This man was out on bail to attend at Newry Petf? Sessions, on 21st March, 1877, where he failed to appear; is supposed to have gone to county Londonderry, and will try to emigrate. DESCRIPTION of Henry Kane, natiye of Derryane, who stands charged with having, on the 22nd inst., at Derryane, in the barony of Onielland West, parish of Tartaraghan and county of Armagh, assaulted Thomas Smyth, aged 86 years, by striking him on the bead with a stick, from tbe effects of which his life is in danger:— Blue eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, round face, stout make, 6 feet 7 inches high, about 40 years of age but looks younger, brown hair, short sandy whiskers; wore a low round hat, gray tweed coat, cord trowsers, dark vest. DESCRIPTION of 2 men, supposed to be James Keogh, native of Freeduff, and John Lynch, native of Bally willan, who stand charged with having, on the 17th day of January, 1877, in barony of Clonmahon, parish of Drumlumman, along with another man, who has been arrested, waylaid and seriously assaulted Michael Hope:— 1. Supposed James Keogh— Gray eyes, regular rose, sallow complexion, regular face, stout make, 5 feet 6 inches high, between 20 and 25 years of age, dark hair wore a cap, dark tweed coat, dark trowsers and vest; is a farmer's son. 2. Supposed John Lynch, sandy complexion, medium make, 5 feet 10 inches higb, about 20 years of age, light coloured thin beard; wore an old round hat gray coat; is a farmer's son. DESCRIPTION of Mary M'Inerney, rative of Tulla, Who stands charged with having, on the Srd day of February, 1877, in the barooy of Islands, escaped from Ennis Lunatic Asylum, where she had been committed as a dangerous lunatic, and unlawfully taken with her several articles of clothing belonging to the institution:— Blue eyes, sttaight nose, ruddy complexion, long face, stout make, 5 feet 2 inches higb, about 24 years of age, brown hair ; wore a dark gray shawl, gray Wincey gown, white flannel petticoat, branded " E. B., who stands charged with having, on the 22nd March, 1875, in the barony of Ooshlea, parish of Kilbeheny, fired at Patten S. Bridge, esq., agent to Nathaniel Buckley, esq., Galtee Castle:— Rather short neck, slightly round shoulders; Brown eyes, hooked nose, fresh slightly freckled complexion, long face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 40 years of age, dark brown curly hair, sandy whiskers; wore a dark coat, cord trowsers, light vest. Unknown— Fair complexion, stout make, 8 feet 10 inches high; about 86 years of age, sandy whiskers nearly meeting under the chin; wore a cloth frock coat; had his face blackened. 9. DESCRIPTION of Denis Shea and Alice Shea, husband and wife, natives of Killorglin, Kerry, who stand charged with having, on the 4th February, 1877, in the barony of Barrymore, parish of Caherlag, stolen a donkey cart, the property of Patrick Sexton, which has since been recovered:— 1. Denis Shea— Black spot under right eye, gray eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, large mouth, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 44 years of age, black hair, shaves ail his face; is a travelling fish dealer. 9. Alice Shea—- Sunken black eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, oval face, thin make, A feet 10 inches high, about 46 years of age, dark hair. DESCRIPTION of Denis Murphy, native of Knockna- boola, district of Killarney, Kerry, who stands charged with having, on the 93rd July, 1876, at Kingwilliamstown, in the barony of Duhallow, parish of Nohavaldaly, so seriously assaulted Michael Conners that he died on the 95th July, 1876, ( see Hue- and- Cry, 1st August, 1876):— Gray eyes, regvlar nose, fair complexion, thin face, stout make, 6 feet 5 inches high, about 90 years of age; is a labourer. DESCRIPTION of Hugh Ashe, charged with a felo- nious assault on a female, on 31st March, 1877:— Fresh marks of the woman's teeth on one of his thumbs; dark eyes, straight nose, sallow complexion, cthin face, medium make, 5 feet 8 inches high, 28 years of. age, brown hair; wore a woollen cap, dark coat, moleskin trowsers. DBBOBIPTIOH of Gilbert M'Ilurick ( mother's sur- name Kernaghan), native of Down, who stands charged with having, on tbe 16th day of March. 1877, in the barony of Iveagh Upper, parish of Kilcoo, embezzled several sums of money, the pro- perty of Lord Roden:— Cut- mark on one of his wrists; has a loud shrill cough; dark eyes, long drooped nose, dark complexioo, long thin face, medium make, 6 feet ll inches high, about 36 jears cf age, dark brown hair, wears all his beard, which is light brown; wore a low black hat, dark coat, tweed trowsers, dark vest; rather good- looking ; smart active appearance; is a shepherd.
