ABSCONDED from Llantrissant, in this district, on the 4th instant, charged with stealing the under- mentioned articles —- Samuel Weller, a barber, native of Birmingham or Manchester, 87 Jears of age, abau-. 6 feet 10 inches high, fresh complexion, shaves clean, except moustache, which he kfeps very long, oark hair, inclines to cnrl, ba d oa top of head, long visega, ar'd stoops when walki ig ; dressed in an oH brown cloth overcoat ( no dress coat), old dark gray trow6ers, and old black soft billycock hut with wide brim, and turns up at side*. The week before he absconded he said he was going to Ireland to sse how his trade was going ou in that Country. Description of th? articles stolen:— A jeweller's box, covered with brown oilcloth, and a small strap attached; a lady's gold levar watch, with Winding chain broken ; a silver lever watch, with cream colour dial, and a piece broken out of it; two silver verge hunting watches ; a silver Geneva watch, and a huye quantity of common jewellery, sach as ladies' lockets, broaches, and watch keys, Ac. please arrest if found, ai d communicate with Mr. Superintendent J. DESCRIPTION of Thomas Murphy who stands charged with having, on the 8th day of November, 1876, in the borough of Kilkenny, parish of St. Mary's, unlawfully sold a bullock, the property of his master, James Dowling, of Ballyritg, and absconded with the money received for said bullock, and also with a dark frieze coat belonging to James Dowling:— Fresh cut marie over left eye, slightly pock marked ; regular nose, fresh complexion, liesti face, stout make, 6 feet 8 inctes high, about 28 years of age red whiskers and hair; wore a blaek frock coat, corduroy troweers, double- breasted vest, and probably dark frieae great coat; is a labourer. DESCRIPTION of a man, name unknown, who stands charged with having, on the 17th instant, at Tullamore, barony of Ballycowan, parish of Kilbride, feloniously ft >' en an overcoat and rag. which he pawned at Tullamore same evening:— Abou1; 4* years of age, 6 feet 7 inches high, red round full lace, rather stout make; wore a long brown coat, coTd trowsers, low felt hat, and red woollen muffler. ' I his man travels from fair to fair as a pig jobber or drover, and may now be met with at some of the fairs in Roscommon, Galway, or Westmeath. He is of intempera'e habits. DESCRIPTION of John M'Coy, who stales he is a native of 4, John- street, Belfast, arid stands charged with having, on the 25th September, 187fi, in tie barony of Kilmaine, parish of Ballinrobe, failed to appear at the Quarter Sessions of Ballinrobe, having been bailed to appear thereat to take his trial on a charge of pickiig the pocket of Denis Kelly at the fair of Balla on the 26th September, 1876:— Slightly pockpitted, scum on left eye; intelligent respectable appearance; round shoulders, very high lorehead, blue eyes, regular nose, florid complexion, regular face, stout imke, 6 feet 8 inches high, about 87 or 40 years of age, light brown hair; wore a brown top coat, cross- bar tweed coat, dark trowsers and vest. This woman gave birth to a child in the house ot Sarah A. Hagan, Killycolps, on the 31st July, when she stated her name, & c,, was as above given.
