This man was out on bail to attend at Newry- Petty- Sessions, on 21st March, 1877, where he failed to appear; is supposed to have gone to county Londonderry, and will try to emigrate. DESCRIPTION of Henry Kane, native of Derryane, who stands charged with having, on the 22nd inst., at Derryane, in the barony of Onielland West, parish of Tartaraghan and county of Armagh, assaulted Thomas Smyth, ag'd 85 years, by striking him on the head with a stick, from the effects of which his life is in dangers— Blue eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches higb, about 40 years of age but looks younger, brown hair, short sandy whiskers; wore a low round hat, gray tweed coat, cord trowsers, dark vest. DESCRIPTION of Patrick Grimes, who has no fixed residence, and who stands charged with having, on the 6th cr 7th March, 18?/, ; n the barony of Clankee, parish of Enniskeen, stolen from the house of James Tinnelly 7J yards of bl ck tweed, 2 yards of frieze, jar Is of gray plaid tweed, a piece of black cloth, and several articles of trim cuing:— Mark of a cut over left eye, wants 3 front teeth in upper jaw ; heavy brown eyes sallow complexion, pale face, slight make, 5 feet 6 inchcs high, about 88 or 40 years of age, brown haft; wore a black jerry hat, dark frock coat, check trousers, g- ay vest; is a tailor. Supposed John Lynch, sandy complexior, medium make, 5 feet 10 inches higb, about 20 years of age, light coloured thin beard; wore an old round hat g ay coat; is a farmer's son. Bridge, esq., agent to Nathaniel Buckley, esq., Galtee Castle » — Rather ihort neck, slightly round shoulders; Brown eyes, hooked nose, fresh slightly freckled complexion, long face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 40 years of age, dark brown curly hair, sandy whiskers; wore a dark coat, cord trowsors, light vest. DESCRIPTION of 9 persons, names and ntftive places unknown, who stand charged with having, on the 80th March, 1876, in the barony of Condons and Clangibbon, parish of Mitchelstown, been two of a party who fired at and wounded Patten Bridge, esq., and Constable Mathew Nugent, and shot John Hyland dead at same time and place :— 1. Denis Shea— Black spot under right eye, gray eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, large mouth, 5 feet 2 inches high, about 44 years of age, black hair, shaves all his face; is a travelling fish dealer. 9. DESCRIPTION of an ass and cart, the property of John Sullivan, which were stolen from the town of Tralee, parish ' of Tralee, ' barony of Trughanacmy, dn the 10th day of March," 1877 :— A she donkey, mouse colour, not shod, smart cut. Cart— The side cases were inside the set locks, jointed into them t it is cased ; in one of the cramp- bolts there is a staple put through tbe crampbolt, and casing instead of a nut; there is one board out of the centre of the cart, and the name John Sullivan, of Lanabeg," is painted on the cart.
