No. 5837 WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7, 1876. CONTAINING The substance of all Informations received in cases of Felony and of Misdemeanors of an aggravated nature, and against Receivers of Stolen Goods, reputed Thieves, and Offenders escaped from Custody, with the time, the place, and the circumstance of the Offence. The Names of Persons charged with Offences who are known but not in custody, and a Description of those who are not known, their Appearance, Dress, and other marks of Identity. The Names of Accomplices and Accessories, with every particular which may lead to their Apprehension. A Description, as accurate as possible, of Property that has been stolen, and a minute Description of Stolen Horses for the purpose of tracing and recovering them. The Names and Descriptions of Deserters from the Army, and fff Absentees and Deserters from the Militia, should be forwarded on War Office Farms 88 and 88A, to the Editor, as above, for insertion in the POLICE GAZETTE. INFORMATIONS. MURDER AND MALICIOUSLY WOUKDIIG. On the 31st ultimo, the body of a female Child, about two months old, was found in a field of Mr. Wilson's, Manor House Farm, Kirkham. The body had lost both arms and a portion of the scalp ; tbe missing portion of scalp with some dirty calico cloths have been found on the brink of the River Derwent. Mr. Wood, Deputy Coroner, held an inquest on the evening of the 2nd instant, and from the medical evidence after a post- mortem examination of the remains, which they stated were those of a female child two months old, much decomposed, especially about the neck and chest, the collar bone fractured, and both arms missing. At the Coroner's inquest, the medical officers were of opinion that the child had been murdered, and had been in the water from 14 to 28 days at the least. The inquest is adjourned until the 9t, h instant. Information to be given to Superintendent Long, East Riding Constabulary, Norton- Malton, Yorkshire. — Bpw- street, June 6. ROBBERY AND LARCMY THE P1MOI. Stolen from the person in a public- house in Kendal, on the 3rd instant: a silver lever hunting Watch, capped at both sides, about half worn, no inside glass face, white dial, and centre seconds, the seconds pointer broken off, and No. of watch on face; had attached a common link albert Guard, with the fastener broken off. Information to be given to Chief Constable Wilkinson, Borough Police Office, Kendal, Westmorland.— Bow- street, June 7. Description of GEORGE HENRY UPTON, charged with stealing from the persen of Charles Needles, of Salt- fleetby, St. Peters : a Purse, containing £ 16 in Gold and Silver : he is 21 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, red hair, sandy whiskers, freckled face, walks erect, and surly looking; has a brother residing at Hillsborough, near Sheffield. In- formation to be given to Superintendent Thoraby, Louth, Lincolnshire, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— Bow- street, June 2. Stolen from the person of John Bright, at Newtown Fair : a Purse, containing £ 4 in Gold, and eleven £ 5 Notes of the North and South Wales Bank, Newtown and Oswestry. By JOHN BOWKER, alias WOWZER, and JOSIAH BEECH, horse dealers. Beech has been apprehended and committed for trial. Bowker is still at large, and for his apprehension a warrant has been issued : he is about 30 to 35 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, stout make, fresh complexion, brown hair, small whiskers, and bow- legged; dressed in light coat and vest, woollen cord trousers, and jirn- crow hat; he is well known to horse dealers, and is supposed to be in company with a man about 40 years, of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, swarthy complexion, black hair, cut short, clean shaved, appears as if blind with one eye, gipsy appear- ance, and attends fairs in England, and North and South Wales. They are now supposed to be in Ireland in company with ajpickpocket who attends horse and cattle fairs. Informa- tion to be given to Chief Constable Damily, Newtown, Mont- gomeryshire.— Bow- street, May 31. breast; a soft black billycock Hat; a pair of lace- up Boots, partly worn; a pair of grey worsted Stockings ; a white Towel; a pair of Scissors ; a chawl of Bacon; and i- lb. of Tea. Information to be given to Deputy Chief Constable Oswell, Stafford, or to Sergeant Barrett, Police Station, Penk- ridge, Staffordshire.— Bow- street, June 6. Between 10 p. m. on the 29th, and 5 a. m. on the 30thult., the cottage of Henry Jarvis, Middle Assenden, was broken into, and 4 lbs. of Bacon; an old Towel; If yards of Holland ; and a pair of Scissors stolen therein. Supposed by tramps. Information to be given to Superintendent Coates, Police Station, Henley- on- Thames, Oxon.— Bow- street, June 2. Between 9 a. m. and 3 p. m. on the 29th ultimo, the dwelling- house of Matthew Skipsey, of Sowerby, was broken and entered, and stolen therein : a brown mixture shooting Coat, with two pockets outside, one inside left breast; a black cloth Yest, single breasted ; a black silk Neckerchief ; a jean Jacket; a black felt Hat; and about 2 lbs. of cooked Bacon. Supposed by a tramp, who no doubt will be wearing the stolen coat and hat, as an old black cloth coat, and a small low- crowned hat, was found in the house. Information to be given to Deputy Chief Constable Walmsby, Northallerton, or to Inspector Nicholson, Thirsk, Yorkshire.— Bvw- street, June 2. Between- 12 p. m. cn the 31st ult. and 6 a. m. on the lst inst., the shop of Mr. John Jones, grocer and provision dealer, at Ball's Barn, Buckley, was broken and entered and stolen therein : about 6s. ia Copper Money, two small paltry Brooches, and a pair of old dark coloured Spectacles. Infor- mation to be given to Deputy Chief Constable Adams, Mold, Flintshire, or at any ef the Police Stations in the county of Flintshire.— Bow- street, June 2. About 2 a. m. on the 29th instant, a butcher's shop was broken into and a door Bolt stolen therein. By two men, one of whom was apprehended, the other escaped, and is about 28 years of age, 5 feet 3 or 4 inches high, and stoutly made; dressed in blue serge jacket, dark trousers, and cloth cap. Information to be given to Chief Constable Saggerson, Middlesbrough, Yorkshire.— Bow- street, May 31. During the hours of 12 midnight on the 23rd and 3 am. on the 24th instant, th « grocer's shop of Charles Catherall, of Higher Kinnerton Hope, was broken into, and 2s. lid. in Copper, about lib. o£ Cheese, a Loaf of Bread, and about 20 Eggs stolen therein. Information to be given to Deputy Chief Constable Adams, or to Inspector Minshull, Mold, Flintshire.— Bow- street, May 29. During the night of the 23rd instant, the Booking Office of Longford Railway Station was broken and entered and stolen therein : one Saloon Pistol, No. 1 size ; 30 or 40 Old and Foreign Coins, one marked ' Tag, Rag and Bobtail'; one an Isle of Man Coin, and one of the Bank of Montreal; a Cigar Case, dark green, steel fastenings, cameo front with a lady sitting on a lion's back; also 4s. in Copper Money. Information to be given to Superintendent Auston, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.— Bow- street, May 29. Between 4 p. m. on the 26th, and 4 a. m. on the 27th inst., the house of Elizabeth Rutter, the Yacht Inn, Woodbank, near Chester, was broken and entered, and stolen therein : 12s. in Copper Money ; a blaek or dark- coloured cloth Over- coat, far worn, with black velvet collar, dark horn buttons, two pockets outside skirts, one pocket inside left breast, lined with black alpaca, and supposed double- breasted ; a three- half- pint Bottle, containing Irish Whisky, labelled ' Ginger Wine'; and a three- half- pint Bottle of Gin. Information to be given to Superintendent Egerton, County Hall, Birken- head, Cheshire.— Bow- street, May 29. Stolen from a dwelling- house in Ashton- under- Lyne ( by housebreaking) between 3 30 and 4' 30 p. m. on the 26th inst.: a black cloth Coat, with pockets in left breast and on each hip ; a pair of black cloth Trousers ; a black cloth Yest: a pair of grey tweed Trousers ; a black lustre Dress, bound round bottom with peach; a black Russel cord Dress; a black and white striped Shawl; a grey rose coloured Shawl; black mourning Skirt; a buff print Dress, with black stripe ; a blaok rep Dress ; a white flannel Petticoat; a silk Umbrella ; and 5s. in Money. Information to be given to Chief Constable Dalgliesh, Borough Police Office, Town Hall, Ashton- under- Lyne, Lancashire.— Bow- street, May 29. Suffolk: a dark bay Welsh Pony, three years old, 13 hands high, clipped tail, and has bruises on the hocks from kicking. Information to be given to Superintendent Roberts, Clare, or to Sergeant Ward, Glemsford, Suffolk.— Bow- street, June 6. Absconded from Ashbourne, charged with stealing, on the the 27th ultimo, a Horse ( recovered) : a youth, about 17 years of age, 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, dark hair and eyes, swarthy complexion, and aquiline nose ; dressed in corduroy trousers, brown jacket with large white buttons, and imita- tion sealskin cap with peak ; has the appearance of a gipsy. £ 1 reward will be paid for his apprehension and conviction. Information to be given to Superintendent Whieldon, Con- stabulory Office, Ashbourne, Derbyshire.— Bow- st., June 6. Stolen from a field at Askham Bryan, between 8 p. m., 31st ult., and 7a. m., lst instant : a black horse Pony, 3 years old, 14J hands high, rather long square tail, has not been docked, and in fair condition ; the property of William Stephenson, farmer. Information to be given to Superinten- dent Kane, Tadcaster, York.— Bow- street, June 6. SAMUEL SMITH ( advertised in the Police Gazette of the 24th ultimo as having stolen a Horse from Basingstoke) has been apprehended at Hampton. The other man described with him is still at large, and a wan ant is issued for his apprehension: his name js EDWARD THOMAS, alias ROULAND, 28 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, brown hair, grey eyes, sallow complexion, cross on left arm, burn mark on right knee; right nostril and lip eaten away with cancer, dark whiskers and moustache, and has a piece of flesh- coloured sticking paper on the bad part of his nose ; he is a gipsey hawker. He was liberated from Portland Convict Prison on the 9th March, 1876, where he served seven years penal servitude for Horse stealing ( see Police Gazette of March 10, 1876, under Habitual Criminals Liberated). £ 1 reward will be paid for the apprehension of this man. Stolen from a field at Rostherne, during the night of the 28th instant: a grey she Ass, aged, in good condition, a crack in one fore hoof, and without shoes, the property of Mr. Wm. Carter. £ 1 reward will be given for the apprehension and conviction of the offender or offenders, and recovery of the Ass. Information to be given to Superintendent Aston, Altrincham, or to Sergeant Hollingworth, Lymm, or to P. C. Fowles, Rostherne, Cheshire.— Bm- street, May 31. LAE€ MY AID EMBSZZIEMEIl. Description of THOMAS WATTS, alias GEORGE KING, charged en a warrant with stealing a suit of new grey plaid tweed Clothes, a pair of Trousers, and a Vest of Oxford mixture cloth, from his lodgings at Luton on the 29th ultimo : a baker, about 24 years of age, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, fair complexion, light hair, no whiskers, tattooed on one arm with an anchor, on the other arm a woman's head ; dressed in old dark grey suit, deerstalker hat, old elastic- side shoes. He was traced in the direction of London, and enquiring the way to Notting- hill. He is known near Northampton, and has been recently convicted at Northampton of felony. He stated that he had been on board ship following his trade. Information to be given to Superintendent Tydeman, Police Station, Luton, Beds.— Bow- strut, June 7. Absconded from Northampton, charged with stealing about £ 12 in Gold, belonging to Mr. Walter, pawnbroker, Bridge- street, on the 3rd instant: GEORGE MORRIS ( name supposed to be fictitious), about 30 years of age, about 5 feet 4 inches high, florid complexion, sandy hair ( parted down the middle), whiskers, and moustache, is of gentlemanly manners, and appears well educated; dressed in brown tweed shooting coat, black scarf and pin, light trousers, side- spring boots, and black billycock bat. He entered the service of Mr. Walter as assistant on the 2nd instant, by means of a testimonial purporting to be from Henry Middle- ton., jeweller, 13, Eastborough, Yorkshire, his late employer, • which is supposed to be false. He left behind him a black American cloth Portmanteau, with leather fittings, containing a white Shirt, a grey Shirt, a pair of black cloth Trousers, two black cloth Coats, and a pair of side- spring Boots. Information to be given to Chief Constable Keenan, Borough Police, Northampton, - who holds a warrant for his apprehen- sion.— Bow- street, June 7. BURGLARY AMD MOUSE BREAKING. Between 12 p. m. on the 31st ultimo and 5a, m. on the lst instant the shop of John Jones, of Station- lane, Buckley, was broken into, and stolen therein : about 7s. in Copper Monies, 2 small black Brooches, and a pair of steel Spectacles. Information to be given to Detective Chief Constable Adams, or Inspector Minshull, Mold, Flintshire,— Bow- street, June 6. Between 9 p. m. on the 31st ultimo and 5 a. m. on the lst instant, the dwelling- house of Martin Tipton, at Huntinton, in the parish of Cannock, was broken and entered and stolen therein, supposed by a tramp : a boy's pilot Jacket, pockets on hips, and one inside left breast, partly worn ; a boy's white slop Jacket, pockets on hips and one inside left HORSE AIB CSATTLS STEALING. Absconded, charged with stealing a Horse and Dog Cart, at Dairy, on the 29th ultimo : THOMAS INGRAM, a groom, said to be a native of Newcastle- on- Tyne, 18 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches high, dark hair, no whiskers, sallow complexion, full round face, dark grey eyes, and short nose ; dressed in dark tweed coat and vest, half worn, dark tweed trousers, new, strong laced boots, and tweed cap with peak. Ha had been employed for some time as a groom, and on the night of the 29tli ultimo he got possession of his employer's Horse and Dog Cart, disposed of them in Ayr on tho follow- ing morning, and proceeded to Glasgow by train, and left Glasgow with the 10.40 p. m. train that night for Liverpool with another groom or stableman. They will probably seek employment at livery stables or with cabmen. A Sheriff's warrant has been granted for tbe apprehension of Ingram. Information to be given to the Chief Constable at Kircud- bright.— Bow- street, June 7. Stolen on the 24th ultimo, from a field at Glemsford, Description of two men, who are charged with four others, with stealing from a public- house, at Tranmere, Cheshire, on the lst instant: a cash Box, containing a £ 5 Bank of England Note, new, ' George Penk' written on the back; and about £ 5 in Gold and Silver Monies : One is from 35 to 40 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches high, light complexion, light brown curly hair, no moustache or whiskers, and light tuft of hair on end of chin ; dressed in light coat, and black billycock hat. The other is from 35 to 40 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, dark complexion, black hair and beard; dressed in dark clothes. Information to be given to Superintendent Egerton, County Hall, Abbey - street, Birkenhead, Cheshire. — Bow- street, June 7. Absconded from Stafford, charged with stealing on the 4th ultimo, from a beer- house : a red flannel Skirt, stamped in imitation of braid at the bottom ; a white calico Chemise; and a pair of white calico Drawers with 7 or 8 tucks ; a woman, prostitute, about 22 years of age, 5 feet 2 inches high, medium build, dark complexion and eyes, dark brown hair, and speaks the Lancashire dialect; dressed in brown shawl with white stripe near the edge, blaek and white plaid dress, white straw hat, and elastic- side boots. She stated that she came from Manchester. When in Stafford she passed as the wife of a bricklayer of Crewe, Cheshire, and was last seen in company with another bricklayer, near Wellington, Salop, who is supposed to be now working at some bridges or tun- nelling on a railway between Walsall and Water Orton, near Nottingham. Information to be given to Inspector Hackney, Guildhall, Stafford.— Bow street, June 7. CHARLES MIDDLEBROOK, the professional rink skater, who absconded from Coventry, stealing Monies and a Watch ( Watch recovered),, described in Police Gazette of the 24th ultimo, has been apprehended at Briddlington. In- formation to be given to Head Constable Norris, Coventry, Warwickshire.— Bow- street, June 6. Description of HENRY CHARLES TEWKESBURY, a clerk, who absconded from Salisbury, on the 16th ultimo, charged on a warrant with stealing from his employers, £ 13 10s., and other Monies : he is 17 years of age, 5 feet 4 or 5 inches high, dark brown hair, grey eyes, remarkably square face, slight whiskers and moustache, Btrongly made, walks very upright, is a member of the lst Wilts Rifle Corps; dressed in a dark blue morning coat, bound with black braid, dark mixture cloth vest and trousers, buttons marked ' Fleming, Salisbury,' black silk corded necktie, a small gold twisted pin, with a piece of red coral inserted ; and a low crowned black stiff felt hat. Information to be given to Head Constable Mathews, Salisbury, Wilts.— Bow- street,, June 2. Stolen during the night of the 24th instant, from the premises o£ Henry Collins, at Downley, West Wycombe : a cross cut Saw ( since recovered.) also a hand Saw, nearly new, with the lower part of handle cut off. By a man about 45 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, sandy hair, few whisners, very freckled face ; dressed in brown slop or jacket, Worsted cord trousers, blucher boots, and low- crowned hard hat. Is a tramping [ carpenter, carrying a flag basket, con- taining a hand Saw, supposed the stolen one. Information to be given to Superintendent Sargent, County Constabulary, High Wycombe, Bucks.— Bow- street, May 31. Absconded from Salisbury, on the 16th instant, stealing £ 13 10s, the moneys of his employers Williams and Bros., Salisbury : HENRY CHARLES TEWKESBURY, 17 yrs. of age, about 5 feet 4 inches high, dark brown hair, cut short, grey eyes, and walks very erect; dressed in dark blue over- coat, dark mixture cloth vest and trousers, and* black hard felt hat. A warrant has been granted for his apprehension. Information to be given to Head Constable Mathews, City Police Office, Salisbury, Wiltshire.— Bow- street, May 31. Absconded from Eastbourne on the 23rd instant, charged with stealing a silver Geneva Watch ( recovered), and 9s. 6d.: a woman, about 48 years of age, about 5 feet 3 inches high, fresh complexion, dark eyes, dark bair, inclined to curl, and medium figure ; dressed" in black bonnet, trimmed with white flowers, blaek cloth jacket, black polonaise, grey drab mohair dress with one deep flounce, spring- side boots. She la a widow, and gains her livelihood by making baby- linen. Information to be given to Superintendent Newnham, East- borne, Sussex.— Menu- street, May 31. Absconded on the 17th instant, from Newington Butts, embezzling £ 8 : WILLIAM JAMES BARTLETT, late of 56, Melton- road, Heme Hill, 29 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, fresh complexion, long auburn hair and whiskers, gentlemanly appearance ; likely to go to America. Warrant issued. — Metropolitan Police, L Division, May 29. Absconded OK the 17th instant, from Hercules- place, Holloway- road, embezzling £ 6 lis. 8d. : a man, 24 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches higb, fresh complexion, light bair, full faee, Blight moustache, and no whiskers; dressed as a butcher.— Metropolitan Police, Y Division, May 29. Absconded, 18th, from Thornhill- square, Islington, embezzling £ 15 : a man, 25 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, slim build, complexion, hair, whiskers, and moustache ( slight) dark; dress, grey suit, black felt hat.— Metropolitan Police, N Division, May 29, Absconded, 23rd instant, from Somerset- street, Mary lebone, stealing £ 7 : a youth, 18 years of age, 5 feet 2 inches high, good looking, and tattoo marks on arms ; dressed in black cloth trousers, dark overcoat ( too large for him), and black billyceck hat. He says he has served in the Navy.— Metropolitan Police, D Division, May 29. Charged on a warrant with stealing a suit of Black ' Rothes, the property of Joseph Furnandez, in Hull, on the 13th instant : RICHARD RIDER, an American, 32 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, black moustache, dark hair and complexion, and higb cheek bones ; dressed in brown cloth- ing. He will probably endeavour to return to America. Information to be given to Chief Constable Cook,' Hull, York- shire.— Bow- street, May 29. Absconded fiom Ipswich, in March last, charged with embezzlement : JAMES NEWMAN URCH, 30 to 35 years of age, about 5 feet 7 inches high, fresh complexion, light hair, full beard and moustache, round faee, full eyes, rather short neck, square shoulders, walks erect; he has been employed in stationer's and bookseller's shops, is ot good address, and of gentlemanly appearance. Information to be given to Head Constable Mason, Police Office, Town Hall, Ipswich, Suffolk, who holds a warrant for his apprehension. - Bow- street, May 29. Description of CHARLES WEBB, charged with steal- ing 19s.; the property of Mr. John Darrall, Cannock : he is 27 years of age, 6 feet high, slender build, whiskers shaved off, tuft of hair on chin, heavy black moustache, dark complexion, thin long face, black hair parted down the front, and walks erect, has been a soldier; dressed in moleskin trousers, short pilot jacket much worn, black billycock hat, and elastic- side boots. Information to be given to Superintendent Hill, Brownhills, near Walsall, or to Serjeant Evans, Cannock, Staffordshire, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— — Bow- street, May 29. Description of two men, charged with stealing £ 7 10s. in Gold and a silver Geneva Watcb, metaidome. No. 21133 : one 23 years of age, about 5 feet 8 inches high, long features, wears a hard billycock hat. The other 20 years of age, about 5 feet 6 inches high, round chubby features, wears an apron wrapped round his waist, and soft billycock hat, turned up at . sides, They were both dressed in dark clothes, and had the appearance ef curriers, mechanics, or shoe- rivetters. Information to he given to Superintendent Haigh, Police Office, Kidderminster, Worcestershire.— Bow- street, May 29. FELONIES. ( Not otherwise described). Absconded, charged with an assault, with intent to ravish, at Armadale, near Bathgate, on the lst ultimo: ABRAHAM BENNETT, a miner, a native of Crofthead, Linlithgowshire, brought up at Armadale, and latterly resided at Bowhouse Rows, Stirlingshire, 21 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, long faee, brown complexion, rather red hair, fair whiskers ( if any), small and thin, small straight nose, thin cheeks, good teeth, small mouth, grey eyes, fair eyebrows, slender make, scar on little finger of right hand, a little sun- freckled on forehead, and red spots on the face ; dressed iu light grey striped cap, with peak of same material, blue cloth shooting coat, dark grey tweed trousers, light grey tweed vest, blaek and white cheeked or shepherd tartan neck- erchief, white woollen socks, and blucher boots ; he is of Irish extraction, rather talkative, has been in custody for assault and breaches of the peace, and was only a few days out of prison, after undergoing a sentence of 4 months, for stealing whisky, by housebreaking, from a store at Armadale. A sheriff's warrant has been grafted for his apprehension. Information to be given to the Chief Constable of Linlith- gow, Linlithgowshire.— Bow- street, June 2. FRAUDS AMD AGGRAVATED MISDEMEANOURS, Absconded, charged with fraud : ISAAC MORGAN, late of 37, Essex- street, Strand, 50 years of age, 5 ft. 8 ins. high, dark complexion, hair turning grty, short beard and moustache, and bow legged; dressed respectably. Warrant issued.— Metropolitan Police, E Division, June 7. Description of a man charged with obtaining Goods and Money to the amount of £ 7, by tendering a false Cheque ( drawn on Messrs. Coutts and Co., in favour of Claude Fane) on an hotel keeper at Weymouth, on the evening of the lst instant : from 30 to 35 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches higb, dark complexion, very much sunburnt, dark hair and whiskers ( cut rather shoit), dark moustache, and high square broad forehead ; dressed in a dark brown suit, dark overcoat, and dark felt hat; wore rings ( one of them silver), and a silver or steel scarf pin in the form of a driving bit, with cross bar attached, and had a small black leather bag with him. He gave the name of CAPT. CLAUDE FANE, and stated that he returned from India with the Prince of Wales ; that he had eervsd in a cavalry regiment; and that he had been staying at the Castle Hotel, Taunton. He left by the South Western train on the morning of the 2nd instant; is of good address, and is fond of talking about officers, horse racing, jockeys, & c., and appears to be well acquainted with gentle- men belonging to the Royal Navy. This man was described in the Police Gazette of March 29, also on May 17, for similar offences at Maidstone and Luton. He representted that lie was a brother of Mr. Gerrish ot that village, and that he was collecting funds to obtain the admittance into the Royal Hospital for incurables, London, of a young man who was paralysed in consequence of a railway accident. He is a Neapolitan by birth, and has been a gentleman's servant and ' boots' at hotels; was sentenced to three months imprisonment at Manchester, in December, 1875, for being found in a bed- room in an hotel with a felonious intent, and is now charged with other hotel robberies in that city.
