INFORMATIONS Twyford and Hare Hatch, about 9pm. on 281b. instant: about ,£ 16 in Gold and Silver; a gold ltvir Watch, No. 14281, open- face, white dial, maker's name ' Bennett, Cheapside,' on the dial; a 15- carat gold albert Chain, with long links connected by short twisted links, a gold Locket attached, plain one side, and horseshoe on the othe- ; a silver fusee Box, monogram on top with initials ' C. W. P.' ; a plain gold diamond Ring with three stones ; a gold Ring with corals and pearls ; and a bunch of Keys. By a man, 28 or 29 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, square build, light grey eyes, fair small moustache, and no whiskers ; dressed in dark blue long loose overcoat, dark trousers, blue and white cross necktie with sailor's knot, and soft black billycock hat, turned up at sides. Mr. Coppin and the above man left Reading for a drive in a pony and trap, with which after the robbery the man made off towards London. Ha assaulted Mr. Coppin, and threatened to blow his brains out, and he is supposed to be the same man as advertised in the Police Gazette of the 24th instant as having committed a similar robbery at Burbage, Leicestershire. The pony and trap has been found at Maidenhead, the man leaving it thero the same night and taking a fly to Slough. WILLIAM WOODS, a spinner, 33 years of age, 5 ft. 5 1 inches high, fresh complexion, sandy hair, grey eyes, ' W. S. W.' j on left arm, and scar right side of neck; was bailed for trial I for unlawfully wounding and absconding, and a bench warrant j is issued for his apprehension. Atl- 30a. ni, 6 th instant, the body of PATRICK EARLY,! 76 years of age, late of 15, Garden- row, Mortlake, Surrey, was found in a market garden, at Mortlake, with his throat j cut, and other marks of violence : at the coronera inquest, a ! verdict of ' Wilful Murder' was returned against soma person or persona unknown. £ 100 reward will bs paid by Her Majesty's Government, to any person ( other than a person belonging to a police force in the United Kingdom) who shall give such information and evidence as shall lead to the discovery and conviction of the muderer cr murderers, and the Secretary of State for the Home Department will advise the grant of Her Majesty's Most Gracious Pardon to any accomplice ( not being the person who actually committed the murder) who shall give such evidence as shall lead to a like result. Between 9 a. m. and 7 p in. on 30th ultimo, the dwelling- bouse of Henry Faulkener, of High Fields, in the parish of Edstaston, was broken and enteied, and stolen therein : a pair of watertight Boots, nearly new, brats eyelet- holes half way up, hooks to the top, two rows of nails round outside, and three up the centre, and tips on the heels; a pair of woollen Stockings, white toes and tops ; and a red pocket Handkerchief. Suppos- ed by a man about 30 years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, black hair, whiskers, and mous- tache, inclined to be enfly ; dressed in low hard hat, silk neckerchief, of different colours, very old dark grey coat and vest, old black cloth trousers, and Lancashire cioga; he went in the direction of Ellesmere and Oswestry, on the evening of 30th ultimo. Between 10 a. m. and 5 p. m. on 28th instant, the dwelling- house of Thomas Harrison, of Pikes End. parish of Ellesmere, was broken acid entered, and stolen therein : a pair of twill cloth Trousers and Vest; a brown cloth top Coat; a black cloth round Jacket, pockets on hips ; a double breasted black cbth Vest ; a purple cloth frock Coat; and a calico Shirt. Supposed by a man about 30 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, black hair and whiskers ; dressed in a dark velvet jacket, cord trousers, and black jimcrow hat. Dobin : a dark brown Horse, 15 hands 1 inch high, white star on forehead,, hair scanty on tail, 5 years old, short legs, thick set, and in good condition. The Mare stolen from Normanton ( advertised in Police Gazette of 31st ultimo), has been found disposed of at Bedlam, near Solihull, Warwickshire. Found at Barton Stacey, on. 22ad instant, and supposed to have been stolen : two wether Sheep Information to be given to Mr. Superintendent Bennett, Hants Constabulary, Andover. — Bote-** est, August 31 dirk hair, no whiskers, thin black moustache and imperial, email black eyes, high cheek tKMes, speaks the Newcastle dialect; dresses generally in black shooting coat, and vest, grey trousers, and latterly wore a high white hat. Stolen on 4th instant, from the parish of Corby, the property of John Dixon, gamekeeper : two double- barrelled muzzle loading Guns, one has lately been repaired, barred looks, name o£ ' Clarke' engraved oa tbero, ordinary twist barrels, * a'uut stock, new ramrod, small knot on light side of stock near haoimer, was in moleskin coloured case ; the other has been repaired on the stock, where the ramrod goes dowo, witr a piece of sifter. By two navvies, one of whom is in custody, the other absconded : he is about 5 feet 10 ins. high, and dressed in a Jong dark coat, dark trousers, and black billycock hat. He is a tramping shoemaker. By a man, from 30 to 40 years of age, 5 feet 6 to 8 inehes high, fair or fresh complexion, large nose, light hair, s- mall light- coloured whiskers ; dressed in drab slop or jacket; white'slop ucd? r- neath, printed moleskin ( causers, blue a: d white stripe summer hat, and old light boots. Absconded from Birmingham, on £ 9th ultimo, charged on a warrant with stealing a Cheque for ,£ 12 8s. 6d., the property of his employer Mrs. Logan, 117£ Broad- street, which cheque he cashed at the Birmingham Bank the same day: THOMAS DALLY, a sign writer, 21 years of age, 5 feat inches higb, dark curly hair, dark complexion, short sighted, little moustache, tattooed on arms and different parts of the body ; dressed in daik clothes, and hard black billycock hat. Ha will probably be found seeking employ- ment at theatres, posting bills, or at his trade. Information to be given to Major Bond, Chief of Polica, Birmingham, Warwickshire.— Bowstreet, September 3, Description of HENRY BARRON, charged in Hull with larceny : he is 36 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches higb, stiff build, full round face, moustache and whiskers shaved off. full blue eyes. He was a shipping clerk, and will probably seek similar employment. Information to be given to Chief Constable Cook, Hull, Yoikshire.— Row- sweet, S ptembttr 3. Absconded from Hexham, on 29th ultimo, charged with stealing 19 - Shirts. 3 Collars, 1 Vest, 1 pair of Drawers, 22 pairs of Socks, and 10 Pocket Handkerchiefs ( recovered), the property of his late master, W. S. Hunter, Esq, Saudhoe : JAMES W. AVERY, a servant, about 24 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches high, fair complexion, squints with both eyes, but more so with the right one which looks up, brown hair, no • whiskers or moustache ; dressed in light grey tweed suit, ai d black hard felt hat; has a smart appearance. He was employed l* st winter in some livery stables in Newcastle- on- Tyne, and afterwards in the Northern Counties Club, Newcastle, as attendant, and fcaa a relative living at Alfred- street, Gateshead. £ I rewaid will be paid for the <; pprehen- sion of Avery, or such information as shall lead thereto, on application to Mr. Superintendent Stephenson, Hexham, Northumberland, who holds a warrant for his apprehension, — Bow- street, September 3. Stolen on 30th ultimo, in Crewe : a dark green carriage Umbrella, and a lady's brown silk Umbrella, white handle, crossed hands By a man aud woman who travel about the country repairing umbrellas, the nun about 5 feet 3 inches high, very much pockpitted, light brown hair, and wore a cap with peak over his eyes. The woman is short and stout, and wore a dirty white shawl and black bonnet. Information to be given to Mr, Superintendent Saxton, Nantwich, or to Inspector Morris, Police Station, Crewe, Cheshire,— Bow- s', reet, September 3, Stolen from Middlesbrough, on 27th instant : " a quantity of Tallow ( recovered) By a young man, a carter, 18 yearsof age, 5 feet 7 inches higb, slender made, fresh complexion; dressed in velvet coat, curduroy trousers, cloth cap, and clogs.
