Further particulars respecting the housebreaking near Llanfyllin, Montgomeryshire, advertised in Police Gazette of 12th instant: in the pocket of the stolen coat were a common Pocket- handkerchief, with red borders, and pictures of deers in the white, and a white Muffler. Id. in Money. The house of Mr. Gunton, Mill Bank, and'stolen : a gold Watch, cylinder escapement, No. 16761, maker Johnson, Liverpool, jewelled iu four holes, and black jet Chain attached; a gold Pencil- case, marked ' M. - S.' ; a gold Brooch, oval shape, stone in centre; two common Brooches ; and £ i in Gold. Keeper, has been lately filed ; a gold Ring, with six pearls_ and one ruby ; a large Spanish Coin ( image king), about size~ of crown piece, date 1803. Supposed by two dirty looking, whitesmiths, who had been repairing locks in the town : one about 50 years of age, the other 30 years of one slight, the other stiff, about 5 feet 2 inches high, dark hair and complexion. Stolen during the night of 19th instant, from a stable at Ingham, Suffolk : a bay cob Gelding, 8 years old, about 13 hands high, off fore foot and both hind feet white, also white saddle mark on back, has been clipped, had horse Rug- on. Stolen from a field at Gallywood, Great Baddow, Essex, during the afternoon of 16th instant: a dark bay Cob, years old, black legs, bushy foretop, very thick mane, chipped knees, about 15 hands high, iu good condition. In- formation to Mr. Superintendent Lennon, Constabulary Otfiee, Chelmsford, Essex.— Bow street, November 24. During the night of 20th instant, a fat wether Sheep was slaughtered in a field at Handsacre, the skin, head, and entrails were left in the field, and the carcase taken away. Information to Deputy Chief Constable Oswell, Stafford, or to Inspector Barrett, Town Hall, Rugeley, Staffordshire.— Bow- street, November 24. Further information respecting the Pony stolen from Hall Green, on 14th instant, and advertised in Police Gazette of 17th instant : it was traced through Stratford on the mail road to Banbury and Oxford, and was being ridden by a man about 25 to 30 years of age, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, thin features, large nose, dark hair, and moustache, was wearing a long blue overcoat, and dark trousers. Information to Mr. Superintendent Simmons, Solihull, or to Inspector Prosser, Acocks Green, Warwickshire.— Bow- street, November 21. Stolen on 6th ' instant, from a field near Middleham, Yorkshire : two Bullocks, one red, and one light roan, 11 year old. Information to Mr. Superintendent Alderson, Ley burn, North Riding Constabulary.— Bow- street^ Nov. 19. The dark brown cart Horse, with roach back, reported stolen from a field near Byde Mill, Corsham, Wilts, adver- tised in Police Gazette of 17th instant, is recover* d, and GEORGE SMITH, is charged with stealing the same : he is 31 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, sallow complexion, dark brown hair, hazel eyes, sandy whiskers, beard, and mous- tache ; dressed in black coat and vest, light cloth, trousers, lace- up boots, with brass eyelet holes, aud hard felt hat ; states he is a native of Prestleigh, near Shepton Mallei, Somersetshire. Information to Mr. Superintendent Baldwin, Chippenham, Wilts.— Bow- street, November 19., UECMYAIB EMBEZZLEMENT. Absconded from Hartshill on the 15th instant, charged on a warrant with stealing an English lever silver Watch, No. 1925, maker ' Bates, Liverpool,' gold hands, minute hand broken, glass much scratched— a man, giving the name of GEORGE HOLLAND, a brickmaker, about 25 years of age, 5 feet 0 inches high, fresh complexion, brown hair, light moustache, tuft of hair on chin; dressed in dirty moleskin trousers, brownish plaid jacket, brown and white neckcloth, check seamed cap with peak, and strong lace- up boots ; was then walking somewhat lame in consequence of having injured a toe of left foot by striking it with the point of a pick, making a hole in the boot. Information to Mr. Superinten- dent Walker, Atlierstone, or to Inspector Hannah, Nuneaton, Warwickchire.— Bow- street, November 24. POLICE GAZETTE. November 24 fair medium Absconded from Eastbourne, Sussex, on 18th instant, charged with stealing £ 3 2s. 6d., at Willingdon : MARY REED, about 21 years of age, 5 feet 3 or 4 inches high complexion, rather full face, liazel eyes, brown hair, figure; dressed in black felt hat, with white feather, brown dress aud was carrying a black silk umbrella, and small black ha". ' And HARRIETT REED, commonly called SKINNY, about 20 years of age, 4 feet 10 or 11 inches high, fair com- plexion, oval face, has a scar on bridge of nose, one corner of right eye, one- oil right arm, blue eyes, browu hair, cut short in" front, aud ruther slight figure ; dressed in black hat, with grey feather, and rather long black jacket. They are cousins, and are likely to be found together in company of soldiers. Harriett is under police supervision. Information- to Mr. Superintendent Newnliam, East Sussex Constabulary, East- bourne, who holds a warrant for their apprehension.— Bow- s'reet, November 24. Absconded from Dnnbeath, on 31st ultimo, stealing and taking with him a dark brown tweed ulster Coat, and a silver Watch aud gilt Albert Chain: JOHN WHITESIDE, alias JOHN ROSS, who was employed as a plasterer's labourer by Mr. Annan, plasterer, of Perth and Edinburgh : he is about 22 years of age, 5 feet 10 or 11 inches high, light hair and moustache, no whiskers, full face, fresh complexion, good looking, walks erect, and it is believed that he had served either in the army or the police ; he is a native of Dundee, where he was heard of on 8th instant, at 22, Annfield- road ; a letter from him bore the Glasgow post mark of 8th instant. Information to Chief Constable Mitchell, County Buildings, Wick, Caithness.— Bow- street, November 24. Stolen on 21st instant, at Slough, Bucks : a nearly new pair of strong watertight Boots, tipped toe and heel, well nailed, and brass eyelet holes. By a man, about 35 years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, stoutly built, dark hair and whiskers, of a dirty appearance, and addicted to drink. Generally works at ga^ works where new gasometers are being fixed and acts as a riveter. Information to Mr. Super- intendent Dunham, Police Station, Slough, Bucks.— Bow- st., November 24. CORNELIUS HUNTER, advertised in the Police Gazette of 19th instant, has been apprehended at Liverpool.— Bow- street, November 24. Stolen at Dorchester, Oxon, on the morning of 21st inst., a pair of watertight Boots, tips on lieels and toes, the right one cut in the inside ; twe tin Canisters, one containing Tea and a silver Spoon, the other containing Sugar ; and a calico Handkerchief. By two men : one is about 23 or 24 years of age, 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, dark curly hair, a little whiskers; dressed in dark pilot jacket, dark cord trousers, hard felt bat, light necktie ; the other is about 22 or 23 years of age, 5 feet 3 or 4 inches high, and light hair ; dressed in a dark pilot j mket, light cord trousers, aud black billycock Information to Deputy Chief Constable Fernsby, Oxford, or to Sergeant Dyer, Police Station, Dorchester, Oxon.— Bow- street, November 24. Description of GEORGE MINCHIN, alias MARK RAYMOND, alias HENRY BYFIELD, charged on a warrant with stealing £ 33, from his mistress, on 3rd instant: 24 years of age, 5 feet inches high, light brown hair, has lower lip split from a cold, light moustache, several fingers of left hand shot off recently, and wears arm in a sling ; is a native of Dudley, and was in the 36th Regiment of Foot, in the nau^ e of Mark- Raymond; trade a blacksmith, bnt3has been leslrniAg the llair dressing, luformation to Chief Con- stable Bond, Birmingham.— Bow- street, November 24. Absconded from Hasland, charged on warrant with stealing on 19th instant : a silver English lever Watch No. 42659, maker Robinson, Chesterfield ; and a long silver Guard attached : WILLIAM JONES, blacksmith's striker or colliery labourer, about 32 years of age, 5 feet 4 or 5 inches WHITE, alias MEDHURST, 24 to 25 years of age, 5 ft. 8 nches high, fair complexion, red tace, grey eyes, ginger hair, curly, no whiskers, proportionate figure, and a labourer ; dresset in cord trousers and vest, and black felt hat. He has been a soldier in Royal Artillery, from which he has a pen- sion, talks a great deal about India, attends beer- shops frequently, and occasionally works on new railway and drainage works, and went towards London. Information to Mr. Superintendent Berry, East Grinstead, who holds a warrant for hip apprehension.- Bow- street, November 21. A- man pledged a gold Pendant in Manchester, which was stolen at Old Trafford, on 5th instant : he is tibout 20 or 22 years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, dark brown hair, fresh complexion, slight whiskers and moustache ; dressed in light grey tweed coat and vest, dark tweed overcoat, white faded muffler, and brown ribbed pot hat. He cau be identified. luformation at County Police Office, Old Trafford, Manchester.— Bow- street, November 21. Description of FRANCIS HENRY WATT, miller's clerk, for whose apprehension a warrant lias been issued, changed with having embezzled the sum of £ 6 10s., belonging to bis employer Alfred Perry Scrivener : 20 years of age, 6 feet high, slender figure, dark complexion, dark brown hair, large ears, wmall whiskers and moustache ; dressed in a suit ef dark tweed, long overcoat, and bowler liat. Informa- tion to Mr. Superintendent Denson, Aylesbury, Bucks.— Bow- street, November 19. Stolen on 17th instant, from Upcross House, Whitby, Reading, Berks : nine tea Spoons; twelve table ditto ; twelve desert ditto ; four salt ditto ; twelve large Forks; twelve small ditto; a gravy Spoon; two sauce Ladles; a butter Knife ; a pair of sugar Tongs ; a clasp fruit Knife, with mother- o'- pearl handle, all silver, with crest— lion reposing ; three plated tea Spoons; and a plate Basket.- Supposed by a man about 40 years of age, middle height; dressed in black cloth coat, aud hard black low- crowned hat. Information to the Chief Constable of Berks, Reading.— Bow- street, November 19. high, rather stout built, walks erect, dark complexion, dark brown' hair, heavy dark moustache, whiskers shaved off; dressed in dark cloth jacket, grey cloth trousers, hard black felt hat, and lace- up boots ; he has been a soldier, and is a native of London, but has lived in the neighbourhood of Chesterfield during the last 4 or 5 year*. Information to Mr. Superintendent Garline, County Police Office, Chester- field, Derbyshire.— Bow- street, November 24. GEORGE FREDERICK ROOKE, advertised in Police Gazette of 14th instant : he was seen in Hereford on 15th nstant, with all his whiskers shaved off.
