DESCRIPTION of Peter M'Keown, naiivs of crumilly, who stands charged with having, on the 19th Febru- ary, 1877, in the barony of Upper Orior, parish of Killeavy, seriously assaulted Patrick Loughrane :— Slightly pockmarked about the nose ; gray eyes, hooked core, dark complexion, regular ' ace, medmm mate, 6 feet 6 inches high, about 42 years of age, black bair, whiskers a id moustache, wore all his beard; wore a blsck coat, trowsers, and vest. This man was out on bail to atteud at Newry Petty Sessions, on 2lst JMarcb, 1877, where he failed to appear; is supposed to have gone to county Londonderry, and will try to emigrate. Bridge, esq., asrent to Nathaniel Buckley, esq., Galtee Castle:— Rather short neck, slightly round shoulders; Brown eyes, hooked nose, fresh slightly freckled complexion, long face, stout make. 5 feet 10 inches high, about 40 years of age, dark brown curly hair, sandy whiskers; wore a dark coat, cord trowsers, light vest. DESCRIPTION of Hugh Ashe, native of Down, who stands charged with having, on the 31st day of March, 1877, in the barony of Kinelarty, parish of Loughinisland, feloniously assaulted au old woman:— Fresh marks cf the woman's teeth on one of his thumbs; dark eyes, straight nose, sallow com- plexion, thin face, medium make, 6 feet 8 inches high, abont 28 years of age, brown hair; wore a woollen cap, dark coat, moleskin trowsers; may be cut or scratched about the head or face is a carpenter. DESCRIPTION of Gilbert M'Ilurick ( mother's sur- name Kenaghan), native ot Down, who stands charged with having, on the 16th day of March. 1877, in the barony of Iveagh Upper, parish of Kilcoo, embezzled several sums of money, the pro- perty of Lord Roden:— Cut- mark on one of his wrists; has a lond shrill cough ; dark eyes, long drooped nose, dark complexioo, lone thin face, medium make, 5 feet 11 inches high, about 85 je^ rs of age, dark brown hair, wears all bis beard, which is light brown; wore a low black bat, dark coaf, tweed trowsera, dark vest; rather good- looking ; smart active appearance; is a shepherd. Dublin, DESCRIPTION of the under- named young offender, who, on the 23rd April, 1877, absconded from the High Park Reformatory School, at Drumcondra:— Margaret Carey, No. 237, 15 years cf age, 4 feet 10 incurs high, stout and clumsy make, fresh and high- coloured COT plexion, brown hair, blue eyes, medium nose, rather wide mouti, round full visage; formerly belonged to cole's- alley, off Mount street; her pa'entb reside at Cole's alley ; her father is a coal- porter, her mother a dealer in fish; they have 6 other children. The school dress, all with Reformatory stamp, consists of— black rug petticoat, brown cross- barred gingham jacket, broad striped check apron, strong nailed laced shoes, white knitted stockings; all the clothing marked " No. 31" and the initials " J.
