DESCRIPTION of Patrick M'Loughlin, native of Frenchpark, who stands charged with having, on the 31st December, 1876, in the barony of Clan- morris, parish of Kilcoman, had in his possession 8 asses for which he could not satisfactorily account:— Dark eyes, regular nose, very swarthy complexion, round face, medium make, 5 feet 4 inches h gb, about 52 years of age, black hair, wore all his beard which is black; wore a low round hat, dark pilot coat, old tweed trowsers, dark cloth vest, laced boots. Two of the asses have been claimed and informations sworn to day; the third is not yet claimed. M'Loughlin has been remanded to Petty Sessions of Ballyhaunis, to be held on 16th instant, He may have committed offences elsewhere. Description of the ass net yet claimed s— A large mouse- coloured mare ass, heavy with foal, in good condition, shod on two fore feet, hair rubbed off breast and tail by harness ; value for about £ 4. DESCRIPTION of Felix Kearns, native of Cliffoney, acd Patrick Waters, native of Newtown Cliffoney, who stand charged with having, on the 3rd Decem- ber, 187 6, in the barony of Carbury, parish of Ahamlish, committed a criminal assault on Bessie Gilmartin:— 1. Felix Kearns— Pimples on face, delicate appear- ance, large mouth slightly turned ; gray eyes, regular nose, pale complexion, round iace, slight make, 5 feet 61 inches high, about 19 years of age, fair hair; wore a dark tweed coat, dark trowsers and vest; is an assistant teacher in National School. 3. Patrick Waters— Heavy eyebrows; brown eye", sharp nose, fair complexion, regular iace, stout make, 6 feet 9£ inches high, about 19 years of age, browo hair; wore a round hat dark tweed coat, dark trowsers and vest; is a labouter. DESCRIPTION of Michael Callaghan, native ol Scraggeen, who stares charged with having, on the 18th December, 1876, in the barony of Owney and Arra, parish oi Kilvellane, violently and dangerously assaulted his stepfather, Thomas MacMahon, of Scraggeen, from which his life is endangered:— Pockmarked ; gray eyes, long nose, fresh complexion, thin face, medium make, 6 feet 9 inches high, about 25 or 26 years of age, fair hair : wore a gray frieze frock coat, dark trowsers and vest; is a farm labourer. DESCRIPTION of a persoi. name, and native place unknown, who stands chaiged with having, on the 13th day of December, 1876, in the barony oi Middlethird, parish of St. Patricksrock, stolen a heifer, the property of Thomas Dwyer, of Cashel, which he sold shortly after in the fair of Cashel, to a man named Patrick Cunningham, cattle dealer, Same place:— Ordinary nose, sallow complexion, s nooth round face, stout mske. 5 feet 8 inches high, f b. ut 24 years oi age, black hair; wore a soft round hat, da k frieie coat dark trowsers, and vest, patent leather leggings had the appearance oi a comfortable farmer's son. DESCRIPTION of Patrick M'Grath, native of Cool- namonia, who stands charged on suspicion with having, on the 6th of November, 1876, in the barony of Kilnamanagh Upper, parish of Moyaliff, seriously assaulted Jeremiah Lowery, thereby causing his death on 26th of November, 1876 :— Slightly in- kneed ; shaves all his face ; brown eyes, regular nose, dark fresh complexion, full face, stout make, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 26 years of age, dark hair; wore a jerry hat, brown cloth coat, tweed trowsers and vest; is a farmer's son. DESCRIPTION of James O'Brien, native of Kil- cootry, who stands charged with having, on the 23rd December, 1876, in the barony of Clogher, parish of Donacavey, committed serious assault upon James Donnelly, and with having absconded after entering into bail for his appearance at Quarter Sessions:— Gray eyes, regular nosiPpale complexion, medium make, 5 feet' 7 inches high, about 30 years of age, dark hair, dark whiskers and moustache ; wore a dark coat, trowsers, and vest} is a stone- mason: He Is supposed to have gone to Glasgow. DESCRIPTION oi William Shields, native of Beragh, who stands, charged with haviog, on the 32nd oi December, 1876, in the. barony of East Omagh, parish of Termonmagulrk, burglariously entered the dwel ing- house oi Patrick Donnelly, oi Gortfinbar, and stolen therefrom, a five- pound note, and four shillings in silver:— Holds his head to right side; bald on top ofhead, gr » y eyf s, long hooked nose, dark complexion, round face, stout mane, 5 f et 10 inches high, about 50 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a black cap, black napped coat, cord trowsers, white moleskin vest. DESCRIPTION of 3 ewe sheep, the property of John Grady, which were stolen from off his laud at Carrowleigh, parish of Rathgormuck, barony of Upperthird, on the night of the 28th December, 1876:— 1. A large ewe, its wool white, its eyes more white in colour than usaal in sheep, and has four teats on dug. 2. Wexford, DESCRIPTION of Thomas Kavanagh, native of Cronesilla, Anghrim, county Wicklow, who stands charged with having, on Ihe night oi 5th February, 1875, at Wheelagower, in the barony of Scarawalsh, parish of Templeshambo, stolen a jennet from Justin Sutton:'— Small mole on nose, and cut- mark on upper ! ip ; gray eyes, small nose, s* ndy complexion, round face, stout mxke, 5 feet 7 inches high, about 45 ye » rs of age, Sandy ha; r turning gray, small sandy whiskers) wore a round and soit hat, dark frieze s ck- make coat, coid trowsers, and strong laced boots; is alieady described in Hue- and- Cry of 31st October, 1876, under the head of " Wexford," and required for having stolen 3 asres; is a noted rogue, and may be found at fairs, dealing in asses, & c. DESCRIPTION oi Maria Kirwin, having not fixed residerce, who stands charged with having, on the nigh* of 20th November, 1876, in the barony of Forth, parish of Kilbride, Glunn, feloniously broken into, or out oi, the public house of Mrs. Johanna Larkin, and taken therefrom a blue serge dress, a brown cloth jacket trimmed with quilted silk, a black quilted satinette petticoat, and a bottle of brandy:— Blue eyes, ordinary nose, sallow complex- ion, round face, stout make, 5 feet 4 inches high, about 35 years of age, fair hair; wore a green linsey dress, a black and white straw hat, old black and white shawl.
