DESCRIPTION of a man and woman, names unknown, who are wanted on suspicion of having stolen a cow, which they had in their possession, and offered for sale to a butcher at Bull- alley, between 4 and 5 A. M., on tho 10th instant:— The man is about 45 years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, stout build sahdy hair and whiskers, chin shaved, full face, and fresh complexion ; dressed in an old brown frock coat, light tweed trowsers, and soft jerry hat. The woman is 80 to 35 years of age, low size, full features, and pale complexion ; wore an old dark straw bonnet and old light colour plaid shawl. Both ran away, leaving the cow behind, when they saw some hesitation about buying her. DESCRIPTION of James Reynolds, wanted for stealing £ 40 from his master on 14th instant, and flAsconding:— Flo is between 17 and 18 years of ago. about 5 feet 7 inches high, ruddy complexion, dark hair inclined to curl, light blue eyes, marks of boils on side of neck ; wore a black cloth jacket, low- crowned hat; speaks with a strong North of Ireland accent; was a page; is a native of Whitehall, Ballymena, county Antrim, where is parents are supposed to reside. DESCRIPTION of a marc, at present in possession of tho Police at Chancery- lane Police Station, and which is supposed to have been stolen:— A bay mare, white star on forehead, and whito over fetlocks of hind legs, white spot under straddle, aged, uud in poor condition. DESCRIPTION of the under- named young offender, who, on the 10th August, 1877, absconded from the Malone Reformatory School, at Belfast, f Robert Williamson, 10 years of age, light brown hair, blue eyes, sharp nose, full mouth, fresh com- plexion, sharp visage, slight make, 5 feet 2 inches high; pockpitted; mole below left breast; is a gardener; formerly belonged to Strandtown, Belfast, parents reside at same place. Dress worn by juvenile when he absconded:— Gray tweed jacket, moleskin trowsers and vest, white shirt, red checked necktie, woollen socks, and nailed boots. Believed to be working on a farm in county Down. Antrim, who stands charged with having, on 12th June, 1877, in the barony of Lower Glenarm, parish of Ardclinis, been one of two men who so seriously assaulted James Crawford that he died on the 17th inst. :— Brown eYes, thin nose, dark complexion, full face, stout make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 36 years of age; wore a soft hat, dark frock coat, dark trowsers and vest, strong Wellington boots; served in the Naval Reserve ; has the appearance of a man who has been at sea, but is a farmer. DESCRIPTION of Bernard Gormley ( mother's sur- name Hanley), native of Tarmon, who stands charged with having, on the 15tli August, 1877, in tlie barony of Castlerahan, parish of Lurgan, seriously assaulted Owen Lynch, by striking him several blows on the head with a stick :— Bed freckled face, down- looking; gray eyes, regular nose, red complexion, full face, stout square make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 30 yeaTS of age, sandy hair and moustache ; wore a soft black liat, dark tweed coat, dark trowsers and vest; is a farmer's son. R., who stands charged with having, on the 22nd March, 1876, in the barony of Coshlca, parish of Kilbeheny, fired at Patten S. DESCRIPTION of 2 persons, names and native places unknown, who stand charged with having, on the' 30th March, 1870, in the barony of Condons and Clangibbon, parish of Mitchelstown, been two of a party who fired at and wounded Patten Bridge, esq., and Constable Mathew Nugent, and shot John Hyland dead at same time and place :— 1. Unknown— Fair complexion, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 35 years of age, sandy whiskers nearly meeting under the chin; wore a cloth frock coat; had his face blackened. 2. Head Constable John O'Connors, of the Royal Irish Constabulary, was fired , at and grievously wounded by some persons at present unknown, whilst returning from Dalgan to Dunmore, in the country Of Galway: His Grace, for tho better apprehending ' and bringing to justico the perpetrators of this outrage, is pleased heroby to offer a reward of ONE. DESCRIPTION of Robert Walsh, native of Killinane, who stands charged with having, on the 1st Sep- tember, J & 77, in the barony of Coshlea, parish of Galbalty, committed rapo on Sarah Moroney, of Keelogues -.-^ Bow- legged, and turns in his toes ' when walking; blue or gray eves, thick drooped nose, fresh complexion, round full face,; very stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about- 27 years Of age, light bit- own hair; wore a furry cap, dark tweed coat, trowsers and vest ; is a farmer's son. DESCRIPTION of convict Thomas Riordan ( 24731, who has broken the conditions of his licence in not reporting himself to the Constabulary on change of residence:— Convicted in Limerick, at Hilary Sessions, on 25th January, 1878, for assault and sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude; 20 years of age op conviction, can read and write, is a Roman Catholic, single, is a labourer; born in Oola, county Limerick, where he resided before conviction; his friends reside at same place; brown hair, gray eyes, brown eyebrows, regular nose, regular mouth, fair complexion, round visage, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high; a slight cut on front of forehead ; a lar<* e cut- mark on front Of right hand. The above- named convict was released from Lusk Prison, 18th February, 1877, on an order of licence to be at large, and took his discharge for Oola county Limerick, where he reported himself to the Constabulary. He left Oola without reporting himself, but Sent a letter to the Constabulary there , on the 24th Jnty, 1877, bearing Knocklong post- mark. Relatives: believe he went near Emly, county I lpperary, but it is reputed" he may have left for America; present whereabouts is unknown. DESCRIPTION of Michael Reilly, native of Clara, county cavan, and John Rudden, native of Drum- condra, county Cavan, who Stan 4 charged with having, on the 29th March, 1877, in the barony of Dartree, parish of Currin, been of a party ( two of whom are in custody) who assaulted Patrick Brides, of Knox, at Corrackan, and inflicted wounds on him from which he has since died :— 1.
