A starch or raiiin box, bearing ' Ricketts' Starch' under lid, 19 inches long, 11 inches wide, atjd 6 inches deep, was found in Fagle'y Lane, Eccleshill, at 5 30 a. m. on l& tn insr,, containing the Dead Bodies of two female infants, newly born, and apparently twins. A post- mortem examination was made on the bodies, which shewed that one had been still- born and that the other had died from pressure on the chest.
