DESCRIPTION of James M'Mullen, a convict licence- holder, register No. Y. 717, who failed to report himself to the Police at Old Cumnock, in this county, on the 28th ultimo :— He is about 25 years of nge, 5 feet 0 inches in height, dark complexion, dark brown hair, hazel eyes; scar on left knee; cross, seven stars and " I. H. S." on the front of right arm below the elbow, mole under left eye, several small scars on back. He is a labourer, and was convicted of insubordination aud violence at u General Court Martial at Dovonport, on tho 14th September, 1873, aad sentenced to 6 years' penal servitude. G Divisions DESCRIPTION of the under- mentioned, who is wanted for forging the names of Wright and Symms, stockbrokers, to a cheque for XUO, and uttering same at the Royal Bank, Foster- place, Dublin, where he obtained said sum on the 27th Janna y, and absconded ;— Charles William Smith, about 40 years old, but looks older, 5 feet 9 inches high, pale com- p'exion, dark hair turning gray, wore all his beard; dressed in Ordinary dark clothes, is a native of Bath, a discharged soldier, and suspected of haviag eloped with a female from Cardiff with whom he corresponded. M., in the barony of Carra, parish of Dram, at Loonamore, discharged three shots from a revolver from behind a rick of turf at George B. Acton, esq., Bridgemount, as he drove by, returning from the fair of Balla:— Face not muscular, about 13 stone weight, seemingly a man not accustomed to hard labour, swarthy or much sun- burnt complexion, round race, very full make 5 feet 8 inchcs high, 40 years ol age, dark sandy hair, beard and moustache; brown frieze sack coat, dark tweed vest, whitish trowsers. and a soft hat, with high crown. Monaghan DESCRIPTION of Mary M'Keirna, native of Listra- hegney, who stands charged with having, on the 19th day of December, 1876, in the barony of Monaghan, parish of Tullycorbett, left the service of Mr. Wallace, of Braddocks, and it is feared that she has met with foul play:— Brown eyes, regular nosa, fresh complexion, round face, medium raake, 6 feet high, about 19 years of age; wore a white hat, with black and white ribbon, red woolloa shawl, black dress, blue skirt, elastic boots ; is a servant. 8he is supposed to have gone to Belfast. DESCRIPTION of Anne Campbell, ( mother's surname Kiernan,) native of Stradeen, who stands chargod with having, in the barony of Farney, parish of Killanny, deserted her illegitimate child, aged 2^ years, by leaving it in the dwelling- house of Patrick Murray, and then absconding:— Slightly pockmarked ; dark or brown eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, broad face, stout make, 4 feet 10 inches high, about 80 years of age, black hair; wore a gray plaid shawl, dark dress much worn, laced boots, and white stockings, no head- dress; is a servant maid. DESCRIPTION of John Farrell, supposed native ot Dunlavin, county Wicklow, who stands charged with having, on the night of the 25th January, 1877, in tho barony of Stradbally, parish of Moyanna, stolen a dark tweed short frock coat, and a light tweed vest, both now, and value for £ 2 or upwards, the property of James Tynan, of Vicarstown :— Pearl on left eye, small mark like evil on right side of neck; black eyes, regular nose, yellow complexion, full face, stout make, 6 feet 5 inches high, about 25 years of age, black hair ; wore a soft black hat, worn gray m& lton coat, new cord trowsers, old dark tweed vest; might be wearing the stolen clothes. DESCRIPTION of John Byan, native of Garryduff, who stands charged with having, on the 8lst October, 1876, in the barony of Clandonagh, parish of Bathdowney, seriously assaulted William Guilfoyle, thereby causing his death on 2nd November, 1876, ( see Hue- aad- Cry, 3rd November, 1876):— Large boil on back of neck ; slight impediment in hts speech ; gray eyes, fair complexion, fresh freckled face, medium make, 6 feet 7 inches high, about 20 years of aje, fair hair; wore a dark tweed coat, tweed trowsers and vest. I HEREBY offer a reward of £ 50 to any person who shall, within six monihs from the da'e hereof, give such information a3 shall lead to the arrest of Thomas Hunt, who is charged with having murdered his brother in- law, John M'Gloin, on the night of tbe 29ih ult., near Bunninadden, parish of Cloonog- hill, in the county of Sligo. DESCRIPTION of Thomas Hunt, ( mother's surname Quigley,) native of Knockgranagh, who stands charged with having, on the 29th November, ult., in the barony of Leyney, parish of Achonry, murdered John M'Gloin, by fracturing his skull with a large stone:— Down- looking appearance, two upper front teeth large and prominent, high cheek bones, large heavy lips, sunken jaws, very broad shoulders ; glaring black eyes, slightly cocked nose, sallow complexion, oval face, stout make, 5 feet 0 or 10 inches high, about 27 or 28 years of age, black hair, small dark moustache; wore a dark cloth coat, trowsers, and vest, Was in America, and lately returned from England, where he worked as a labourer. DESCRIPTION of Felix Kearns, native of Cliffoney, and Patrick Waters, native of Newtown Clifioney, who stand charged with having, on the 3rd Decem- ber, 1876, in the barony of Carbury, parish of , ' Ahamlish, committed a criminal assault on Bessie Gilmartin :— ) 1. Felix Kearns— Pimples on fact, delicate appear- ance, large mouth slightly turned; gray eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, ronnd face, slight make, 6 feet 6£ inches high, about 19 years of age, fair hair; wore a dark tweed coat, dark trowsers and vest; is an aesistant teacher in National School. 2. Patrick Waters— Heavy eyebrows; brown eyes, sharp nosa, fair complexion, regular face, stout make, f> feet inches high, abont 19 years of age, brown hair; wore a round hat dark tweed coat, dark trowsers and vest; is a labourer. DESCRIPTION of Richard Bourke, native of Rath cardan, who stands charged with having, on the 19th January, 1877, in the barony of Kilnamanagh Upper parish of Glenkeen, inflicted with a blunt weapon an injury en the head of John Bourke, at Bath- cardan, from the effects of which he died on 20th inst,:— Gray eyes, long nose, fresh complexion, long face, slight make, 6 feet high, about 80 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a frieze frock coat, gray tweed trowsers and vest. ' DeScrIpTION of William James Devlin, native of Coolreagh, near Cookstown, who stands charged with having, on the 99nd January, 1877, > n the barony of Upper Dungannon, parish of Derryloran, absconded, taking with him property available for his creditors, he having been adjudicated a bankrupt:— Straight active appearance and broad square shoulders; rather good- looking; gray eyes, regular nose, fair ^ mploxion, regular face, stout make, 6 feet 11 • k- ies high, about 88 years of age, light brown hair it very short, large light brown whiskers; wore a tweed coat, trowsers, and vest. Unknown— Pale complexion, slender make, rather tall, 17 or 18 years of age, da k hair, no beard or whiskers; boyish appearance. 9.
