DUBLIN, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 1877. ENGLISH POLICE. £ 10 REWARD. ABSCONDED from Newcastle- on- Tyne, on the 29th ' inst., charged with stealing the sum of £ 396 11 » . 6d,, the moneys of his employers— William Marshall Hamilton, a clerk, 25 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, slight build, dark hair, no whiskers, thin black moustache and imperial, small black eyes, high • cheekbones, speaks tho Newcastle dialect; dresses generally in black shooting coat and vest, gray trow- sors, and latterly wore a pot- shaped white hat. It is believed he will endeavour to leave the coun- try. Police officers aro therefore earnestly requested to carefully watch and warn all outward- bound vessels, and, if found, to apprehend him, and communicate by telegram with the Chief Constable, Newcastle- on- ' Tjme, who holds a Warrant. Tho above reward will be paid to any person who • sliaJl give such information as will lead to his appre- hension. Detective Department, Newcastle- on- Tyne, 30th August, 1877. DESCRIPTION of Mary Ellen Morrissey, alias Ellen Tobin, who stands committed to next Wigan Quarter Sessions, for attempting to pick pockets:— 50 years iOf age, 5 feet inches high, fresh complexion, gray- eyes, dark brown hair turning gray, proportionate build, education nil, is a Roman Catholic, has several cuts on forehead and cut on nose; she has been . sentenced to 6 months at Lambeth, for larceny from • the person, also 7 days for vagrancy, at Kirkdale Gaol. It is strohgly suspected that she has been convicted on several other occasions, and also wanted at other places. Please cause special inquiry and communicate with George Williams, Chief Constable, Wigan. ' Chief Constable ' s Office, Wigan, August 27, 1877. DUBLIN METROPOLITAN POLICE. G Division. DESCRIPTION of a man and woman, names unknown, who are wanted on suspicion of having stolen a cow, which they had ill their possession, and offered lor salo to a butcher at Bull- alley, between 4 and 5 A. M., on the 10th instant:— Tho man is about 45 years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, stout build, sandy hair and whiskers, chin shaved, full facc, and fresh complexion ; dressed in an old brown frock coat, light tweed trowsers, and soft jerry'hat. Tho woman is 30 to 35 years of age, low size, full features, and pale complexion ; wore an old dark straw bonnet and old light colour plaid shawl. Both ran away, leaving the cow behind, when they saw some hesitation about buying her. The cow has been claimed by Mr. Richard Graghan. of Kilmore, Coolock, and was stolen from his lands at that place. JOHN MALLON, Superintendent. Superintendent's Office, Aug. 20, 1877. DESCRIPTION of James Reynolds, wanted for stealing £ 40 from his master on 14th instant, and absconding:— He is between 17 and 18 years of age, about 5 feet 7 inches high, ruddy complexion, dark hair inclined to curl, light blue eyes, marks of boils on side of neck ; wore a black cloth jacket, low- crowned hat; speaks with a strong North of Ireland accent; was a page; is a native of Whitehall, Ballymena, county Antrim, where is parents are ^ supposed to reside. Information to the Superintendent, Detective Department, Dublin, who holds a Warrant for his arrest. Superintendent's Office, May 15, 1877. DESCRIPTION of a mare, at present in possession of the Police at Chancery- lane Police Station, and which is supposed to have been stolen:— A bay mare, white star on forehead, and white over fetlocks of hind legs, white spot unijer straddle, aged, and in poor condition. The mare was attached to a stolen dray on 28th ult., and in possession of a man who made his escape from the owner of the latter. Superintendent's Office, Au^ ast 2, 1877. DESCRIPTION of the under- named young offender, who, on the 10th August, 1877, absconded from the Malone Reformatory School, at Belfast. Robert Williamson, 16 years of age, light brown hair, blue eyes, sharp nose, full mouth, fresh com- plexion, sharp visage, slight make, 5 feet 2 inches high; pockpitted; mole below left breast; is a gardener; formerly belonged to Strandtown, Belfast; parents reside at same place. Dress worn by juvenile when he absconded:— Gray tweed jacket, moleskin trowsers and vest, white shirt, red checked necktie, woollen socks, and nailed boots. Believed to be working on a farm in county Down. The Manager of the Reformatory will defray the expense of his conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice, on remand, and will reward the person who may capture him with £ 1. ( 11311 M.— 18410.) DESCRIPTION of John O'Neill, alias Fanny, native of co. Antrim, who stands charged with having, on 12th June, 1877, in the barony of Lower Glenarm, parish of Ardclinis, been one of two men who so seriously assaulted James Crawford that he died on the 17th inst. :— Brown eyes, thin nose, dark complexion, full face, stout make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 36 years of age; wore a soft hat, dark frock coat, dark trowsers and vest, strong Wellington boots ; served in the Naval Reserve ; has the appearance of a man who has been at sea, but is a farmer. DESCRIPTION of Edward Hughes, native of Belfast, who stands charged with having, on the 1st August, 1877, in the barony of Upper Belfast, parish of Shankill, failed to report himself to the Constabulary at Hercules- street, on change of residence, he being under Police supervision :— Gut- mark on point of chin ; gray eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet 2 inches high, about 33 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a low black hat, light tweed coat, dark tweed trowsers and vest; is a cutter. DESCRIPTION of Bernard Gormley ( mother's sur- name Hanley), native of Tarmon, who stands charged with having, on the 15th August, 1877, in the barony of Castlerahan, parish of Lurgan, seriously assaulted Owen Lynch, by striking him several blows on the head with a stick :— Red freckled face, down- looking; gray eyes, regular nose, red complexion, full face, stout square make, 5 feet 10 inches h'gh, about 30 years of age, sandy hair and moustache; wore a soft black hat, dark tweed coat, dark trowsers and vest; is a farmers son. The special attention of the Constabulary is directed to the following: DESCRIPTION of John Ryan, native of Cooladerry, county Cork, E. R., who stands charged with having, on the 22nd March, 1875, in the barony of Coshlea, parish of Kilbeheny, fired at Patten S. Bridge, esq., agent to Nathaniel Buckley, esq., Galtee Castle:— Rather short neck, slightly round shoulders; brown eye's, hooked nose, fresh slightly freckled complexion, long face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 40 years of age, dark brown curly hair, sandy whiskers; wore a dark coat, cord trowsers, light vest. Mitchelstown, March 24, 1S75. ( 5182 c.— 9507.) DESCRIPTION of 2 persons, names and native places unknown, who stand charged with having, on the 30th March, 1876, in the barony of Condons and Clangibbon, parish of Mitchelstown, been two of a party who fired at and wounded Patten Bridge, esq., and Constable Mathew Nugent, and shot John Hyland dead at same time and place:— 1. Unknown— Fair complexion, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 35 years of age, sandy whiskers nearly meeting under the chin; wore a cloth frock coat; had his face blackened. 2. Unknown— Fair complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 35 years of age, large sandy whiskers; wore a soft hat, faded cloth coat. Mitchelstown, April 5, 1876. DESCRIPTION of a woman, name and native place unknown, will probably call herself Mary Goodman, who stands charged with having, on the 25th June, 1877, in the barony of East Division of West Car- bery, parish of Creagh, obtained money under false pretences :— Very heavy eyelids, regular nose, fair complexion, thin face, medium make, 5 feet 3 inches high, about 22 years of age, black hair curling over shoulders; wore a black hat, black dress trimmed with green, black jacket trimmed with sealskin. DESCRIPTION of a watch, the property of Sarah Newsom, which was stolen from her dwelling- house,- on the townland of Ballyloughlin, parish of Maghera, barony of Iveagh Upper, on the night of the 26th August, 1877 :— A gold Geneva watch, value £ 6, f- eapped, No. 14,262, no maker's name, gold dial, steel hands, case chased fern pattern; long black bead chain and 2 brass keys attached. DESCRIPTION of a watch and chain, the property of Mr. John Wilson, of Newry, which were stolon from him on the Maze Racecourse, parish of Blaris, barony of Lower Iveagh, on the 26th day of July, 1877 :— Gold hunting watch, with centre seconds hand, three- quarter plate, dial cracked— maker's name, James Duncan, Londonderry; heavy gold Albert chain, with long, link, hall mark on each link, 18 carat; value for £ 20. DESCRIPTION of James Reilly ( mother's surname Reilly), native of Firhouse, who stands charged with having, on the 5th August, 1877, at Knocklyon, in the barony of Uppercross, parish of Tallaght, criminally assaulted a girl 11 years of age:— Brown eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, long face, high cheek bones, medium make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 19 or 20 years of age, fair bair; wore a soft brown hat, dark coat and vest, laced Blucher boots ; sullen in manners; is a blacksmith. DESCRIPTION of Joseph Read ( mother's surname Brannagan), native of Tillytown, who stands charged with having, on the 25th day of July, 1877, at Shan- ganagh, in the barony of Rathdown, parish of Rath- michael, stolen a silver Geneva watch, value £ 2, and who having been bailed to appear at Petty Sessions to answer the charge, failed to do so:— A small sear on right side of mouth ; brown eyes, regular nose, dark cqmplexion, round full face, stout make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, about 24 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a black coat, dark tweed trowsers and vest ; is a groom. A Warrant lor his arrest is in the hands of the Constabulary at Tillytown. Dundrum, August 0, 1877." DUBLIN CASTLE, 23rd August, 1877. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that, about the hour of a quarter past nine o'clock, on the evening of the 8th instant. Head Constable John O'Connors, of the Royal Irish Constabulary, was fired at and grievously wounded by some persons at present unknown, whilst icturning from Dalgan to Dunmore, in the county of Galway: His Grace, for the better apprehending and bringing to justico the perpetrators of this outrage, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall load to the arrest of the person or persons who committed the same, and a reward of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS for such private information as will lead to the same result By His Grace's command, T. H. BURKE. The above rewards will be paid, on conviction, by A. F. Ball, esq., the Resident Magistrate at Tuam, to those who may become entitled to them under the conditions of this Proclamation. DESCRIPTION of John Brett, who stands charged with having, on the 2nd September, 1877, murdered his brother James Brett:-— Face recently shaved; large gray eyes, long nose, fresh complexion, long face, stout make, 6 feet high, about 30 years of age, dark hair; wore a dark coat, brown tweed trowsers and vest; he is a labourer, and is* good- looking. DESCRIPTION of a cow, the property of Bridget Ryan, which was stolen from the lands of Brambles- town, parish of Dungarvan, barony of Gowran, on the night of 27th August, 1877 ;— A new milch cow, between 8 and 9 years old, yellow colour, a white stripe along the back, horns turned in, right one sawed off and shell off the other, in good condition, and value for £ 10. DESCRIPTION of George Kerr, native of Edinburgh, who stands charged with having, on the Oth August, 1877, in the barony of Kilkenny, parish of St. John, deserted, stealing from the quarters of Lieut. Robert Brady, R. A., a £ 5 and 4 £ 1 notes from a drawer, also a suit of dark tweed clothes:— Blue eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet inches high, about 23 years of age, brown hair; wore a dark tweed coat, tweed trowsers and vest; is a gunner in the Royal Artillery and officer's servant, also French polisher. Leitrim. DESCRIPTION of a heifer, the property of Daniel Donnelly, which was stolen from the lands of Gor- teenoran, parish of Cloone, barony of Mohill, on the night of 25th or morning of 26th August, 1877:— Deep yellow colour, white face, white stripe on right hip, and a little white on tail, cocked horns, one of them a little higher than the other, wart on nose and another on right side of jaw, rising 2 years eld, and value for £ 7 10*. Mohill, August 31, 1877. ( 14204 c.— 25148.) Francis M'Kernan ( harbouring a felon) not ar- rested; Hue- and- Cry, 8th June, 1877. Limerick. DESCRIPTION of convict Thomas Riordan ( 2173), who has broken the conditions of his licence in not reporting himself to the Constabulary on change of residence:— Convicted in Limerick, at Hilary Sessions, on 25th January, 1873, for assault and • sentenced to 5 years' penal servitude ; 20 years of age on conviction, can read and write, is a Roman Catholic, single, is a labourer; born in Oola, county Limerick, where he resided before conviction; his friends reside at same place; brown hair, gray eyes, brown eyebrows, regular nose, regular mouth, fair complexion, round visage, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high; a slight cut on front of forehead; a large cut- mark on front of right hand. The above- named convict was released from Lusk Prison, 13tli February, 1877, on an order of licence to be at large, and took his discharge for Oola, county Limerick, where he reported himself to the Constabulary. He left Oola without reporting himself, but sent a letter to the Constabulary there on the 24th July, 1877, bearing knocklong post- mark. Relatives believe he went near Emly, county Tipperary, but it is reported he may have left for America; present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest, he should be dealt with under the 5th section of the Prevention of Crimes Act, 84 and 85 Vic., chap. 112. Government Prisons Office, Dublin Castle, July 30, 1877. DESCRIPTION of Jeremiah Coushen or Cousin, native of Illaunmeen, county Tipperary, who stands charged with having, on tho 23rd May, 1877, in the barony of Coshlea, parish of Galbally, seriously assaulted Edward M'Grath, game- keeper to Li^^ Colonel Massy :— Gray eyes, regular nose, fair cfP » plexion, freckled face, stout make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 25 years of age, fair hair, light moustache; wore a hard round black hat, coarse dark tweed coat, dark tweed trowsers and vest; is a labourer. Kilfinane, July 23, 1877. ( 13119 c.— 28356.) DESCRIPTION of John Grady ( mother's surname Mary Cleary), native of Ardkilmartin, who stands charged with having, on the 10th July, 1877, in the barony of Liberties of Kilmallock, parish of Saint Peter and Paul, committed an indecent assault:— Very brown eyes, long thin nose, sallow complexion, long thin face, medium make, 5 feet 8^ inches high, about 26 years of age, dark brown hair, has small black whiskers, and shaves his chin, wore a jerry hat, blue frieze coat, cord trowsers, dark tweed vest; is a labourer. Two unknown persons ( malicious injury) not arrested; Hue- and- Cry, 23rd March, 1877. Londonderry. DESCRIPTION of James M'Fadden, native of county of Londonderry, who stands charged with having, on the 18th day of August, 1877, in the barony of Lower Liberties, parish of Templemore, assaulted William Lowry by striking him on the head with a hoe, which fractured his skull:— Smart active appear- ance, rather good- looking ; full blue eyes, regular nose, dark complexion, regular facet slight make, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, about 19 years of age, dark hair, small dark moustache; wore a billycock hat, dark coat, trowsers and vest; served in the Donegal Militia; is a labourer. Londonderry, Aug. 22,1877. ( U091 c.-~ 24990.) DESCRIPTION of John Connell, native of . Kilhoyle, who stands charged with having, on the 24th day of May, 1877, in the barony of Keenaglit, parish of Balteagh, assaulted Henry Kelly, junior, of Kilhoyle, i by striking him on the head with a stone and kicking ; him on tho body, from the effects of which ho died • on the 10th inst.:— Old cut- marks on face; bluo | eyes, regular nose, florid complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 37 years of age, red hair; wore a soft round hat, it is supposed dark tweed coat, dark trowsers and vest. A Warrant is in the hands of the. Constabulary at Limavady for his arrest. Limavady, June 12, 1877. ( 13177 c.— 23658. Arthur Meenan ( assault by stabbing) not arrested } Hue- and- Cry, 8th June, 1877. Longford. James Cassidy ( serious assault) not arrested; Hue- and- Cry, 23rd March, 1877. Louth. DESOEIPTION of a man, name unknown, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 2nd August, 1877, in the barony of Ardee, parish of Mapastown, stolen a ewe and 2 lambs, which he sold in the fair of Crossmaglen, on the 3rd August, 1877 ; the three animals have been since recovered :— Dark complexion, low set make, 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, about 35 years of age, brown hair and moustache; wore a low dark hat, bright tweed coat, tweed trowsers and vest; carried a large dark frieze overcoat across his arm. DESCRIPTION of Thomas Ruddy, native of Foxford, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 2? th July, 1877, at Aghamore, in the barony of ; Costello parish of Aghamore, forced an cntifince into Michael Waldron's dwelling- house, assaulted his wife, and demanded money:— Gray eyes, regular nose, freckled complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 45 years of age, brown hair, sandy whiskers ; wore a red necktie, an oW. dark tweed coat— small piece torn off the cuff 2£ inchfcs by 1 inch— dark cord trowsers, black frieze vest, strong good laced boots; " is a ragman and low butcher. DESCRIPTION of Patt Ruane, native of Glencullen Lower, parish of Kilcommpn, barony of Erris, who. stands charged with having, on tho 19th instant, assaulted John Shevlan, of same place, from, the, effects of which he died on the ^ lst inst.:— Has a heavy gait of walking; gray eyes, regular nose, very fair complexion, round face, very stout make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 33 years of age, fair hair, no. beard or moustache; wears a soft low hat, dark friezes coat, and corduroy trowsers. The 3 persons, names and native places unknown, ( firing at the person,. & c.,) not arrested ; Hue- and- Pry, 17th July, 1877. Monaghan, DESCRIPTION of Michael Reilly, native of Clara, county Cavan, and John Rudden, native of Drum- condra, county Cavan, who stand charged with having, on the 29th March, 1877, in the barony of Dartree, parish of Currin, been of a party ( two of whom are in custody) who assaulted Patrick Brides, of Knox, at Corrackan, and inflicted wounds on him from which he has since died :— 1. Michael Reilly— Holds down his head when walking, and has a slouching gait; gray eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, thin face, medium make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 40 years of age, dark hair; wore a jerry hat, dark coat, cord trowsers, dark vest; is a small farmer. 2. John Rudden— Face all shaved; gray eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, regular face, stout make, 5 feet 0 inches high, about 30 years of age, fair hair; wore alow hat, dark coat, cord trowsers; is a small farmer. DUBLIN CASTLE, 10th August, 1877. WHEREAS it has been represented to tho Lord Lieutenant, that, about the hour of 1 o'clock, P. M., on tho 2nd June last, James Young, esq., J. P., was found dead on the avenue of his residence, at Harristown, near Castlerea, having been murdered by some person or persons at present unknown : And whereas Their Excellencies the Lords Justices have, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of the said murder, offered a reward of FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the 11th Juno last, give such informa- tion as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who committed the said murder; and a reward of x ONE HUNDRED POUNDS for such private information as shall lead to the same result: His Grace is also pleased to offer a FREE PARDON to any person concerned in the said crime-, other than the person who actually committed the murdfer, who shall give such evidence as will lead to the conviction of the persons concerned with him in the crime. By His Grace's command, T. H. BURKE. Tho above rewards will be paid, on conviction, by F. dward Wynne, esq., the Resident Magistrate at Castlerea, to these who may become entitled to them under the conditions above mentioned. The special attention of the Constabulary is directed to the following: DESCKIPTION of Thomas Hunt, ( mother's surname Quigley,) native of Knockgranagh, who stands charged with having, on the 29th November, lilt., in the barony of Leyny, parish of Achonry, murdered John M'Gloin, by fracturing - his skull with a large stone :— Down- looking appearance, two upper front teeth large and prominent, high cheek bones, large heavy lips, sunken jaws, very broad shoulders ; glaring black eyes, slightly copked nose, sallow complexion, oval face, . stout make, 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, about 27 or 28 years of age, black liair, small dark moustache ; wore a dark cloth coat, trowsers, and vest. Was in America, and lately returned from England, where he worked as a labourer. Has a pair of English- made navvy boots with iron plates under toes, also a pair of light Wellington boots. DESCRIPTION of Jeremiah Keefe, native of Glengar, county Tipperary, who stands chai'ged with having, on the 14th August, 1877, in the barony of Kilnama- nagh Upper, parish of Doon, assaulted Michael Kelly, of Curraghmarkey, by striking llim on the head with a fork so as to endanger bis life by frac- turing his skullSlovenly gait, turns out his toes; short neck, small blue eyes, slightly cocked nose, fair complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 30 years of age, fair hair, sandy whiskers nearly meeting under chin ; wore a soft round hat, old frieze frock coat, dark tweed trowsers and vest. DESCRIPTION of Jeremiah Boddy, native of Cap- pauniac, who stands charged with having, on the 3- Qth July, 1877, in the barony of Clanwilliam, parish of Templeneiry, burglariously attempted to enter Ballydairid Police Barrack, liis face being blackened:— Large flat feet; vulgar and awkward appearance ; gray eyes, thick nose, fresh complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 30 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a dark tweed coat, corduroy trowsers, gray tweed vest; is a farmer. DESCRIPTION of Morty Gleeson, native of Bally- hiskea, and James Egan, native of Knockmore, who stand charged with having, on the 29tli of May, 1877, in the barony of Lower Ormond, parish of Nenagh ( town of Nenagh), seriously assaulted John Dwyer, of Carrigatoher, inflicting a bad fracture of the skull, from the effects of which he died :— 1. Morty Gleeson— Brown eye's, cocked nose, sallow complexion, pale lace, stout make, 5 feet inches high, about 50 years of a^ e, black hair; wore a jerry hat, frieze coat, corduroy trowsers, tweed vest; is a farmer and cattle dealer. 2. James Egan— Brown eyes, straight nose, fresh complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 24 years of age, brown liair ; wore a round hat, frieze coat, cord trowsers, tweed vest; is a farmer. DESCRIPTION of Patrick Donaghey, native of Laughmacroy, who stands charged with having, on tho 26th' August, 1877, attempted to commit rape, j in the barony of East Omagh, parish of Termon- magurk:— Gray eyes, regular nose, fresh com- plexion, full' face, stout make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 20 years ot age, dark brown hair; wore a gray tweed, coat, trowsers and vest; is a bricklayer, and worked in Belfast and Portadown. DESCRIPTION of James Stafford, ( mother's name Mary Stafford), native of Adamstown, county of Wexford, who stands charged with having, on the 25th July, 1877, in the barony of Bantry, parish of Adamstown. maliciously burned the dwelling- bouse of his father, Peter Stafford :— Eas a hollow spot on left side of his head from an old wound ; belongs to Wexford Militia; blue eyes, cocked nose, pale complexion, thin face, slight make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 36 years of age, brown hair ; wore a jerry hat, dark tweed coat and trowsers, tweed vest; is a shoemaker. DESCRIPTION of the under- named young offender, who, on the 2nd September, 1877, absconded from the St. Kevin's Reformatory School, at Glencree :— James Carroll, 1308, about 19 years of age, 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, strong make, sallow complexion, dark brown hair, brown eyes, ordinary nose, large mouth, very thick lips, round Visage; formerly belonged to Wexford; his father frequents the Wexford workhouse. The school dress, all with Reformatory stamp, consists of— corduroy trowsers and vest, blue serge coat, leather belt, blue serge cap ( French make), strong boots. This boy formerly worked with different farmers about Wexford, but may now seek employment as a shoemaker, as he has a good knowledge of that trade. The Manager of the Reformatory will defray the expense of his conveyance, if arrested,' to the nearest Justice, on remand, and will reward the person who may capture him with £ 1. ( 11347 M.— 18451.) DESCRIPTION of John M'Donnell, native place unknown, who stands charged with having, on the 30tli July, 1877, in the barony of Ballinacor North, parish of Derrylossary, stolen 7 sheep from the mountain of Seven Churches :— Sallow complexion, thin face, 5 feet high, about 18 years of age; wore an old tweed coat, cord trowsers ; is a labourer.
