This man was out on bail to attend at Newry Pett-; Sessions, on 21st March, 1877, where he failed to appear; is supposed to have gone to ceunty Londonderry, and will try to emigrate, Newtownhamilton, March 91, 1877. DESCRIPTION of Henry Kane, native of Derryane. who stands charged with having, on the 92nd inst., at Derrvane, in the barony of Onielland West, parish of Tartarean atd county of Armagh, assaulted Thomas Smyth, aged 86 years, by striking him on the bead with a stick, from the effects of which his life is in danger:— Blue eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, round face, stoat make, 6 feet 7 inches higb, about 40 years of age but looks younger, brown hair, short sandy whiskers; wore a low round hat, gray tweed coat, cord trowsers, dark vest. DESCRIPTION of 2 men, supposed to be James Keogh, native cf Freeduff, and John Lynch, native of Ballywillan, who stand charged with having, oa the 17ih day of January, 1877, in barony of Clonmahon, parish of Drumlumman, along with another man, who has been arrested, waylaid and seriously assaulted Michael Hope:— 1. Supposed James Keogh— Gray eyes, regular rose, sallow complexion, regular faee, stout make, 5 feet 6 inches high, between 20 and 55 years of age, dark h- ir, wore a cap, dark tweed coat, dark trowsers and vest; is a farmer s son. 2. Supposed John Lynch, sandy complexion, medium make, 5 feet 10 inches higb, about 20 years of age, light coloured thin beard; wore an old round hat gray coat; is a farmer's son. DESCRIPTION of Mary M'Inerney, native of Tulla, who stands charged with having, on tbe Srd dav of February, 1877, in the barony of Islands, escaped ' frem Ennis Lunatic Asylum, where she had been committed as a dangerous lunatic, and unlawfully taken with her several articles of clothing belonging to the institution:— Blue eyes, straight nose, ruddy complexion, long face, stout make, 5 feet 2 inches high, i- bout 24 years of age, brown hair; wore a dark gray shawl, erny Wincey gown, white flannel petticoat, branded " E. Bridge, esq. agent to Nathaniel Buckley, esq., Galtee Castle :— Rather short neck, slightly round shoulders; Browi eyes, hooked nose, fresh slightly freckled complexion^ long face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 40 years of age, dark brown curly hair, sandy whiskers; wore a dark coat, cord trowsers, light vest. DESCRIPTION of 3 persons, names and native places unknown, who stand charged with having, on the 80th March, 1876, in the barony of Condons and Clangibbon, parish of Mitchelstown, been two of a party who fired at and wounded Patten Bridge, esq., and Constable Mathew Nugent, and shot John Hyland dead at same time and place :— 1. Unknown— Fair complexion, stout make, feet 10 inches high, about 86 years of age, sand; whiskers nearly meeting under the chin; wore a cloth frock coat; had his face blackened. 3. DESCRIPTION of Denis Shea and Alice Shea, husband and wife, natives of Killorglin, Kerry, wbo stand charged with having, on the 4th February, 1877, in the barony of Barrymore, parish of caherlag, stolen a donkey cart, the property of Patrick Sexton, which has since been recovered:— 1. Denis Shea— Black spot under right eye, gray eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, large mouth, 5 feet 3 inches high, about 44 years of age, black hair, shaves all his face; is a travelling fish dealer. 2. Alice Shea— Sunken black eyes, regular nose, sallow complexion, oval face, thin make, 4 feet 10 inches high, about 45 years of age, dark hair.
