It appoj, re from reliable and private information that th « offence was committed by John Weston alias Ringwood, alias Smith, alias Charley Rodgers, Weston being his correct name, cattle or horse dealer, born at Bath, no fixed residence, age 73, but looks younger, and has the appearance of a " dapper old gentleman," 6 feet 6 inches ia height, fresh complexion, gray eyes, gray hair, bald on top of head, not sure whether he is wearing either whiskers or moustache, rather stout build, can read • und write, large cut across bridird of nose, small scar back of calf of right leg. When last gran was dressed in gray mixture suit, light mackintosh overcoat, ^ e& tou is an old offender. Has been irt custody at Durham, Manchester, Salford, & c. At the time tho horse was obtained, he, Wesson, was in the company of two much younger men, dressed like grooms or horse dealers, and if they be known and found they will be jointly charged with Weston.
