Wanted here, on a Sheriff's warrant, for embezzle- ment of £ 140, being the proceeds of a Bankrupt's Estate, on which accused acted as Trustee :— Angus M. Campbell, an accountant, about 84 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, stout make, dark com- plexion, dark hair, slight dark side whiskers, no moustache, shaved on chin, brown eyes; dressed ( supposed) in a light checkod tweed suit, green or slate coloured overcoat, and square- crowned black felt hat. Is a native of Lochfyneside, Argyleshire, and speaks with a Highland accent. Accused, who absconded oa the 11th instant, had an office at 176^. PARTIOULAUS relative to English Police Supervisee Patrick O'Donald, alias Hugh Lapping, convicted at Salford, county Lancaster, at Sessions, on 7 July, 1884, for stealing a coat after a prior conviction, and sentenced to 15 calendar months and 5 years police supervision : 24 years of age on conviction, single, is a plasterer, born in Glasgow, resided before con- viction at 27, Gun- street, Manchester :— Brown hair, gray eyes, pale complexion, oval visage, proportionate make, 6 feet 3 inches high ; burn marks on left fore- arm. This supervisee was discharged from Knutsford Prison on 6th October, 1886, and went to reside at 5, Millfield- place, Belfast, which place ho left on or about the 1st instant, and is supposed to have gone to Liverpool. PARTICULARS relative to Convict John Herbert, A 64, convicted at Newry, county Down, at the Summer Assizes, on the 3rd July, 1879, for larceny and previous conviction, and sentenced to 7 years' penal servitude:— 32 years of age, single, is a labourer, born at Monkstown, county Dublin, his friends reside at Rathmines; light brown hair, blue eyes, fair eyebrows, broad nose, medium mouth, sandy complexion, broad visage, medium make, 5 feet 4 inches high; dot between forefinger and thumb, both hands. This man was released on licence from Mountjoy Prison, 2nd January, 1886, and went to reside in Dublin. He reported himself to the Police on same date, and said he had no settled place of residence, but when he had procured one he would inform them. He has not done so up to the present, and his whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest he should be dealt with under the Ac*. 84 & 35 Vic., section 5, cap. 112. January 18, 1886. DESCRIPTION of Robert Farquharson, Joint Manager of the Munster Bank Dublin, and Agent for the Royal Exchange Assurance Company, Dublin, who disappeared from his residence about mid- day, on the 28th instant, and absconded from his office, leaving his accounts in an unsatisfactory Btate:— He is about 40 years old, 5 feet 9 inches high, dark hair, dark beard, whiskers, and moustache, slightly tinged with gray, dark fresh complexion, good dark sparkling eyes, prominent teeth, average build, walks with a stx> p, dressed in gentlemanly style, generally wears a silk hat; is a native of Scotland. Huggins), and threatened to shoot him:— 1. Shaven faco, active make, 5 feet 11 inches high, about 30 years of age; wore a light gray suit of tweed ; carried a single- barrelled gun. 2. Medium make, middle sized ; wore a two- peaked cap, and a dark tweed suit; carried a single- barrelled gun. 3. DESCRIPTION of the property of Mrs. Hannah Mathews, which was stolen from her house, Rich- mond- road, in the parish of Clonturk, barony of Coolock, by some person or persons unknown, on the night of the 26tli or morning of the 27th March, 1886 :— A large silver bread- basket, with crest ( lamb and banner) on handle ; a silver horse- shoe brooch, with cap and hunting- wbip cut thereon; a small gold brooch, shaped like a vine leaf; a silver brooch, shaped like a violin ; a silver plated pen and pencil- case ; a pair of double white blankets ; three gentle- man's neckties, a white calico and a dark blue silk, in which was inserted a gold breast- pin, with yellow hair in it; two pairs of ladies' boots, laced; a lady's mackintosh, black, value about 16s.; a small penknife ; a white linen shirt; and a quantity of fair hair, rolled in tissue paper. DESCRIPTION of James Smith, native of London, who stands charged with having, on the 11th February, 1886, in the barony of Uppercross, parish of Tallaght, robbed Edward rafter, of Castlekelly, farmer, of a purse containing one five pound note, two pounds in gold, and about seventeen shillings and sixpence in silver:— Very large eyes, foolish looking, regular nose, fair complexion, thin face, slight or medium make, 5 feet 4 or 5 inches high, about 30 years of age, fair hair, sindy whiskers and moustache, growing very thin on face ; wore an old soft hat, three small buttons on side, old black cloth coat, moleskin trowsers patched on knees with corduroy, and tweed vest; is a labourer, and sup- posed deserter from Army. DESCRIPTION of Joseph Greene, native of Mace ( Carna), who stands charged with having, on the 9th January, 1886, in the barony of Ballynahinch, parish of Moyrus, seriously assaulted John Corbett, by striking him with a stone on the head, and being bailed to stand his trial ( at ihe present Galway Spring Assizes, failed to do so :— Down- looking appearance, dark whiskers, recently clipped very short, gray eyes, ordinary rose, dark complexion, thin face, medium make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 22 years of age, dark hair; wore a black soft hat, dark gray frieze coat, trowsers, and vest: is a farmer's son. Kildare DESCRIPTION of a man, name and native place unknown, who stands charged with having, on the 4th February, 1886, in the barony of North Salt, parish of Taghadoe, set fire to a rick of hay the property of Miss Rickards, of Corbally:— Dark complexion, thin face, medium make, 5 feet 2 inches high, about 40 years of age, dark hair, chin shaved, wore side whiskers ; wore a soft jerry hat, dark worn coat, dark trowsers, and vest; is a tramp. On the 22nd of January inst., James Slattery, a convict on ticket- of- licence, who had failed to report himself, was returned for trial at Monasterevan Petty Sessions, for a robbery of plate from the R. C. Chapel there. In a bundle which he had there was some Altar linen, partly cut up, and a piece of embroidery on white satin, yards long, 8^ inches deep, with a- yellow fringe on one side 2 inches deep. The embroidery consisted of flowers and leaves in green and red, two rings at each end, and a large one in the centre containing the letters " I. H. S., " inter- laced in green, yellow, white and crimson. These do not belong to Monasterevan Chapel, and it is believed that Slattery committed a similar robbery elsewhere. DESCRIPTION of Peter Joseph Rooney, native of Glenade, who stands chargod with having, on the 12th December, 1* 85, and on subsequent dates, in the barony of Dromahaire, parish of Cloonclare, obtained several sums of money from one Thomas Loughlin, and others, by means of false pretences :— Large dark eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, about 25 years of age, dark curly hair ; wore a two- peaked cap, and dark clothes; drives a post ear through the country, and represents himself as a tea traveller, offers tea and sugar at very low prices, and obtains some money, promising to send the goods. Slightly stooped, round thick shoulders, gray or blue eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 9J inches high, about 24 years of age; wore a black hard hat, black sack coat, tweed trowsers and vest; is a farmer's son. 2. DESCRIPTION of Thomas Costelloe, native of Cortoon, Kirwin, near Kilmaine, who stands charged with having, on the 15th July, 1886, in the barony of Kilmaine, parish of Ballinrobe, stolen a pig, the property of Michael Reilly, of Ballinrobe; the pig has been recovered :— Slight cast in left eye, gray or blue eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, regular face, medium make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 27 years of age, fair hair j wore a fair moustache and small side whiskers, soft black hat, gray tweed suit, black leather leggings, may have gone to England to rejoin the army; army reserve man from cavalry; he trains horses. DESCRIPTION of Patrick Healy, native of Carnaclory, county Sligo, who stands charged with having, on the 21st day of January, 1886, in the barony of Gallen, parish of Killedan, assaulted Edward Hussey, assistant messenger of the Court of Bankruptcy, Ireland, after being arrested on a Warrant issued by said Court, thereby effecting his escape from legal custody:— Holds down his head, and appears shy when spoken to, high cheek bones, strong features, small fair moustache, no beard or whiskers, full gray eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, regular face, stout make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 24 years of age, light brown hair; wore a low black hat, wide leaf, dark tweed or serge coat, gray tweed trowsers, dark vest, may be wearing a dark tweed ulster coat; is a shopkeeper.
