knock- kneed, and high bones, hazel eyes, long nose, pale complexion, thin fs! slight make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 27 years of age, dark hair ; wore a hard round hat, black serge coat, brown striped trowsers, black serge vest; wore a white necktie, and dark waterproof coat with cape ; is a clerk in goods store. Description of MICHAEL TOBIN, native Shrough, near Tipperary, who stands charged wi having, on the night of 17th or morning of 18i January, 1889, in the barony of Clanwilliam, parish of Ballybrood, feloniously stolen and taken away six bullocks, the property of Mrs. S. E. Gabbett, from her farm at Mountminnett, county Limerick, and that he had the same unlawfully in his possesion :— Dark eyebrows and moustache, dark beard and whiskers cut short, regular nose, dark complexion, regular face, slight make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 35 years of age, dark hair; wore a soft dark hat, dark clothes; is a cattle jobber. He deals in ponies and Kerry cattle, and frequents fairs in the west of Ireland. Dundrum, Sst March, 1889. ( 94064 c 62250.) Description of WILLIAM BYRNE, native of Duncummin, who stands charged with having, on the 12th of February, 1889, in the barony of Clanwilliam, parish of Tipperary, had three stolen calves in his possession, knowing them to be stolen. Tho calves are the property of Mrs. E. Gabbett, Mountminnitt, county Limerick :— Freckled face, small eyes, swarthy complexion, thin face, 5 feet 6 inch- is high, about 17 or 18 years of ago, dark hair; wore a bright tweed coat, cordnroy trowsers; is a labourer. Tipperary, 22nd Feb., 1889. ( 94064 61949.) Tyrone. Description of HUGH PARKER, native place unknown, who stands charged with having, on the 23rd of April, 1889, in the barony of Middle Dun- gannon, parish of Clonfeacle, stolen from the dwelling- house of James Belshaw one gray tweed vest, one pair of woollen drawers, and one pair of socks, value for twelve shillings, at Benburb, county Tyrone:— Smart active appearance; shaves all the face, except moustache, which is dark- brown; blue eyes, regular nose, dark complexion, thin face, s iglit make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, about 35 years of age, looks younger, dark- brown hair; wore a black one- peaked cap, blue tweed coat, g> ay tweed trow sers and vest; employed in a linen factory. This man is a tramp; will likely be found in linen or flax mills. Warrant lor his arri is in hands of Royal Irish Constabulary at Benburb. Aughnacloy, 26tli April, 1889. ( 95790 c 64056.) Waterford. Description of JEREMIAH O'NEILL, native of * Mallow, county Cork, who stands charged with having, on the let day of March, 1889, in the barony of Cosh- more snd Coshbride, parish of Lismore, stolen a IB are, the property of Francis Taaffe, esq., cut of his stable- yard at Fortwilliam, county Waterford :— Very slight limp, and a very marked lisp when speaking; blue eyes, regular nose, sandy complexion, clear- shaved face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 25 or 26 years of age ; is a groom. Westmeath. \ Description of JAMES COUGHLAN, native of Athlone, who stands charged with having, on the 2nd April, 1889,. in the barony of Brawney, parsh of Saint Mary's, indecently assaulted Margaret Reilly, of Ballymahon, county Longford, with the intent to commit a rape upon her:— Military bearing, smart active appearance, shaves all bis face except a small fair moustache; blue eyes, regular nose, fresh com- plexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet 10 or 11 inches high, about 28 or. 30 years of age, fair hair inclined to yellow ; wore a round hard black hat, grey tweed coat, trovsers, and vest; is a journeyman carpenter. Moate, 5th April, 1889. ( 95450 c — 63393.) wicklow. 7 Description of a MAN, name and native place- unknovjp who stands charged with having, on the 25th March, 1889, in the barony of Talbotstown Lower, parish of Boystown, stolen a mare ( which has been recovered), the property of Michael Miley, which h& jsold ij^ ifliiflftb on 2fit. li March. 1889:— ing gray, chin mediun age on con- B3erry ; resided " at Wexford; brown hair, brown eyes, light brown eyebrows, large nose, large moutbr fresh complexion, oval face, medium make, 5 feet 3 inches high ; varicose veins in right leg; right fore- finger has been broken; hollow in right cheek near chin. This man was released from Mountjoy Prison on licence, the 4th instant, and stated he was going to reside in Dublin. He reported to the Metropolitan Police that he would notify his place of residence when he obtained lodgings, but he has not done so, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under sec. 5 of the Act 34 and 35 Vic., cap. 112. ( 242 H. C.) £ 50 REWARD. Description of a man, who gave the name ot JOSEPH B. LYNAM, of the firm of Balman, Bros., New York, wanted here on Warrant, for obtaining on the 12th inet., by fa'se pretences, the sum of £ 150r from an office in this city:— He is about 40 years ot age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, stout make, broad shoulders, thick neck, dark hair, face shaved except moustache, which is slightly gray, sallow complexion, gentlemanly appearance; dressed in black cloth dress coat, clerical pattern, and hard black jerry hat. J.- COLLIER, wanted here on Warrant for obtaining goods and money by means of bogus cheques, purporting to be on the London Colonial Back, 36, Lombard street, E. Wanted on Warrant, charged with stealing three bullocks, value £ 35, from a field at Aston- on- Trent, in this county, at 7 30 a. m., 19th inst, the property of Mr. Joseph Turner. The bullocks have boon recovered. By a ( arm labourer named Benjamin Hibbert; he is of the following description, viz.:— Twenty years of age, 6 foet 11 inches high, fresh complexion, black hair, roundish face, no whiskers or moustache. Is mtJfl, r round- shouldered, long neck, prominent throat ( Adam's apple), all his toes are contracted, and he walks heavily on his heels, leans forward and goes with a slouching gait, one leg slightly bowed. Was dressed, black hard felt hat, new blue- black overcoat, brown check mixture tweed suit^ rather worn, light lace- up boots. ** This man booked by tbe 3 20 p. m. train on 19th inst., from Derby to Holyhead, jfldifcom Holybsad to Dublin, and on the 20th ' offices, and other likely places, and, if found, arrest and wire ; or aDy information gained communicate at once to H. Wanted, for failing to surrender to his recognisances at Ayr, on 11th instant, for a Ferious assault at Auchin- leck:— PETER M'KEAND, a pig dealer, 30 years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches in height, dark hair, no whiskers, small dark moustache, dark eyes, sallow complexion, ordinary build, smart appearance; a native of Stran- raer. Dressed when last seen in Glasgow, on 5th instant, in light check tweed cap, light Melton over- coat, home- made dark gray tweed suit, black and white spot( ed muffler, striped cotton shirt, light lacing boots; bad with him, black corded coat and vest, dark trowsers with blue stripe, elastic sided boots, brown felt hat, stand up collar, dark green broad necktie. Wanted, for the theft of the above sum, consisting of twenty £ 1 Scotch notes, £ 10 in gold, and £ 14 in silver money, the property of a firm of Accountants in this city:— RICHARD ROOTH, a clerk, about 23 years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, ordinary make, jet black hair, which is very rough and thick, dark moustache, otherwise shaved, wants left arm from elbow joint; drees gl in a brown checked tweed coat and vest, dark blue cloth trowsers, with light ripe through them, black felt bat, with broad brim, - iped collar. Resided with his parents, at : romby- street, here. ised at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon received fcey for the purpose of depositing it in a Bank, fT instead of doing so, he appropriated it and ' absconded. Please cause diligent search and erquiry to be made for Rooth, at hotels, shipping, shipping offices, and all other likely places within your jurisdiction; and should he be found, arrest, and communica'e with J. He was convicted at Birr, King's County, 8th October, 1879, of burglary, after previous conviction, and sentenced to 10 years' penal servitude. Is of gentlemanly manner and appearance. Left Fortwilliam on Friday last ( 19th instant) for Glasgow and Edinburgh ; will likely seek to leave the country. A Sheriff's Warrant has been granted lor his apprehension. Dressed, when he absconded on 8th instant, in Fa dark tweed jacket suit and dark- peaked cap. Description of missing watches :— A single- cased tilver lever, maker's name, J. W. Benson, on dial; a double cased silver lever, No. 15,527, maker's name, Pringle, Earlston ; a single- cased silver lever, No. 9,077 or 7,099, maker's name supposed M'Kay, Edinbro'. Initials G. H. on monogram on outer case ; a double- case verge, No. 2,787; a lady's silver Geneva, No. 21,457, flower on dial; a half- hunting cased silver Geneva, No. 45,080; a single- cased silver lever, maker's name and number unknown; a single- cased silver lever, No. 5,244; a lady's gold lever, No. 40,216. Kirk came from Belfast to Philiphaugh, where he has been in business for about nine months. He is a native of Dundee, where he says ho was in business at one time, and " has a brother a boot and shoemaker, in Balgay- avenue there. It is requested that special search and inquiry be made for this person and a'. so for the recovery of the property; and if found, that he be apprehended and the property secured, and notice sent to the Subscriber, who will send for him. Buchanan, Esquire, at an Agricultural Society's Show in Gloucestershire, dated 10 or 12 years ago;" a silver- plated cruet stand to hold o bottles, the bottles were left; 6 table spoons, 6 dessert spoons, 6 large forks and 6 small forks, all electro plated, Old English pattern, and marked " A." 5 6 silver tea- spoons, marked " B."; 2 large silver tea- spcons, marked " I. J. D."; 2 silver tureen ladles, marked " B."; 9 large dinner knives and 9 small knives with ivory handles, maker's name, W. W. Harrison and Co., Shtffield; 3 electro- plated egg- spoons; a small brass kettle; a silver- plated cake basket; also 2 brass candlesticks, and 1 brass tray 12 inches diameter engraved.
