R.. native of Dromahair, county Leitrim, who stands charged with having, on ihe 24th June, 1876, in the barony of Moycullen, parish of Kilcummin, committed an indecent assault on Mary Kelly, of Clynagh:— Smart active appearance; brown eyes, regular nose fresh freckled complexion, rather long fice, proportionate make, 6 feet high about 24 years of age, red hair; wore a low round hat, gray tweed coat, trowsers and vest. P., of Ballyharigan, which were stolen off h-. s lauds at Ballyharigan, parish of Bovevagh, barony of Keenaght and county of Londonderry, between tbe 22nd and morning of the 24th July, 1876, viz.:—\. ewe pnd 4 lambs, Shropshire breed, white coloor, with brown faces; the ewe- marked with the lettfr O on forehead, and value for £ 2 sterling; the lambs value for £ 1 sterling cach. DESCRIPTION of John Conway, native of Redcastle, county Donegal, who stands charged wiih having, on the 26th July, 1876, in the barony of North- west Liberies, parish of Glendermott, stolen a horse and cart:— Large mole on left breast; gray eyes, regular nose, dark complexion, round fate, medium make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 19 years of age, dark brown hair; wore a black cap, dark blue reefing jacket, gray trowsers. Is an unattested recruit ot the Royal Artillery, and belonged to the Londonderry Militia. Description of the horse and cart. An old horse, 15 hands high, dun colour, dark legs, white star on forehead, some hair off the knees; cjrt painted blue, tbe property of Robert Ogilbie, of Greysteell, county Londonderry. DESCRIPHON of convict John Woods ( 9034), who has brokon the conditions of his licence, in not reporting himself to the Constabulary on change of residenco:— Convicted at Castlebar, county Mayo, at Spring Assizes, on I2ta March, 1872, for larceny, and sentenced to 5 years peaal servitude; 18 years of age on conviction, reads and writes a little, is a Roman Catholic, single, states he is a stoker's attendant, born at Liverpool; resided before con- viction at Ballycroy county Mayo, where he has friends residing; light, brown hai^, blue eyA, brown e> ebrows, long nose, regular mouth, small space between two h\> » t teeth in lywer jaw, fair complexion, small oval visage, a cut on first fi ger of left hand ; a cut on front of forehead, right side ; a small cut on cheek' near right e. e, a cut at right side of mouth, a sore mark on right side of neck, slender make, 5 feet 7 inches high. The above- named convict was released from Mount- joy Prison, 18th March, 1876, on an order of licence. This man reported himself to the Constabulary at Drogheda on the 1 Itb June, 1876, and stated that he would leave on that evening for Ballycroy, county mayo, but be has failed to report himself there, and his present whereabouts is unknown. In the event of his arrest, he should be dealt with under the 6 th section of the Prevention of Crimes Act, 84 and 35 Vic., chap. 112. DESCRIPTION of 8 persons, names unknown, who stand charged with having, on the night of the 17th June, 1876, in the barony of Demifore, parish of Killeagh, demanded an entrance into the dwelling of Daniel Murphy, of Ross, and, having been refused, fired two shots and threatened his life if he proceeded w th an ejectment process against a man named Harry Coyle:— 1. Unknown— Long thin face and nose, slight make, 5 feet 10 inches high, about 22 years of age; wore a hairy cap with peek, frieze frock coat, dark trowsers. 2. Unknown— Round face, stout make, 5 feet 6 inches high, about 25 years of age; wore a black jerry hat, frieze frock coat, dark trowsers. 8. Thomas Harris— Dark eyes, slightly cocked no°. e, florid complexion, full face, medium make, 5 feet 8 inches high, about 28 years of age, dark hair, slight brown beard and moustache; is a farmer's sou. 2. James M'Bennett— Gray eyes, long nose, fair complexion, slight make, 5 feet 9 inches high, about 20 years of age; wore a soft hat and black frock coat; is a school monitor. 3. Ned Burns— Smart appearance; gray eyes, regu- lar nose, sallow complexion, round face, 5 feet 5 inchoa high, about 20 years of age, no beard or whiskers; wore a cloth cap, dark tweed coat; is a tramping tailor. * 4. The above- named convict was released from Spike Island Prison, 18th March, 1875, on sn order of licence. He reported himself to the Constabulary at Ballaghaderreen on the 30th June, 1876, and sta'ed that he intended to change his residence to Galway town, and would report himself there; he has failed to do so, and his present whereabouts is unknown. r In the event of his arrest, he should be dealt with under the 5th section of the Prevention of Crimes Act, 84 and 35 Vie., chap. 112.
