FREDERICK MICHAEL RAILTON, who is charged with 1 aving, on the 6th day of January, 1876, at the boiough of Blackburn, forged a certain acquittance and receipt for money, to wit the sum of £ 3 Ss. 9d., als > other large sums of uoney, with intent thereby ttien to defraud ihe Phoenix Fire Asuurance Com- ; any. On th 8th (' ay of February, 1877, a Warrant was issued lor liis apprehens on on the said charges. DESCRIPTION of a man, name unknown, who stands charged with having, on the 11th of August, 1876, at about half- past 11 o'clock, A. M., in the - barony of Carra, parish of Drum, at Loonamore, discharged three shots from a revolver from behind a rick of turf at George R. Acton, esq., Bridgemount, as he drove by, returning from the fair of Balla:— Face not muscular, about 18 store weight, seemingly a man not accustomed to hard labour, swarthy or much sun- burnt complexion, round race, very full make 5 feet 8 inches high, 40 years of age, dark sandy hair, beard and moustache; brown frieze sack coat, dark tweed vest, whitish trowsers, and a solt hat, with high crown. Monaghan DESCRIPTION of Mary M'Keirna, native of Listra- hegney, who stands charged with having, on the 19th day of December, 1876, in the barony of Monaghan, parish of Tullycorbett, left the service of Mr. Wallace, of Braddocks, and it is feared that she has met with foul play:— Brown e^ es, regular nosa, fresh complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet high, about 19 years of age; wore a white bat, with black and white ribbon, red woollen shawl, black dress, blue skirt, elastic boots ; is a servant. DESCRIPTION of John Ryan, native of Garryduff, who stands charged with having, on the 8lst October, 1876, in the barony of Clandonagh, parish of Bathdowney, seriously assaulted William Guilfoyle, thereby causing his death on 3nd November, 1876, ( sea Hne- and- Cry, Srd November, 18761:— Large boil on back of neck ; slight impediment in his speech ; gray eyes, fair complexion, fresh freckled face, medium make, 6 feet 7 inches high, about 20 years of age, fair hair} wo: e a dark tweed cost, tweed trowsers and vest. I HEREBY offer a reward of £ 50 to any person who shall, within six months from the date heifof, fcive such information as shall lead to the arrest of Thomas Hunt, who is charged with having murdered his brother- in- law, John M'Gloin, on the night of tbe 29< h nit., near Bunninadden, parish of Cloonog- hill, in the county of Sligo. DESCRIPTION of Thomas Hunt, ( mother's surname Quigley,) native of Knockgranagh, who stands charged wltjh having, on the 29th November, ult., in the barony of Leyney, parish of Achonry, murdered John M'Gloin, by fracturing his skull with * large stone:— Down- looking appearance, two upper front teeth large and prominent, high cheek bones, large ' heavy lips, sunken jaws, very broad shoulders; glaring ' black eyes, Slightty cocsed nose, sallow complexion, oval face, stout make, 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, about 27 or 28 years < f age, black hair, small dark moustache; wore a dark cloth coat, trowsers, and vest. Was in America, and lately returned from England, where he worked as a labourer. Has a pair of English- made navvy boots, with iron plates under tr- es, also a pair of light Wellington boots. A Warrant is in the hands of the Constabulary for his arrest. Strabane, Feb 11, 1877. ,8691 c 21466.1 DESCRIPTION of Neiley Todd, alias Williamson, native of Mosside, county Antrim, who stands charged with having, on the 7th February, 1877, in thebaronyof Clogher parish of Aghalurcher, assaulted Catherine M'Geary, with criminal intent, and having taken out a pistol and threatened to shoot her:— Smart appearance ; gray or blue eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, medium make, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, about 19 or 20 years of age, fair lair; wore a round soft hat and gray clothes. DESCRIPTION of William James Devlin, native of Coolreagh, near Cookstown, who stands charged with havi' g. on the 22nd January, 1877, in the barony of Upper Dungannon, parish of Derryloran, absconded, taking with him property available for his creditors, he having been adjudicated a bankrupt:— Straight active appearance and broad square shoulders; rather good looking; gray eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, regular face, stout make, 5 feet 11 inches high, about 88 years of age, light brown hair cut very short, large light brown whiskers; wore a tweed coat, trowsers, and vest. It is supposed he proceeded to Dublin on the night that he absconded. Cookstown, Jan. 87, 1877. ( 11889 c.— 21224.) DESCRIPTION of 2 persons, names and native places unknown, who stand charged with having, on the night of the 10th of January, 1877, in the barony of Upper Dungannon, parish of Ballyclog, seriously assaulted Henry Conway, from the effects of wh ch he now lies dangerously ill:— 1. Unknown— Pale complexion, slender make, ratfcer tall, 17 or 18 years of age, dark hair, no beard or whiskers: boyish appearance. 3. DESCRIPTION of William Shields, native of Beragh, who stands charged with haviog, on the 22nd ol December, 1876, in the barony of East Omagh, pariah of Termonmagulrk, burglariously entered the dwelling- house of Patrick Donnelly, of Gortfinbar, and stolen therefrom, a five- round note, and four shillings in silver:— Holds his head to right side: bald on top of head, gray eyes, long hooked nose, dark complexion, round face, stout mate, 6 feet 10 inches high, about 60 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a black cap, black napped coat, cord trowsers, white moleskin vest. DESCRIPTION of an ass's car and harness, the property of Hugh Foley, which were stolen from the lards of Ballymurtha, parish of Clone, barony of Scarawalsh, on the night of 29th or morning of 80th January, 1877 :— A new car, painted green, wheels painted red, two bent shuttles on front ef car, pi< ce broken off side of fore back; value for £% 10$.
