The other, about 25 years of age, 5 feet 8 ins. high, fair complexion, small light moustache, and fmall whiskers ; dressed in light dust coa% light trousers, arid haul black billycock bat. One woman, about 50 years of age, medium size ; dressed in long cloak, dark alpaca one side and fur the other, and dark bonnet; and the other about 25 years of age, light complexion, short in stature, medium build ; dressed in long light Ulster, and wcra a hat. Robert is about 25 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 iiiches high, with small dark whiskers ; dressed in a dark plaid suit, large white buttons, and tight- fitting trousers with double seams; Samuel is about 20 years of age, and dressed in close- fitting cord trousers, monkey jacket, and sugar- loaf shape black soft felt hat; and William, about 18 years of age, and dressed in light coloured, coid trousers, and sugar- loaf shape felt hat; all tLree wearing a crape or cloth badge round arm. Wanted upon a warrant, charged with stealing a Saw ( recovered) at Hastings :— ROBERT JOHNSON, a carpentor 50 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, light brown hair, moustache and whiskers cut square, bald on tap of head, medium build; dressed in brown jacket, black cloth vest, dark trousers, black billycock hat, and elastic side boot, ail old and shabby. Stolen from a stable in Bi idge- street, Burton, on 3rd instant:— a pair of Reins, very old, and mended in sevorai places; a pair of Hames and Traces made of heavy material • a Pad and Breeching, about two inches broken off the erunneir strap, the pad is made of patent leather. Absconded from Derby, oa 3rd instmt, charged on a warrant with stealing a Trunk, £ 11 in Gold, 2 Coats, 2 Vests, 1 pair of Trousers, 2 woollen Shirts, 3 Singlets, 3 pairs of Drawers, 1 pair of Slippers, 2 pairs of Boots, 1 Bank Book, and other articles, the property of William Aitken Fletcher: — ERNEST LECLERQ, about 24 years of age, about 5 feet 6 inches high, light brown hair, slight light moustache, no whisters, and slight build; stated he was a musician. He took lodgings in Derby about a fortnight ago, and advertised in the Liverpool Mercury and other papers for a young man to travel with a theatrical company as cashier, small security required; he engaged one, and met him at the railway station on 3rd instant by appointment. The young man left the trunk containing the money i » nd wearing appirel in the cloak room, when Leclerq obtained the ticket, promising to take the box to his lodgings, but absconded with it. He is a very good singer, writes music, and frequents public- houses where there is music and singing. No doubt he is the person advertised in the Pol ce Gazette of 29th ultimo as wanted at wanted at Kings Lynn for fraud. Information to Chief Constable Delacombe, Derby.— Bow- street, April 6. Charged on a warrant with stealing a gold Watch Chain, & e. JAMES WILSON, 27 to 30 years o| 8ge, 5 ft. 8 or 9 inches high, thin build, rather delicate looking, fair complexion, light brown hair, smooth face, small fair moustache, the corners of mouth lengthen when speaking; dressed in a grey tweed suit and bowler hat. Is a native of Durham, and speaks with a north country accent. Haa a smart active appearance and calls himself a waiter, but follows race meetings. His wife resides at York- road, Yarm- lane, Stockton- on- Tees, where he may be found. Information to Chief Supt. Williams, Liverpool.— Bow street, April b. Between 7 p. m. on 31st ultimo, and 6 a. m. on 1st instant the saddle room at the Vicarage, Betchton near Sandbach was entered and stolen therein :— a olue smooth cloth man's Ovcr- coat, black velvet collar, black cloth buttons, has been burned with pipe in right pocket, and neatly mended; a pair of men's black cloth Trousers; a pair of old brown tweed Trousers, patched at the knees ; a cashmere Muffler, light ground, red and yellow spots about the size of a sixpenny piede ; a bine Necktie ; a pair of black and white knitted Gloves ; a pair of strong lace- up Boots, men's size; 3 pair of Horse Clipping Machines, two pair Clarke's patent, one Newmarket clipper. Oa the morning of 1st instant, a man pledged the machine, Newmarket Clipper, at Burslem, Staffordshire, in the nam", of John Mitchell, an was afterwards wanting to sell another pair at a public nouse in Burslem, which he said were in the bundle, he had with him the above muffler. Charged with obtaining money by false pretences at Birmingham :— CHARLES BIELE Y, about 22 years of age, about 5 feet 6 inches high, medium build, fair complexion, round features, very slight moustache, usually dresses in smart brown suit, a printer, and has been in business for him- self at Leeds, where his friends now reside, was employed in Birmingham rs traveller in the printing trade. Committed to Her Majesty's Gaol, Springfield, for 21 days for begging :- EDWARD WELLS, a tramp, 19 years of ag.-, 5 feet 6 inches high, brown hair, blue eyes, fresh com- plexion, mole on left bieast, vamose veins left leg ; dressed in grey striped tweed vest, dark grey trousers, black cloth coat with hip pockets, old lace- up boots, and dirty black felt hat; he had a dark grey serge overcoat, with three outside pockets and one inside left breast; in pockets a pair of very dark green kid gloves, and a while handkerchief marked ' K.
