DESCRIPTION of Peter M'Keown, native of Drumilly, who stands charged with having, on the 19th Febru- ary, 1877, in the barony of Upper Orior, parish of Killeavy, seriously assaulted Patrick Loughrane:— Slightly pockmarked about the nose ; gray eyes, hooked nose, dark complexion, regular face, medium make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 42 years of age, blaok hair, whiskers and moustache, wore all his beard; wore a black coat, trowsers, and vest. This man was out on bail to attend at Newry Petty Sessions, on 21st March, 1877, where he failed to appear; is supposed to have gone to county Londonderry, and will try to emigrate. Bridge, esq. agent to Nathaniel Buckley, esq., Galtee Castle:— Rather short neck, slightly rozind shoulders; Brown eyes, hooked nose, iresh slightly freckled complexion, long face, stout ii;* ke, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 40 years of age, dark brown curly hair, sandy whiskers; wore a dark coat, cord trowsers, light vest. DESCRIPTION of 3 persons, names and native places unknown, who stand charged with having, on the 80th March, 1876, in the barony of Condons and Clangibbon, parish of Mitchelstown, been two of a party who fired at and wounded Patten Bridge, esq., and Constable Mathew Nugent, and shot John Hyland dead at same time and place:— 1. Unknown— Fair complexion, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 85 years of age, sandy whiskers nearly meeting under the chin; wore a cloth frock coat; had his face blackened. 3. Unknown— Fair complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 85 years of age, large sandy whiskers; wore a soft hat, faded cloth coat. DESCRIPTION of Denis Shea and Alice Shea, husband and wife, natives of Killorglin, Kerry, who stand charged with having, on the 4th February, 1877, in the barony of Barrymore, parish of Caherlag, stolen a donkey cart, the property of Patrick Sexton, which has since been recovered:— 1. Denis Shea— Black spot under right eye, gray eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, large mouth, 5 feet 3 inches high, about 44 years of age, black hair, shaves all his face; is a travelling fish dealer. 2. Alice Shea— Sunken black eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, aval face, thin make, 4 feet 10 inches high, about 45 years of age, dark hair. DESCRIPTION of Denis Murphy, native of Knockna- boola, district of Killarney, Kerry, who stands charged with having, on tbe 23rd July, 1876, at Kingwilliamstown, in the barony erf Duhallow, parish of Nohavaldaly, so seriously assaulted Michael Conners that he died on the 25th July, 1876, ( see Hue- and- Cry, lst August, 1876) Gray eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, thin face, stout make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 20 years of age; is a labourer. DESCRIPTION of Hugh Ashe, native of Down, who stands charged with having, on the 31st day of Match, 1877, in the barouy of Kinelarty, parish of Loughinisland, 2 feloniously assaulted au old woman :— Fresh marks of the woman's teeth on one of his thumbs; dark eyes, siraight nose, sallow com- plexion, thin face, medium make, 5 feet 8 inches high, ab rot 28 years of age, brown hair; wore a wcollen cap, daik coat, moleskin trowsers; may be cut or scratched about the head or face: is a carpenter. Was in America, and lately returned from England, where he worked as a labourer. Pas a pair of English- made navvy boots, with iron plates under toes, also a pair of light Wellington boots.
