WANTED at Coventry, charged on a Warrant with uttering a fictitious cheque on the Birbcck Bank. Chancery- lane, W. C., to an hotel keeper, in payment for board, lodgings, & c., with intent to defraud, Frederick Bebbington, alias Frederick Charles Stanley Bennett, 38 years of age, 6 feet 8 inches high, thin build, pale complexion, light hair cut short and parted in middle, haggard features, very slight whiskers, and was cultivating a moustache; molo on left chesk, right side ef neek, top of left shoulder, and on each arm; scar on first finger of left hand ; right knee swollen frem an affection of the joint ( the result of an injury received about 12 months s nee', whistt causes him to walk lame; of gentle- manly appearance, address and manners; is likely tj be dressed in light gray plaid, large check ulster, gray trowsers, hard brown felt billycock hat, drab gaiters over elastic- sided boots, wears a steel scarf pin representing three swingle trees or bars of a stage coach. He has resided at the Castle hotel, Coventry, and left on the 19th inst. He was conviated at Man- chester on the 9nd January, 1873, for obtaining money by false pretences, sent* need to 15 months' imprisonment and 7 years' Police supervision; has s'nee been imprisoned at Great Yarmouth and Knutsford for failing to report himself. He occasion- ally represents himself as a Captain ef the army, at other times as a solicitor, Ac. He has recently received friendly communications frcm a gentleman at Hanover- square Club, London, of which club he has been heard to say he is a member. He was in business as Commission Agent at 80, Queen's- crescent, Haverstock Hill, London, about 8 months since: is known at Woodford, Essex; at Bayworth, near Leicester; at Curry Rival, near Taunton; at Leamington, Birmingham, & c.; and was married at Brighton about 13 months ago. His wife recently resided at 4, Wenlock- road, City- road, London. He is ? in the habit of negotiating with house agents an! others, in reply to advertisements of furnished houses and lodgings, making payments by fictitious bills and cheques ; associates with persons of good position, attends race meetings, deals in and hires horses and carriages, and patronizes livery stables. He is likely to bs staying at some first- class hotel. If found, this person may bs apprehended without Warranty as he is also wanted for failing to report himself as required by the Prevention of Crimes Act, 1877. DESCRIPTION of Margaret Green, native of Mul- lagh, who stands charged with having, on the 7th day of June, 1876, in the barony of Islands, parish of Drumcliff, committed bigamy:— Brown eyes, cocked nose, sallow complexion, flat face, very stout make, 4 feet 6 inches high, about 40 years of age, dark hair; wore a short dress of gaudy colours. R., who stands charged with having, on the 33nd March, 1875, in the barony of Coshlea, parish of Kilbeheny, fired at Patten S. Bridge, esq., agent to Nathaniel Buckley, esq., Galtee Castle s— rather short neek, slightly round shoulders; Brown eyes, hooked nose, fresh slightly freckled complexion, long face, stout make, 5 feet 10 inches high, abont 40 years of age, dark brown curly hair, sandy whiskers; wore a dark coat, cord trowsers, light vest. DESCRIPTION of Patrick Kelly, ( mother's surname Catherine Fullam nalive of Corbawn, who stands charged with having, on the 16lh January, 1877, in the barony of granard, parish of Abbeylara, Committed a serious assault on James Brady, of Cullionmore:— Wants part of upper front tooth ; lisp- when speaking; brown eyes, long nose, swarthy com- plexion, long face, st ut make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 28 years of age, black hair, dark brown beard heavy on chin t wore a round black hat, dark tweed coat, black trowsers and vest, is a small farmer. DESCRIPTION of a man, name unknown, who stands charged with having, on the llth of August, 1876, at about half past 11 o'clock, A. M., in the barony of Garra, parish of Drum, at Loonamore, discharged three shots from a revolver from behind a rick of turf at George R. Acton, esq., Bridgemount, as he drove by, returning from the fair of Balls :— Face not muscular, about 13 stone weight, seemingly accustomed to hard labour, swarthy or much sun- burnt complexion, round face, very full make 6 feet 8 inches high, 40 years of age, dark sandy hair, beard aud moustache; brown frieze sack coat," dark tweed vest, whitish trowsers and a soft hat, with high crown. Monaghan DESCRIPTION of Mary M'Keirna, native of Listra- hegney, who stands charged with having, on the 19th day of December, (. 876, ia the barony of Monaghan. parish of Tullycorbett, left the service of Mr, Wallace, of Braddocks, and it is feared that she has met with foul play:— Brown eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet high, about 19 years of age; wore a white hat, with black and white ribbon, red woollen shawl, black dress, blue skirt, elastic boots ; is a servant. DESCRIPTION of Anne Campbell, ( mother's surname Kiernan,) native of Stradeen, who stands charged with having, in the barony of Farney, parish of Killanny, deserted her illegitimate child, agad years, by leaving it in the dwelling- house of Patrick Murray, and then absconding:— Slightly pockmarked ; dark or brown eyes, regular no3e, fair copiplexion, broad face, stout make, 4 feet 10 inches high, about 30 years of age, black hair; wore a gray plaid shawl, dark dress much worn, laced boots, and white stockings, no head- dress; is a servant maii. I HEREBY offer a reward of £ i0 to any person who shall, within six months from the da'e hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of Thomas Hunt, who is charged with having murdered bis brother in- law, John m'Gloin, on the night of the 29th ult., near Bunninadden, parish of Cloonog- hill, in the county of Sligo. DESCRIPTION of Thomas Hunt, ( mother's surname Quigley, native of Knockgranagh. who stands charged with having, on the 29th November, ult., in, the barony of Leyney, parish of Achonry, murdered John M'Gloin, by fracturing his skull with a large stone:— Down- looking appcarance, two upper front teeth large a id prominent, high cheek bones, large heavy lips, sunken jaws, very broad shoulders; glaring black eyes, slightly cocked nose, sallow complexio i, oval face, stout make, 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, about 27 or 28 yearn cf age, black hsir, small dark moustache; wore a dark cloth coat, trowsers, and vest. Was in America, and lately returned from England, where he worked as a labourer. Has a pair of English- made navvy boots, with iron plates under toes, also a pair of light Wellington boots. DESCRIPTION of Felix Kearns, native of Cliffoney, and Patrick Waters, native of Newtown Cliftoney, who stand charge} with having, on the 3rd Decem- ber, 1876, in the barony of Carbury, parish of Ahamlish, committed a criminal assault on Bessie Gilmartin:— 1. Felix Kearns— Pimples on fate, delicate apptar- ance, large mouth slightly turned, 8 W eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, round face, slight make. 6 feet 6| inches high, about 19 years of age, fair hair; wore a dark tweed coat, dark trowsers and vest; is an assistant teacher in National School. 9. Patrick Waters— Heavy eyebrows; brown eyes, sharp nosa, fair complexion, regular face, stout make, ft feet inches high, about 19 years of age, brown hair; wore a round hat, dark tweed coat, dark trousers and vesf; is a labourer. DESCRIPTION of Patrick M'Grath, native of Cool- namonia, who stands charged on suspicion with having, on the 8th of November, 1876, in the barony of Kilnamanagh Upper, parish of Moyaliff, seriously assaulted Jeremiah Lowery, thereby causing his death on 26th of novemb'er, 1876 :— Slightly in- kneed ; shaves all his face ; brown eyes, regular nose, dark fresh complexion, full face, stout make, B feet 7 inches high, about 26 years of age, dark hair; wore a jerry hat, brown cloth coat, t<^ eed trousers and vest; is a farmer's son. DESCRIPTION of William James Devlin, native of Coolreagh, near Cookstowa, who stands charged with having, on the 22nd January, 1 < 7, in the barony cf Upper Dungannon, parish of Derryloran, absconded, taking with him property available for his creditors, he having been adjudicated a bankrupt;— Straight active appearand and broad square shoulders; rather good- looking; gray eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, regular face, stout make, 5 feet II inches hig1!, about 38 years of age, light brown hair cut" very short, large light brown whiskers; wore a tweed coat, trowsers, and vest. Unknown— Dark complexion, low set make, 5 feet 5 inches high, about 20 years of age, dark hair and whiskers. Cookstown, Jan. 16, 1877. ( 11789 c — 21088.) DESCRIPTION of William Shields, native of Beragh, who stands charged with having, on the 22nd of December, 1876, in the barony of East Omagh, parish of Termonmagulrk, burglariously entered the dwelling- house of Patrick Donnelly, of Gortfinbar, and stolen therefrom, a five- pound note, and four shillings in silver:— Holds his head to right side; bald op top of head, gray eyts, long hooked pose, dark complexio", round face, stout made if et 10 inches high, about 60 years of age; dark brown hair5 wore a black cap, black napped coat, cord trowsers, white moleglfip vept. ( 11610 0.— 20687) Waterford, DESCRIPTION of an ass and car, the property of Patrick Hartigin, which were stolen from the lands of Shanemore.. parish of Lismore, barony of cosh- 10th day of January, gray gelding; more and Goshbride on the 1877;— The ass was a larged- sized light ho hsd a sore under left flank.
