DESCRIPTION of the under- mentioned, who calls him- self Doctor Taylor, and who is wanted, on Warrant charging him with having obtained several sums of money by falsely representing that he was collecting money for an hospital at Damascus:— He is between 80 and 85 years old, 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, black hair, heavy black eyebrows, black eyes, black mous- tache, and olive complexion ; dresses generally in dark cloth frock, check trowsers, and round black hat with a feather in band, and occasionally wears a brown overcoat and tall silk hat. DESCRIPTION of a man and womkn, names unknown, who are wanted on suspicion of having stolen a cow, which they had in their possession, and offered for sale to a butcher at Bull- alley, between 4 and 5 A. M., on the 10th instant:— The man is about 45 years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, stout build, sandy hair and whiskers, chin shaved, full face, and fresh complexion; dressed in an old brown frock coat, light tweed trowsers, and soft jerry hat. The woman is 80 to 35 years of age, low size, full features, and pale complexion ; wore an old dirk straw bonnet and old light colour plaid shawl. Both ran away, leaving the cow behind, when they saw some hesitation about buying her. The cow has been claimed by Mr. Richard Graghan. of Kilmore, Coolock, and was stolen from his lands at that place. JOHN MALLON, Superintendent. Superintendent's Office, Aug. 20,1877. DESCRIPTION' of James Reynolds, wanted for stealing £ 40 from his master on 14th instant, and absconding:— He is between 17 and 18 years of age, about 5 feet 7 inches high, ruddy complexion, dark hair inclined to curl, light blue eyes, marks of boils on side of n^ ck: wore a black cloth jacket, low- crowned hat; with a strong North of Ireland accent; was a page; is a native of Whitehall, Ballymena, county Antrim, where his parents are supposed to reside. DESCRIPTION of convict Thomas Boyle ( 2490), who has broken the conditions of his licence in not re- porting himself to the Constabulary on change of residence:— Convicted at Hillsborough, county Down, at Hilary Sessions, on 7th January, 1870, for larceny after previous conviction for felony, and sentenced to 10 years' penal servitude; 35 years of age on con- viction, can read and write, is a Roman Catholic, is married and has one child, by calling a dealer, prison trade a weaver; born in Killyman, county Tyrone; he resided before conviction in Belfast; his friends reside in Belfast" ; black hair, gray eyes, black eyebrows, prominent nose, large mouth, dark com- plexion, oval visage, slender make, 5 feet 5$ inches high ; a long cut in the hair over forehead. The above- named convict was released from Lusk Prison, on the 6th September, 1877, on an order of licence to be at large, and took his discharge for Liverpool, which place he left without reporting his destination to the Constabulary, and he is suspected of having gone to his wife who lives in or near Belfast. Antrim, who stands charged with having, on 12th June, 1877, in the barony of Lower Glenarm, parish of Ardclinis, been one of two men who so seriously assaulted James Crawford that he died on the I7th inst. :— Brown eyes, thin nose, dark complexion, full face, stout make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 36 years of age; wore a soft hat, dark frock coat, dark trowsers and vest, strong Wellington boots; served in the Naval Reserve ; has the appearance of a man who has been at sea, but is a farmer. Bridge, esq., agent to Nathaniel Buckley, esq,, Galtee Castle:— Rather short neck, slightly round shoulders; brown eyes, hooked nose, fresh slightly freckled complexion, long face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 40 years of age, dark brown curly hair, sandy whiskers; wore a dark coat, cord trowsers, light vest. DESCRIPTION of Michael Waters, native of Tallons- town, county Louth, who stands charged with having, on the 5th day of October, 1877, in the barony of Newry, parish of Newry, seriously assaulted his wife, Catherine Waters, thereby endangering her life :— Leans forward when walking; gray eyes, regular nose, dark complexion, thin face, medium make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 40 years of age, dark gray hair, small black beard and whiskers; wore an old straw hat, brown cloth coat, and moleskin trowsers ; there were marks of blood on his clothes, and the thumb of right hand was severely bitten by the woman in the struggle; is a labourer. D. " on left side; a large mole on left arm between eib6w and shoulder. The above- named conviet was released from Spike Island Prison, on an order of licence, on the 3rd of July, 1877. His father is dead; his stepfather, Denis O'Callaghan, resides at same place. The school dress, all with Reformatory stamp, con- sists of corduroy jacket and trowsers, Scotch cap, strong nailed boots. DESCRIPTION of Michael Reilly, native of Clara, county Cavan, and John Rudden, native of Drum- condra, county Cavan, who stand charged with having, on the 29th March, 1877, in the barony of Dartrae, parish of Currin, been of a party ( two of whom are in custody) who assaulted Patrick Brides, of Knox, at Corrackan, and inflicted wounds on him from which he has since died :— 1. The special attention of the Constabulary is directed to the following: DESCRIPTION of Thomas Hunt, ( mother's surname Quigley,) native of Knockgranagh, who stands charged with having, on the 29th November, ult., in the barony of Leyny, parish of Achonry. murdered John M'Gloin, by fracturing his skull with a large stone :— Down- looking appearance, two upper front teeth large and prominent, high cheek bones, large heavy lips, sunken jaws, very broad shoulders; it is alto stated that Hunt's left wrist is tattooed; glaring black eyes, slightly cocked nose, sallow complexion, oval face, stout make, 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, about 27 or 28, years of age, bluck hair, small dark moustache ; wore a dark cloth coat, trowsers, and vest. Was in America, and lately returned from England', where he worked as a labourer. Has a pair of English- made navvy boots with iron plates under toes, also a pair of light Wellington boots.
