Description of SINON CASEY ( mother's surname Meaney), and MICHAEL GALVIN ( mother's surname Casey), natives of Kilrush, who stand charged with having, on the 25th April, 1888, in the barony of Moyarta, parish of Kilrush, unlawfully assaulted one Thomas O'Brien, and robbed him of tho ram of £ 18 15 « .:— 1. Gray eyes, long nose, sallow complexion, thin face, medium make, 5 foot 9 or 10 inches high, about 35 years of age: wore a soft hat, gray coat, tweed trowsers and vest, is a car- driver. 2. Slightly lame, rowdy looking, gray eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 30 years of age; wore a hard hat, black coat, brown trowsers and vest, is a carpenter. Description of THREE MEN, names and native places unknown, who stand charged with having, on the 20th May, 1888, in the barony of Duhallow, parish of Clonfert, assaulted and forcibly taken a six chamber revolver from John Quirke, caretaker to W. N. Leader, Esq., J. P.:— 1. Fresh complexion, long thin face, slight make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 28 years of age, fair hair, no beard; wore a white tweed two- peaked cap, whitish gray tweed opat. 2. Long nose, dark complexion, round full face, very stout make, 5 feet inches high, about 29 years of age, black hair, no whiskers or beard; wore a black soft hat- black pilot coat. 3. Long nose, fair complexion, very plump face, stout make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, about 34 or 35 years of age, black hair, black side whiskers ; wore a hard black hat, black frieze coat, black trowsers. Description of MARY ANNE MANNION, native of Walshstown, who stands charged with having, on the 3rd day of June, 1888, in the barony of Longiord, parish of Killoran, stolen £ 15, consisting of three £ 5 notes, the property of her employer, John Reilly:—- Black eyes, thick nose, very yellow complexion, broad face, very stout make, 5 feet high, about 22 years of age, black hair; wore a dark cashmere dress, red petticoat, reddish colour shawl, no bonnet, is a farmer's servant. Description of JAMES LEESON alias LICENCE, native of Derrymullin, who stands charged on suspicion with having, on the 17th June, 1888, at Kilmeague, in the barony of Connell, palish of Kilmeague, burglariously entered the house of Anne Fitzpatrick, and committed rape:— Brown eyes, short thick nose, very fallow complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 25 years of age, dark hair, small black moustache; wore a soft black hat, black coat, dark tweed trowsers and vest; hands supposed to be cut, and face scratched; is likely to be found in Dublin, or suburbs, seeking employment; is a labourer; recently discharged from Militia. Description of MARY LYONS, native of New- bridge, who stands charged with having, on the 18th June, 1888, in the barony of Connell, parish of Morristownbiller, stabbed Julia Byrne:— Gray eye", shoit nose, red complexion, red freckled face, stout make, 5 feet high, about 19 years of age, red hair ; wore a green shawl, no hat or bonnet, brown cotton dress is a prostitute. Description of PETER FARRELL and CHRIS- TOPHER CONNOLLY, natives of Cloncumber, who stand charged with having, on the JOth day of May, 1888, in the barony of Connell, parish of Kilmeague, seriously assaulted Robert Nevins:— 1. Narrow shoulders and awkward gait, gray eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, thin face, slight make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 23 years of age, dark hair ; wore a soft hat, dark tweed coat, trowsers, and vest; is a labourer. 2. Fresh complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 30 years of age; wore a dark coat, moleskin trowsers, and dark vest; is a boatman on Grand canal. Was convicted in Dublin about 9 months since, of stabbing, and sentenced to 6 months imprisonment. Has a brother residing in James's- street, Dublin. Warrants in hands of Police. Description of MARTIN WHELAN, native of Freshford, but has no fixed residence, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 25th June, 1888, in the barony of Galmoy, parish of Coolcashin, stolen a dark gray frieze coat with red lining, worn at the sides, also a pair of corduroy trowsers, newly washed, colour rather white; a hard felt hat, a woollen shirt with blue stripes, a pair of men's strong boots only one of which has a toe cap, and a pair ot twilled calico drawers, tho property of Patrick Pentill, out of a barn belonging to William Fitzpatrick, of _ Garrydague, where he had slept for some nights previously and for whom he worked as a labourer:— Walks erect, very ficrce looking, bai marks of scurvy on one leg, small brown eyes, cocked nose, dark complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 45 years of age, brown hair, turning gray; is supposed to be wearing the stolen clothes, as he left his own behind ; tattooed on left side with the letter D which is almost obliterated by having an anchor tattooed over it; is a labourer; works with farmers in county Kilkenny and in adjoining counties. Hazel eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, long face, medium make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 25 or 26 years of age, fair hair; wore a hard black felt hat, and dark tweed clothes, is a farmer's son. 2. Small fair side whiskers and modstache, shaves upper part of chin, long nose, fair complexion, long thin face, medium make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 27 or 28 years of age, fair hair; wore a low soft black hat, and knitted cuffs, dark tweed sack coat, dark trowsers and vest. 3. Description of JOSEPH WATSON, of Tulla, county Care, who failed to appear as bound, at Tulla Petty Sessions, on 21st instant, to answer to a charge of having, on morning ot 6th June, 1888, in the barony of Owney and Arra, parish of Kilcomenty, county Tipperary, N. R., stolen one heifer, the property of H. Twiss, Esq., of Birdhill, and two bullocks, the property of Robert Twiss, esq., of Birdhill, all of which have been recovered:— Heavy gait, one high shoulder, large wild eyes, showing much white, long n<"> 8o u . lh extended nostrils, mark of boil on back ot neck, black marks like shot on face, swarthy com- plexion, hardy appearance, rowdy looking, mark of bullet wound on one knee, about 35 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches high, dark hair, dark moustache; wears a dark serge dress coat and vest, dark tweed trowsers, sometimes dressed in light coloured tweed suit, much worn; ^ ill meet his wife probably at some port. ( 89126 c.— 53380.'} Description of a MAN, name unknown, who stands charged with having, in company with Joseph Watson ( see preceding description), stolca three heads of cattle, the property of Hastings and Robert Twiss, Esquires, rrom the lands or ntrdtiirt, on morning of 6th June, 1888, in the barony of Owney and Arra, parish of Kilcomenty, and townland of Birdhill, and county of Tipperary:— About 25 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, fair complexion, light hair, clean shaved face, except moustache; dressed in a suit of light coloured tweed. This man is supposed to be the name of Michael Donnelly, a discharged soldier and butcher's assistant, whose description is as follows:— Mark of wound on left side of face, blue or gray eyes, regular nose, regular face, red complexion, medium make, clean shaved face except moustache which is sandy and clipped short, sandy hair, generally cut short, is about 25 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high ; wears gray tweed clothes. Description of THOMAS BYRNE, native of Bagnalstown, county Carlow, who stands charged with having, on the 2nd day of June, 1888, in tho barony of Lower Talbotstown, parish of Dunlavin, embezzled the sum of 18s. the property of the Great Southern and Western Railway Company:— Has a sore on right leg, which causes him to walk with a halt, lost one front tooth, blue eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, long face, slight make, 6 feet 1 inch high, about 27 years of age, brown hair, face shaved, except moustache, which is long and fair ; wore a black hard hat, gray coat, trowsers, and vest} is a railway porter, and served 6 years in the R. Particulars relative to Convict JOHN AARON, A 833, convicted at Belfast, county Antrim, at tho Spring Assizes, on 18th March, 1884, for larceny, after previous conviction, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude:— 43 years of age on conviction, married, is a dealer, born at Belfast, resided before conviction in Belfast, his friends reside at 32, Lagan- street, Belfast:— Brown hair, gray eyes, light brown eyebrows, large nose ( appears broken), small mouth, fresh complexion, oval visage, medium make, 5 feet 6 inches high; B. C. on right breast, boil mark on neck, slight cast in eyes, cut mark ov « r right eyebrow and temple. This man was released on licence from Maryboro' Prison, 24th February, 1888, and went to Belfast. He failed to report himself to the Royal Irish Constabulary this month, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under the 5th section of the Act 34 and 35 Vic., cap. 112. ( 167 H. c.) Description of KATE KIERNAN, wanted here on Warrant, for child desertion :— About 20 years of age, medium height and make, light brown hair, delicate appearance, birth mark on one of her arms, dressed in black skirt, long black jacket, black far cape, and black hat; is a native of the county Meath; is a servant by occupation, and wasi in service with a lady in Oldtown, county Dublin, tip to 18th ultimo. Particulars relative to Convict SAMUEL BLAIR, A 790, who has broken the conditions of his licence, convicted at Belfast, county Antrim, on 7th December, 1883, for burglary 3 counts, and larceny 1 count, and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude, in each case sentences concurrent:— 19 years of age on conviction, single, is a sailor, born in Londonderry, resided before conviction at Belfast, his friends reside at Londonderry; light brown hair, gray eyes, light brown eyebrows, broad noso, medium mouth, fresh complexion, round visage, stout make, 5 feet inches high, bracelet, anchor, and shield on left forearm, square, compass, and dot back ot left hand, ring on left middle finger and little finger, square and compass and dot, on back of right band. This man was released from Mountjoy Prison on Licence, the 16th February, 1888, and went to Belfast. He engaged as a sailor in a ship bound for America, on 30th ult., got £ 1 from the Captain to buy clothes, but failed to turn up on tho 5th inst., when the ship sailed, and his present whereabouts is unknown.
