DESCRIPTION of Petor M'Keown, native of Drumilly, who stands charged with having, on the 19th Febru- ary, 1877, in the barony of Upper Orior, parish of Killeavy, seriously ' asoaulted Patrick Loughrane :— Slightly pockmarked about the note ; gray eye?, hooked nose, dark complexion, regular face, medium make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 42 years of age, blaok hair, whiskers and inoustiohe, wore all his beard; wore a black coat, trowsers, and vest. This man was out on bail to attend at Newry Petty Sessions, on 21st March, 1877, where he failed to appear; is supposed to have gono to couaty Londonderry, and will try to emigrate. DESCRIPTION of Hugh Ashe, native of Down, who stands charged with having, on the 31 st day of March, 1877, in the barony of Kinelarty, parish of Loughinisland, feloniously as « aulted an old woman:— Fresh marls of the woman's teeth on one of his thumbs ; dark eyes, straight nose, sallow com- plexion, thin face, medium make, 6- feet 8 inches high, abont 28 years of age, brown hair; wore a wcolltn cap, dark coat, moleskin trowsers ; may be cut or scratched about the head or face: is a carpenter. DESCRIPTION of Gilbert M'Ilurick ( mother's sur- name Kernaghan), native of Down, who stands charged with having, on the 16th day of March. 1877, in the barony of Iveagh Upper, parish of Kilcoo, embezzled several sums of money, the pro- perty of Lord Roden:— Cut- mark on one of his wrists; has a loud shrill cough; dark eyes, long droaped nose, dark complexion, long thin face, medium mske, 5 feet 11 inches high, about 85 years of age, dark brown hair, wears all his beard, which is light brown; wore a low black hat, dark coa*, tweed trowsers, dark vest; rather gootf- looking ; smart active appearance; is a shepherd. DESCRIPTION of the under- named young offender, who, on the 23rd April, 1877, absconded from the High Park Reformatory School, at Drumcondra:—• Margeret Carey, No, 237, 16 years ef nge, 4 feet 10 inches high, stout and clumsy make, fresh and high- coloured complexion, brown hair, l. lue eyes, medium nose, rather wide mouth, round full visage; formerly belonged to Cole's- alley, off Mount street; her parent* reside at Cole's alley; her father is a coal- porter, her fi o her a dealer in full, thay have 6 ether children. The school dress, all with Reformatory stamp, consists of— black rug petticoat, brown cross- barred gingham jacket, broad striped check apron, strong nailed laced shoes, white knitted stockings ; all the clothing marked " No. 31" and the initials " J. P. R." The Manager of the Reformatory will defray the expense of her conveyance, if arrested, to the nearest Justice, on remand, and will reward the person who may capture her with 10j. WHEREAS it has been represented to the Lord Lieutenant, that, about the hour of 12 o'clock, on the night of the 26th ultimo, a gunshot was fired into the dwelling- house of George Rowe, esquire, of Boulart, Clara, in the King's county; His Grace, for the better apprehending and bringing to justice the perpetrators of this outrage, is pleased hereby to offer a reward of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS to any person or persons who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person or persons who committed the same. By His Grace's command, T. H. BUBKB. The above reward will be paid, on conviction, by J. H. L. Rigers, esq., the Resident Magistrate at Tullamore, to those who may become entitled to it under the conditions of this Proclamation. WHEREAS, on the afternoon of the iTth ultimo, a number of processionists, wh' n passiig through Ballymacombo- more, in the barony o' Loughin- sholin, in the county of Londonderry, atackcd and violently assaulted John Junkin and his sister Sarah, kicking them and fracturing their skulls in consequence of wh: ch their lives wera seriously endangered: I hereby offer a reward of £ 30 to any person who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of any of the persons concerned in the outrage in question. Unknown— Pockpitted: fiir' complexion, long ace, stout make, 6 feet 7 inches high, about 30 yeors of age, fair hair, small fair whiskers; wore a seal- skin cap with ear flaps, corduroy jacket, and trowsers; apparently a labourer. 2. Unknown— Dark complexion, thin face, medium make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 80 years of age. dark hair, small dark whiskers: wore a jacket turned inside out, corduroy trowsers; apparently a labourer. 3. DESCRIPTION of a man, name unknown, who stands charged with having, on the 11th of August, ia76, at about hall- past 11 o'clock, A. M., in the barony of Carra, parish of Drum, at Loonamore, discharged three shots from a revolver from behind a rick of turf at George R. Acton, esq., Bridgemount, as he drove by, returning from the fair of Balla:— Face not muscular, about 13 stone weight, seemingly a man not accustomed to hard labour, swarthy or much sun- burnt complexion, round lace, very full make 6 feet 8 inches high, 40 years of age, dark sandy hair, beard and moustache; brown frieze sack coat, dark tweed vest, whitish trowsers, and a soft hat, with high crown.
