James Higgings— Cut mark on corner of left eye- brow ; has a Northern accent; blue eyes, long nose, fair complexion, thin face, slender make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 35 years of age, light brown hair; wore a new soft hat, tweed coat, trowsers, and vest, all new ; states he is a dealer in cloth, residing at Athlone, but appears to be a professional pick- pocket. 2. Rose HigginS— Black eye at present ; Northern accent ; brown eyes, regular nose, swarthy connex- ion. rsgular face, medium make, 4 feet 10 inches high, about 28 years of age, dark hair j wore a brown bonnet, dark brown eashmere dress. Paisley shawl; carried a basket on her arm like a country- woman: is wife to James Higgins. It is suspected these parties may have committed offences elsewhere. Is accompanied by his wife, a tall woman, red faced, who sings ballads and sells raper flowers, wears a thick velvet ret on her hair, has an infant in her arms and a little boy about 5 or 6 years old. This woman gave birth to a child in the house oi Sarah A. Hagan, Kiilycolps, on the 81st July, when she stated her name, & c., was as above given. A Warrant for her arreat has been issued.
