INFORMATIONS. MURDER AND MALICIOUSLY WOUNDING. A starch or rauin box, bearing ' Ricketts' Starch' uod r lid, 19 iuches long, 11 inches wide, ai. d 6 inches deep. was found in Fagley Lane, Eccleshill, at 5 30 p. m. on 15th ins'., containing the Dead Bodies of iwo female Infants, newly born, and apparently twins. A post- mortem examination made on the bodies, which shewed that one had been still- barn and that fie other had died from piessure on the chest. At ail ii: quest, held ou 16th iustant, the veid'ct was, ' Oils Murdered by some person or persons unknown : the other still- born.' Information to Mr. Supt. Symonds, W. It. At 5' 40a. m. on 4th instant, the dead body of Jonas Bottomley, confectioner, Keighley, was found lying face down wauls on th* canal side, near Monk- budge Forge, and • on medical examination, there were fomd a ltrge wound ou the forehead, and another ou the ba; k of the hi ad; also missing from his vest pocket and supposed stolen:— a medium sized gold Geneva Watch, with silver gilt dial, much worn, * nd flowered back, aUo much worn. Has resided in Aston near Birmingham, where he has acquaintances, is a widower and has three children, two girls and a boy, whom he took with him, the oldest girl being about 17 years of age.
