As this man is suspected to be trying to get out of tho country, the Police at shipping ports are requested to be particularly on the alert for him. Cork. ; , DESCRIPTION of 9 persons, names and native places anknown, who stand charged with having, on the 30th March, 1876, in the barony of Condons and Clangibbon, parish of Mitchelstown, been two of a party who fired at and wounded Patten Bridge, esq., and Constable Mathew Nugent, and shot John Hyland dead at same time and place :— 1. Unknown— Fair complexion, stout make, 6 feet 10 inches high, about 35 years of age, sandy; whiskers nearly meeting under the chin; wore a cloth frock coat; had his face blackened. 9. THE attention of the Constabulary is called to the description, under Cork, in Hue a d Cry of 23rd Jm e. ' 874, of ticket of leave convict James Ryan, who, on the 6th iust, was. in this proclaimed district, arrested, having arms without a licence and who it has since transpired represented himself at farmers, hous s as John Ryan, who fired at Mr. Bridge, and that Crowe who shot his driver, was his uncle. It is suspected that for the last 2| years he was roaming about, obtaining his livelihood by these and other false pretences. DESCRIPTION of Thomas Hunt, ( mother's surname Quigley native of Knockgranagh, who stands charged with having, on the 29th November, ult, in the barony of Leyney, palish of Achonry, murdered John M'Gloin, by fracturing his skull with a large stone :— Down- looking appearance, two upper front teeth large and prominent, high cheek hones, large heavy lips, sunken jaws, very broad shoulders; glaring black eyes, slightly cocked nose, sallow complexion, oval face, stout make, 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, about 97 or 28 years cf age, black hair, small dark moustache; wore a dark cloth coat, trowsers, and vest. Was in America, and lately returned from England, where he worked as a labourer. Has a pair of English- made navvy boots, with iron plates under toes, also a pair of light Wellington boots. DESCRIPTION of Mary ' M'Keirna, native of Listra- hegney, who stands charged with having, bn the 19th day of December, 1876, in the barony of Monaghan, parish of Tullycorbett, left the service of Mr. Wallace, of Braddocks, and it is feared that she has met with foul play:— Brown eyes, regular nose, fresh complexion,.. round face, medium make, 5 feet high, about 19 years of age; wore a white bat, with black and white ribbon, red woollen shawl, black dress, blue skirt, elastic boots ; is a servant. DESCRIPTION of Anne Campbell, ( mother's surname Kiernan,) native of Stradeen, who stands charged with having, in the barony of Farney, parish of Killanny, deserted her illegitimate child, aged 2$ years, by leaving it in the dwelling- house of Patrick Murray, and then absconding:— Slightly pockmarked ; dark or brown eyes, regular nose, fair complexion, broad face, stoat make, 4 feet 10 inches high, about 80 years of age, black hair ; wore a gray plaid shawl, dark dress much worn, laced boots, and white stockings, no head- dress; is a servant maid. DESCRIPTION of William Shields, native of Beragh, who stands charged with baviog, on the 92nd of December, 1870, in the barony of East Omagh, parish of Termonmagulrk, burglariously entered the dwelling- house of Patrick Donnelly, of Gortfinbar, and stolen therefrom, a five- pound note, a d four shillings in silver:— Holds his head to right side ; bald on top ofh sad, gray eyes, longhooked nose dark complexion, round face stou1 make, 5 f et 10 nohts high, about 60 years of age, dark biown 1 air; tvore a black cap, black nappe j coat, cord trowsers, white moleskin vest. Patrick Hartigan, which were stolen from the lands of Shanemore, parish of Lismore, barony of Cosh- more and Coshbride on the 10th day of January, 1877:— The ass was a large 1- sized light gray gelding; he had a sore under left flank.
