FAILED to report his change of residence, licence holder, G 408, Henry Jackson, alias Robert Nally, a groom, native of Dublin, 29 years of age, 5 feet 7J inches high, stout build, brown hair, hazel eves, fresh complexion, round features, sear on right ell joint, flat- footed, fifth toe of each foot overlaps fourtli, convicted at Liverpool Sessions, 17th April, 1880, of being in possession of counterfeit coin, and was sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude ; released from Her Majesty's Convict Prison, Portsmouth, 15th March, 1883, on licence. He enlisted at Newcastle- on- Tyne, on the 21st November, 1882, and is now a deserter from his regiment. Description of Horse and Dog- Cart— A light brown nine- year- old horse, nearly 16 hands high, two white fetlocks, a little flat on near side, having once two ribs ivv- wore set of silver- mounted harness, nearly new. i'our- wheeled small- sized dog- cart, light weight, almost new, blue painted with white lines, blue fittings, top of dash- board silver- plated ; motto, " Follow me " engraved on back, wheel caps stamped— supposed " Peddie, Kilmarnock;" also an ordinary carriage- whip, horse- rug, and two water- proof aprons. Accused drove south by Auchterarder, Stirling, and Linlithgow, and presenting letters to hotel keepers, purporting to be from Captain Burton, Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh, he was put up for a night at each of those towns. He has not since been heard of, and it is supposed the horse and trap will now be sold. Police officers are requested to make special search and inquiry for the accused, also for the horse and dog- cart; and, if found, to detain and wire to the subscriber. I WANTED in Aberdeen, for forging or uttering a forged Bill of Exchange for .£ 185, on 2nd April, ' 1883, James Stewart Murrison:— Native of Aberdeen, clerk, or private in the Royal Highlanders, 33 years of age, fresh or florid complexion, blue eyes, common nose, fair hair of a reddish tinge, reddish whiskers, 6mnll and on sides of head, if any, shaved on chin,' reddish moustache, cut straight across when last seen-, 5 feet 11 inches high, stout make; scars on right cheek, chin, and point of fourth finger on left hand; moles on left side of neck, inside right thigh, and under left arm- pit. He is a deserter, and although only a few months in tho Army, has a smart soldier- like appearance, and is presently wanted in Perthshire, for obtaining a horse and dog- cart on false prctenccs. Dressed when last seen in a long dark or blue over- coat or Ulster of rough material, dark trowsers, and low round crowned billycock hat. The accused obtained eight £ 20 notes of the Aber- deen Town and County Bank, and twenty- five sovereigns, on tho forged bill; and, being of dissipated habits, may be found drinking at hotels or public houses, or he may endeavour to emigrate. WANTED here, under a Sheriff's Warrant, charged with having, on the loth March last, obtained on hire from a firm of horse- hirers in Perth, a horse and dog- cart, on the false representation that he was a servant to a Captain J. S, Burton, of the Royal Engineers, James Stuart:— A private in the Royal Highlanders ( Black Watch), stationed at Perth, native of Aberdeen, 26 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches in height, fair hair inclined to red, little or no whiskers, small fair moustache, conspicuous scar on chin, speaks with Scotch accent, smart soldier- like appearance, and is well educated. VI HEREAS by our Proclamation, dated the 9th May, 188i, We offered a reward of Ten Thousand Pounds to any person or persons who should, within a limited time therein specified, give such information as would lead to tho conviction of the Murderers of Lord Frederick Cavendish, the Chief Secretary, and Thomas Henry Burke, Esquire, the Under Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, in the Phoenix Park, Dublin, on the 6th, May, 1882: And whereas the time therein specified for giving such information has expired : Now We, the Lord Lieutenant- General and General Governor of Ireland, are pleased to renew the said offer, and We do hereby offer a reward of TEN THOUSAND POUNDS STERLING to any person or persons who, within six months from the date hereof, shall give such information as will lead to the conviction of any of the Murderers : And a further reward of FIVE THOUSAND POUNDS for such private information as shall, within the same period, lead to the same result: AND whereas it is known that four perpetrators of these Murders escaped from the scene on an outside car which was driven away by a fifth person : Now We are also pleased hereby to offer to any person concerned in or privy to these Murders ( not being one of the above- mentioned four Murderers) who shall, within three months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the conviction of any one of the said four Murderers, a FREE PARDON and the special protection of the Crown in, any part of Her Majesty's Dominions, in addition to a reward of FIVE THOUSAND POUNDS. And We are further pleased to offer a reward of ONE THOUSAND POUNDS to any such person concerned in or privy to these Murders, who shall, within the said last- mentioned period, give such private information as shall lead1 to the conviction of any one of the said four Murderers, or of any other person concerned in or privy to the Murders. AND We are further pleased hereby to offer a reward of FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS for such private information as shall lead to the identification of any person concerned in or privy to the Murders, or of the horse and car used on the occasion, such last- mentioned reward of Five Hundred Pounds to be paid upon the information being corroborated to Our satisfaction by other information in Our possession, even though no person should be made amenable to justice as a result thereof. And We hereby premise that every effort shall be made to insure that the name or names of any person or persons who may become entitled to any of the said rewards for private information shall not be disclosed or made public, and that the said reward shall be paid in any manner in which such person shall desire. Given at Dublin Castle, this 10th day of November, 1882. DESCRIPTION of the four men, wanted for the murder of Lord F. Cavendish and Mr. Burke, the Chief and Under Secretaries for Ireland, in the Phoenix Park, on Saturday, Oth May, 1882, between 7 and 8 P. M. : 1. About 35 years'old, stout make, dark complexion, hair, whiskers, and moustache recently clipped, so as to give a bristling appearance, narrow forehead, natural hollow or dinge on bridge of nose; wore a soft black jerry hat and dark clothes. 2. About 30 years, sandy hair, whiskers, and moustache; brown faded coat, as if much exposed to sun, soft black jerry hat. 3. About 20 years, small dark moustache, no whiskers ; soft black hat' and dark clothes. 4. About 30 years, sandy hair and moustache, beard on chin ; wore dark clothes and soft black hat. The height cannot be giVen of any, all being sitting on an outside car, driven by a man between 35 and 40 years, red bloated facfe"," with a few days' growth of beard on; dark or brown coat, supposed frieze, and low soft black hat. The horse was a bay or chestnut, of good action, and the car had either a dark green or a red panel. The men had the appearance of sailors or well- to- do artisans.— JOHN MALLON, Superintendent. PARTICULARS relative to Convict Mary Egan, 2428, convictod in the county of the city of Dublin, at the Commission, on 4tli June, 1878, for felony of three coats, and sentenced to 5 years penal servitude:— 05 vears of age on conviction, is a Roman Catholic, widow, is a dealer, was born in Limerick, resided before conviction in Dublin, her friends reside at Limerick; brown hair turnteg gray, gray eyes, light eyebrows, short nose, medium mouth, fresh complexion, broad and long visage, burn mark on right temple, stout make, 5 feet 4 inches high. This convict was discharged from Mountjoy Prison on licence, 20th November, 1882, and went to Dublin. She left her residence, 91, Coombe, without notifying same to the Metropolitan Police, and her present whereabouts are unknown. In tho event of her arrest she should be dealt with under the 5th section of the Act 34 & 35 Vic., cap. 112. ( 20001 m.— 48109.) WHEREAS at or about the hour of twenty minutes past three o'clock, P. M., on Thursday, the 8tli June, instant, Walter M. Bourke, Esq., of Rahassane Park, Craughwell, in the county of Galway, and Corporal Wallace, of the Royal Dragoons, were shot dead on the road close to one of the gates of Castle Taylor Demesne, near Ardralian, in the said county, by some person or persons at present unknown : His Excellency, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of these Murders, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of TWO THOUSAND POUNDS to any person or persons who shall, within six months lrom the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the conviction of the person or persons, or any of them, who committed the said Murders. And a further reward of ONE THOUSAND POUNDS for such private information as shall lead to the same result. His Excellency is also pleased to offer in addition to the above rewards a FREE PARDON and the Special Protection of the Crown in any part of Her Majesty's Dominions to any person concerned in, or privy to, the said Murders other than the person orpersons who actually committed the same, in case of his giving such information as shall lead to the con- viction of the persons, or any of them, concerned in the Murders aforesaid. DESCRIPTION of Patrick Finnerty, native of Clough, who stands charged with having, on the 9th March, 1883, in the barony of Tiaquin, parish of Cloonkeen, while of unsound mind, attempted to assault his wife. He left his home about the 15th inst., was seen at Mountbellew, on the 18th inst., and it is believed he has met with some evil end. DESCRIPTION of Thomas Sex, native of Rickards town, who stands charged with having, on the 21st of March, 1883, in the barony of East Offaly, parish of Ballysax, failed to appear at Petty Sessions in accordance with his recognizance to answer a charge of larceny:— Fair complexion, medium make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 47 years of age, brown hair ; wore an old jerry hat, dark tweed coat, trowsers, and vest; is a small farmer. DESCRIPTION of William John Murphy, native of Ballynahinch, who stands charged with having, on the 23rd March, 1883, in the barony of Kinalarty, parish of Magheradrool, stolen two cows, the property of James Irwin, from his cow- house, at Creevytenant, near Ballynaliinch. The cows were found in Murphy's yard, in Belfast:— Mark of a sore on left cheek from bite of au ass, on which there is a scab, hard lump on forefinger of left hand from scutching, old cuts on right hand, brown eyes, long nose, dirty sallow complexion, long face, medium make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 38 years of age, brown hair; is a scutcher, and deals in paraffin oil. DESCRIPTION of Thomas Watson, native of Ballina- sloe, who stands charged with having, on the 17th day of March, 1883, in the borough of Kilkenny, parish of St. Canice, stolen an ass, cart, and harness, the property of John Nolan, of Ballyfoyle, out of a yard in Green- street, Kilkenny city. The ass, cart, and harness have been recovered at Tullow, county Carlow, where Watson pawned the harness, sold the cart, and offered the ass for sale. ( See Hue- and- Cry, dated 23rd March, 1883):— Tattooed anchor on back of right hand, has habit of shaking his head as if from constitutional causes, speaks hurriedly and in a grating voice, blue eyes, long nose, pale complexion, thin face, medium make, 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, about 55 years of age, gray hair, and short gray whiskers ; wore a hord jerry hat, short blue torn coat, and brown tweed trowsers broken on knees; is a drover. DESCRIPTION of a man, name unknown, supposed native of Drogheda, who stands charged with having, on the 19 th day of March, 1883, at Collon, in the barony of Ferrard, parish of Collon, stolen a yearling bullock, tho property of A. II. Wynne, Esq., J. P., which he sold to John Brady, of Newtown, and which has since been returned to the owner:— Gray eyes, regular noso, florid complexion, thin face, slight make, 4 fe ot 9 inches high, about 14 or 15 years of age, brown hair; wore a black cap much worn, brown tweed coat, tweed trowsers and vest, white muffler, and old elastic boots; is a cattle drover. DESCRIPTION of James Ruddy, native of Doogort East, who stands charged with having, on the 5th April, 1883, in the barony of Burrishoole, parish of Achill, seriously assaulted Patrick Grealisli, thereby placing his life in danger:— Good- looking, smart active appearance, gray eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, regular face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 20 years of age, fair hair; wore a dark coat, cord trowsers and vest; is a labourer. Has fair side whiskers and fair moustache, blue or gmy eyes, sharp pointed nose, pale complexion, regular face, very stout make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 25 years of age; wore a soft black hat, blue frieze coat, plaid trowsers and vest; is a labourer. 2. Slovenly gait, bends forward when walking, gray eyes, slightly hooked nose, fair complexion, regular face, very slight make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 24 years of ago; wore a soft black liat, blue, frieze coat, plaid trowsers and vest; is a labourer.
