INFORMATIONS. MURDER AND MALICIOUSLY WOUNDING, Further information respecting the dead body of a newly born male child, found in a field adjoining the towing path of the Grand Junction Canal, at Water Eton, advertised in the Police Gazette of the 28th ult. : SARAH GARNER, of Braunston, a boatwoman, is committed for trial at the Lent Assizes, ou tbe charge of wilfully murdering of the said child. Information to be given to the Chief Constable, Aylesbury, or to Superintendent Hedley, Police Fenny Stratford, Bucks.— Bow- street, January 31. On the 24th instant, the body of a newly born male child was found in a manure heap, near the Railway Station, Tewkesbury, with a piece of calico tied twice round the neck, the body was wrapped in a part of a female's night dress, the outside wrapper being a large peice of light glazed paper, 4 feet by 3 feet 3 inches, and figures upon it, such as aroused in draper's shops. At the coroner's inquest, a verdict of ' Wilful Murder against some person or persons unknown' was returned. Information to be given to Superintendent Day, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.— Bow- street, January 28. On the morning of the 21st instant, the Body of a newly- born male Infant, was found wrapped iu brown paper, in Sinnock's- square, Hastings. At the coroner's inquest, a verdict of ' Wiif ul Murder against some person or persons unknown,' was returned. Information to be given to Chief Superintendent Glenister, Town Hall, Hastings, Sussex.— Bow- street, January 26. in Coppers, and an old Russian Silver Coin. By two men : one tall, very dark complexion, dark whiskers and dressed in dark clothes : the other short, and dressed in lif. ht clothes. Information to be given to Chief Superintendent Ivins, Wellington, Salop.— Bow- street, January 31. Stolen from different persons in Bolton on the lst inst. : 1 silver English lever Watch, No. 20249, with engine- turued cases. On tbe 12th instant: a gold Scarf Pin, in the form of a greyhound's head. On the 14th instant : 1 silver lever Watch, No. 6016, with engine- turned cases and plain seconds. On tbe 22nd instant : 1 silver lever Wat eh, No. 3353, with the name of ' Robt. Ratcliffe' engraved on the outside case ; and a silver lever Watch, No. 41519. maker's name ' J. J. Hargraves, 108, Bold- street, Liverpool.' Or the 21st instant: a silver Geneva Watch, No. 38034, or 5434. Information to be given to Chief Constable Beech, Bolton, Lancashire.— Bow- street, January 26. Stolen from the person of Elijah Atkins, at Hands worth, about 10' 30 p. m. on tho 21st instant: a gold keyless open- face Watcb, chronometer balance, jewelled throughout, engine- turned case, white dial, has'E. A.' engraved ou the back, No. 30904. A reward of £ 5 will be paid by the owner on recovery of the Watch and conviction of the offender or offenders. Information to be given to Sergeant Steele, Police Station, Haudsworth, near Birmingham, Warwick- shire.— Bow- street, January 26. BUMGM& Y AltD HOUSE 8REASIBG. Between 12 midnight and 6 a. m. on the 29th instant, the office at the North Hants Iron Foundry, Basingstoke, v. as broken and entered and stolen therein.: £ 2 worth of Postage Office, | and Receipt Stamps, a few Cigars'; au old brown Coat, split under left arm; and a very old sacking Slop, very ragged under left arm. Also stolen about the same time, 3s. 3d. iu Copper, and 5s. in Postage Stamps from the Goods Office of the London and South Western Railway Station, by breaking and entering the same. Supposed by a tramp who slept at a common lodging- house in Basingstoke the two nights pre- vious ; rather decently dressed in high black felt hat, black cloth caat with pockets at sides, dark trousers, aud sidespriug boots ; about 35 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, rather 3 years old, about 12 hands higb, a hole punched in off ear, branded with letter ' H' on the off side of the neck, and the tip of tail cut oil'; the property of Mr. H. Harvey, South Tawton. This Pony is supposed to have been seen in the neighbourhood of Bradstone near Tavistock. Whoever will give such information as wiil lead to the recovery of the Pony, shall receive £ 1 reward. Stolen from a field at Kinley, on the 22ud instant: three cross- bred tup Lambs, between tbe Shropshire Southdown and Welsh, white faces and long tails ; the property of Thos. Jervis. Information to be given to Chief Superintendent Ivies, Wellington, or to Sergeant Merricks, Oaken Gates, Salop.— Bow- street, January 28. Description of R. P. G. LORD, charged with horse steal- ing : 25 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches high, sallow complexion, black hair, slight black whiskers and moustache, and of gen- tlemanly appearance ; i3 a veterinary surgeon and horse dealer, and was formerly in bussiness at Jermyn- street, Hay- market, and White Horse- street, Piccadilly. Information to be given to Superintendent Williamson, Detective Depart- ment, Great Scotland- yard, who holds a warrant for his apprehension,— Metropolitan Police, A Division, Jan. 26. Absconded on the 10th instant, charged with Sheep stealing at Elton: WILLIAM MARLEW, labourer, of Elton, 25 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, grey eyes, light hair, and large nose ; dressed in arr old black frock coat, light fustian trousers, and old black billycock hat. Description of WILLIAM LEEK, who is charged on a warrant with forging Bills of Exchange to the value of £ 75 at Harrogate, on the 15th and 25th November last, and who absconded from Harrogate, on the 10th instant: 32 years of age, 5 feet inches high, dark complexion, sup- posed gTey eyes, long wavey black hair, slightly streaked with grey, thin black whiskers, moustache, aud beard, a whitesmith, last resided at Harrogate, of imperfect education, long face, bigh cheek bones, round shouldered, aud walks - with his bead hanging down ; dressed in black serge cloth coat with two pocketn outside, fancy cloth double- breasted vest black ground with purple diamond spots, chocolate or shaded brown trousers, black silk necktie, soft black billy- cock hat, and lace- up boots. He frequents theatres, music halls, negro entertainments, & c. A reward of £ 5 will be paid' for his apprehension. Information to be given to Superintendent Carr, North Riding Constabulary, Knares- borough.— Bow- street, January 24. ROBBERY MD LAi& CiSWY FROB THE PERSON. Stolen from the person of Mr. Lockhart M. St. Clair, the racecourse at the Windsor Steeplechases, on the 26th instant: a ailver- case engine- turned hunting Watch, maker Bennett, London. No. 16886, has a small opening in front case showing the dial, the cases are inlaid with black, and there is a small space for initials surrounded by a black garter. From the person of Mr. A. Sutherland, at the Windsor Steeplechases, on tbe 26th inst. : au open face silver Watch. Also on the 27t. h instant., at the Windsor Steeplechases : from the person of Mr. Augustus Clarkson, a gold diamond Scarf Pin. Information to be given to Superintendent Irenionger, Berks Constabulary, Maidenhead. - Bow- street, January 31. Stolen from tbe person of Joseph Gittins, on the highway near Wellington, about 10' 45 p m. ou' 29th instant: a patent lever silver Watch, jewelled in ten holes, maker Stiaw, Leicester, a silver Guard, and a strong leather clasp Purse much worn, containing 10s. iu Gold, 7s, 6d, in Silver, 4£ d' dressing combs, which he carries in a black leather case. Iuformation to be given to Head Constable Hibberd, Basing- stoke, Hants.— Bow- street, January 31. Between 10 p. m. on the 27th and 6 a. m, on the 28th inst,, the Bull's Head Inn, Plumpton, near Penrith, was broken and entered, and stolen therein : a single- breasted grey witney Overcoat, about half worn, faded black velvet collar, grey winsey lining, and black wood buttons; 2s. 4d. Silver and 5s. in Copper. Supposed by a tramp. Iuformation to be given to Superintendent Fowler, Penrith, or at the County Chief Constable's Office, Carlisle, Cumberland.— Bow street, January 3], Stolen on the 20th instant, by means of house- breaking, at Ditcheat : a black cloth frock Coat, new, with black striped lining ; a new pair of black cloth Trousers, with a small darn in one leg, close below tbe knee near the seam ; a best black Jacket and Vest; a black bowler Hat; a cashmere Sbawl, white, intermixed with other colours, with white fringe and border; and a Church Service, with ' Jane Chauning' written in it. Information to be given to Deputy Chief Constable Bisgood, Glastonbury, or to Sergeant Williams, Shepton Mallet, Somersetshire. — Bow- street, January 26. On the 30th November, 1875, the lockup shop of Messrs. Barwick Brothers, watch manufacturers and jewellers, Sheep- street, Skipton, was broken and entered, and stolen therein : about twenty- five gold Mourning Rings, forty- five ladies' gold Gem Riugs, forty gold Signet Rings, twenty gold Alberts, eighteen gold Necklets, twenty- five silver English lever Watches, Bix gold Euglish lever Watches, forty silver Swiss Watches, ten gold Swiss Watches, some of which bear Barwick Brothers' name and address, and a quautity of gold Brooches, including a large cameo brooch. Supposed by two men nf the following description : JOHN SYKES, alias THOMAS LEONARD, alias COCKNEY JOHNNY, 28 years of age, 5 feet ( 5 or 7 inches high, dark complexion and hair, scars on left side of forehead, last residence Birkenhead ; dressed in a mixture suit ard blue cloth overcoat. DANIEL McELIAY, alias SCOTCH DAN, 28 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, sallow complexion, dark hair inclined to curl, is a printer, well educated, last residence Leeds. A reward of £- 25 will be paid to any person giving such in- formation as will lead to the apprehension of the offender or offenders and recovery of the property. Hw- ifiijg.- ojdprxdb m- sw. n •> Supposed stolen about six weeks or two months since, from the Forest of Dartmoor : a dark bay mare Pony, coming Description of CHARLES FARLEY, late a clerk in the employment of Pickford and Co., at Truro, who is charged with embezzling several sums of Money : he is about 18 or 19 years of age, about 5 feet 8 inches high, light complexion and hair, no whiskers, very slight moustache, tolerably upright, but not very smart nor active; dressed in dark clothes, pilot cloth overcoat, and deerstalker hat; he is a native of Truro, which place he left on the 20th instant. In- formation to be given to Superintendent Angel, Borough Police Station, Truro, Cornwall, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— Bow- street, January 31. Stolen on the 27th instant, from a dwelling- house at Old Brompton, Chatham : a lady's small open- face silver Watch, with white flowered dial, and hair Guard attached; a double- breasted black cloth Vest; a striped linen Shirt; a pair of men's elastic- side Shoes; a hard felt Hat; aud a white silk Handkerchief. By a soldier belonging to the 106th Regiment, who was on furlough, and had been staying at the house, about 24 years of age, about 5 feet 8 inches higb, fresh complexion, light brown hair, no whiskers or moustache ; dressed in fine blue cloth monkey jacket, blue cloth trousers, aud the stolen shoes, shirt, vest, and hat. Information to be given to Superintendent Coppinger, Kent Constabulary, Chatham,— Bow- street, January 31. Description' of WILLIAM COMER, a labourer, of Southmolton, a convict licence holder, charged on a warrant with stealing, on the 27th instant, two Coats, two pair of Trousers, and a Waistcoat ( since recovered), at Warkleigh, Devon : he is 28 years of age, 5 feet 8 iuches high, fresh complexion, brown hair, dark brown whiskers, banners of war, a heart, anchor, cross and wreath on left aim, and a crucifix and seaman on rigbt arm ; dressed in a dark monkey jacket and waistcoat, cord trousers, navvy boots, and billy- cock hat. He is supposed to be working his way to MidJles- brough- 011- Tees, or trying to obtain a ship. Iufm mation to be given to Superintendent Wood, B Division, Devon Con- stabulary, South Molton, who holds a warrant for his appre- hension.—' Bow- street, January 31. Absconded from Penkridge, about tbe 7th instant, embezzling £ 5 18s. the monies of Mr. Henry B. Burslem : WILLIAM MOORE, a tailor, 36 years of age, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches higb, slender build, dark sallow complexion, black curly hair, black whiskers and moustache, black eyes, sharp features, bow legged, aud appears to be weak in the kuees when walking ; dressed in a dark russet overcoat, dark coat, dark grey vest and trousers, and a tall deerstalker hat; he is a native of Betley, near Newcastle- under- Lyne. Information to be given to Deputv Chief Coustable Oswell, Stafford, or to Sergeant Barrett, Police Station, Penkridge, Staffordshire, who holds a warrant for his apprehension. — Bow- street, January 28. Stolen on the 24lh instant, from a dwelling- house iu Gloucester- street, Farringdon; a black leather Bag, containing ten pairs of dentist's Forceps, Sealers, Stoppers, gold Stopping, model Trays, composition hand Glass, and Teetb, tbe property of Mr.- Butler, dentist. Information to be given to Superintendent Reice, Constabulary Office, Farringdon, Berks. — Bow- street, January 28. Absconded on the 25th instant, from Sun- street, Shore- ditch, stealing £ 35 : a man, 31 years of age, 6 feet high, dark complexion and hair, beard on chin and moustache dark brown; dressed in dark check pattern shooting jacket, blue Scotch cap with peak, is a porter, and formerly a private in the 69th Foot.— Metropolitan Police-, G Division, January 28. Stolen on the 21st instant, from 5, Kensington Gore : a gold Chatelaine, ornamented with diamonds and pearls. By a woman, 30 to 35 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, dark complexion, hair, and eyes ; dressed in black jacket and bonnet, aud aide - spring boots;— Metropolitan Police, B Division, Jwwary 28. Stolen frem a vessel in the harbour of- Berwick- on- Tweed, on the 24th instant: a dark blue shooting Coat, with velvet collar, half worn. Supposed by a youth, about 16- yrs* of age- abroad red; fate, and- reddish hair; dressed in gutta percha waterproof coat, dirty coloured trousers, lace- up boots, wideawake hat, and leather leggings; carried a print bag, with some clothes in it, and is cf dirty appearance. He left Berwick- on- Tweed early- on the- 24th instant, and is- sup- posed to have gone South. Information to be given to Head Constable Garden, Berwick- on- Tweed, Northumberland.— Bow- street, January 26. Stolen from the quartermaster's stores, Maidstone Barracks, sometime during the night of the 22nd instant: a plaid Coat and Vest ; a " blue serge Waistcoat and pair of Trousers; an old black Suit, much worn ; a brown shooting Suit, little worn, by carrying a gun on the shoulder ; an old black shooting Suit, much worn ; several pairs of Socks ; the contents of a Mappin's Dressing- case, Razors, Brushes, & c. ( ivory) ; a pair of lace shootipg Boots ; a pair of military spring- side Boots, new ; two odd Boots, one worn, one nearly new, spring sides ; two pairs of patent leather Boots, worn ; Drawers, Night Shirts, and Guernseys ; two military flannel Shirts; the property of Captain Safford, 97th Regiment of Foot. Bv four deserters of the following description : JOHN MURPHY, private of the 50th Regiment of Foot, 21 years of age, 5 feet 5-]? inches high, fresh complexion, and dark brown hair ; dressed in the stolen clothes ; enlisted 22nd of January, 1875, at Woolwich, native of Lambeth, Surrey, and a labourer by trade. THOMAS KING, private of the 97th Regiment of Foot, 23 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, fresh complexion, brown hair, and dark eyes ; dressed in part of the stolen clothes; enlisted 20th March, 1871, at West- minster, and was born at Bethnal- grei n. GEORGE STEPHENS, private of the 50th Rpgiment ( f Foot, 20 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, fair complexion, brown hair, and grey eyes; dressed in part of the Btolen clothes; enlisted 31st December, 1873, at Westminster, born at Notting- bill, London, and a groom by trade. THOMAS CARTER, private of the 50th Regiment of Foot, 23 years of age, 5 feet 7\ inches high, fresh complexion, brown hair, grey eyes, and tattooed on right arm ; dressed in part of the stolen clothes; enlisted lst October, 1874. at Maidstone, born at St. John's, Chatham, and a labourer by trade. Information to be given to the Head Constable, Police Office, Maidstone, Kent.— Bow- street, January 26. Stolen on tbe 22nd instant, from Freeman- street, Spital- fields : a large leather Bag, containing 23 pairs of gold Ear- rings, 30 ladies' gold Neck Chain?, 18 gold Albert Chains, 24 Keeper Rings ( stamped 9 carat), 1 silver Snuff Box, 2 silver - mounted Scent Bottles, 18 Mourning Rings, 36 Wedding Rings, 6 Scarf Pins, 3 lady's gold Geneva Watches, 24 Watch Guards, 2 small Bells, 12 pairs of silver Ear Wires, 36 steel Hands ( 12 second, 24 minute), and a quantity of bead Neck Chains. By two men, one, 30 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, dark complexion and hair, aaid small black moustache ; dressed in black frock coat, striped trousers, side- spring- boots, and soft felt hat. The other, 26 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, and dressed in dark clothes.— Metropolitan Police, H Division, January 26, Stolen on the 18th instant, from 20, Knowle- road, Brixton : 15 Spoons ( four table, five tea, ' B.,' three old- fashioned egg, three dessert, one ' A. S. B.,' one ' M. A. B. B., one ' Alicia'), plain pattern ; 2 Forks ( one large, one small), ' A. S. B.;' 1 Spoon and Fork, ' B. B. F. from G. L. P. ;' one Butter Kuife, 1 A. S. B. B..' fiddle pattern— all silver ; 1 pair of plated Sugar Tongs, ' F. ;' and a- large red and yellow Carpet Bag. By a woman, 35 years of age, 5 feet 4 inches high, sallow complexion, dark brown hair, grey eyes, high cheekbones, Irish accent; dressed in black stuff dress, shawl and bonnet.— Metropolitan Police, W Division, January 24. Description of WILLIAM LANE, charged with steal- ing a Gun at Dartford ou the 16th instant ( since recovered) : about 23 years of age, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, pale face, and stoops ; dressed in an old black frock coat, dirty fustian troupers, and shabby black velvet cap ; a hurdle gate maker. Has been convicted of burglary, and is supposed to be lodging at Woolwich. Information to be given to Superintendent Fread, Kent Constabulary, Dartford.— Bow- street, Jan. 24. Absconded on the 20th ultimo, from Buxted, Sussex, taking with him the following Watches, which he had to repair: an open- face silver English lever Watch, maker supposed Cruudell, Tuubridge Wells ; a silver lever hunting Watcb, engine- turned cases, maker William Hislop, Tun- bridge Wells and Clerkenwell, London, No. 22725 ; a single- case silver lever Watch, enamelled face, black Roman figures, black hands, capped and jewelled in all holes, a railway engine, with steam blowing off, painted red on face, and the words ' Railway Timekeeper' underneath in red letters, and ' Johnson, Liverpool,' across the face, compen- sation balance, No. 1451, maker Johnson, Liverpool;' a silver Geneva lever Watch, maker Millett, No. 4213. A watchmaker, about 35 years of age, 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, fresh complexion, heavy sullen countenance, dark eyes, dark red hair, full bushy whiskers and moustache, and well built; dressed in a black waterproof overcoat, black frock coat underneath, high- crowned brown felt hat, and a pair of long patent leather leggings. Information to be given to Superintendent Peerless, East Sussex Constabulary, Uckfield. -— Bow- street, Janua- y 24. dark moustache, rather stout build, slight impediment in his speech, walks very erect, and belongs to the Scarborough Militia; dressed in dark mixture suit, much worn, blucher boots, black felt hat, much worn, with narrow brim ; he has been recently employed by cattle dealers and pig jobbers as a drover, and is supposed to be well known at Scarborough, and the principal towns in Durham and North Yorkshire, Information to be given to Superintendent Hunter, Police Station, Heworth, Yorkshire, who holds a warrant for his apprehension, or to Inspwtor Ellerby, North Riding Con- stabulary, Easingwold,— Wpw- treet, January 31. Absconded from Eastnor, since the 20th instant, charged with obtaining Food, & c. ( by false pretences) to the value of £ 43 10s. from Mr. John Ingram, of the ' Somers Arms' hotel. Eastnor, Herefordshire ; a man, about 20 years of age, 5 feet 4 inches high, sallow complexion, sickly looking, thin make, full eyes, feminine voice, black hair, very little black whiskers and moustache, well educated, and can speak different languages ; dressed in brown inverness coat, nearly down to his heels, blacu trousers, and deerstalker hat. No. 7522, 45 years of age, 5 feet 5| inches high, dark browu hair, blind right eye, and rup- tured left side ; was convicted at Maidstone, on the 8th Jan., 1874, of larceny, and sentenced to two years imprisonment. Information to be given to the Head Constable, Police Ofiice, Maidstone, Kent.— Bow- street, January 28. Description of persons who have failed to report them- selves : JOHN H. W. COATES, license holder Reg. No. 376, convicted at Bradford Sessions, 28th June, 1869, aud sentenced to 7 years penal servitude, for obtaining goods by false pretences, and was discharged from Brixton Prison, on 5th December, 1874, 36 years of age, 5 feet 5£ inches high, brown hair, fresh complexion, blue eyes ( nearly blind of left), and ruptured right side. This man is also charged on a warrant with felony. JOHN KILROY, alias DALEY, alias WILLIAM GIBSON, license- holder Reg. No. 9751, convicted at Don- caster Sessions, 12th April, 1871, and teuteuced to 5 years penal servitude, for obtaining goods by false pretences, and was discharged from Dartmoor Prison, 19th April, 1875, 27 years of age, 5 feet inches high, dark brown hair, fresh complexion, grey eyes, birth mark on rignt cheek, left leg shorter than right, scar on right eyebrow, left little finger, left side, left buttock, left thigb, and has a swelling under right ear. And THOMAS MADDIN, alias LYNCH ( under super- vision), Reg. No. L 2244, 26 years of age, 5 feet 7f inehes high, brown hair, fresh complexion, ' D' partly defaced on left side, and scar under left armpit; was convicted at Wake- field Sessions on 6th April, 1874, and sentenced to 18 months imprisonment and 3 years police supervision ; was discharged from Wakefield Gaol on 5th October, 1875. JOHN WALSH ( uuder supervision) Reg. No. W. 2146, • 22 years of age, 5 feet 4| inches high, black bair, grey eyes, sallow complexion, marked with a sear on left cheek bone, and star on back of right hand ; was convicted at Hull Sessions 9th April, 1873, aud sentenced to four months' im- prisonment and four years police supervision ; was discharged from Hull Gaol 9th August, 1873. No. 5820, who is subject to police supervision for 3 years, aud has failed to report himselt at Middlesborough. He was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment at Northallerton Sessions, on the 5th of January, 1875 : he is 62 years of age, 5 feet 8J inches high, sallow complexion, blue eyes, grey hair, and scar left side of neck. Convicted of larceny at Birmingham, on the 13th January, 1875, and sentenced to 12 months and 2 years supervision. JOHN BROOKS, alias, BARRINGTON, about 36 years of age, about 5 feet 4- f inches high, grey eyes, brown hair, sallow complexion, and scars left side. Convicted of house- breaking at Northallerton, on the 30th June, 1874, and sentenced to 18 months and 3 years supervision. JOHN DAVIES, alias WILLIAM RATCLIFFE, about 44 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, grey eyes, brown hair, fresh complexion, nose been broken, soar right cheek, and each eyebrow. Convicted of larceny at Preston, on the 7th January, 1874, and sentenced to 2 years and 7 years supervision. SARAH GERRARD, about 44 years of age, 5 feet 2| ins. high, brown eyes, grey hair, sallow complexion, aud scar near left eye. Convicted of larceny at Preston, on the 30th June, 1875, and sentenced to 6 months and 3 years supervision HENRY O'NEILL, alias EDWARD HENRY, about 44 years of age, 5 feet 8J inches high, dark brown hair and eyes, fresh complexion, right side par alyzed, and end of third right finger enlarged. Convicted of larceny from the person at Salfoid, on the 26th October, 1874, and sentenced to 9 months and 3 years supeivision. JOHN THOMPSON, alias JOSIAH MATHER, about 22 years of age, 5 feet inches high, hazel eyes, brown hair, fresh complexion, mole left of chin, back of neck, and left cheek, and anchor on left arm. Convicted of larceny simple on 4th July, 1872, at Manchester, and sentenced to 9 months and 7 years supervision. HANNAH ROBINSON, about 52 years of age, 5 feet 3 inches high, dark brown hair and eyes, sallow complexion, cut across nose, raised mole upper lip, and bum left collar- bone. Convicted of larceny at Lancaster, on the 4th of January, 1875, and sentenced to 12 months and 3 years supervision. McKEOWN, alias McKENNA, who, on the 22nd Nov., 1871, was sentenced at Preston Ses- sions to 12 months imprisonment aud 7 years police supervi- sion for felony, and who failed to report himself to the police at Bolton on the lst instant: he is 19 years of age, about 5 feet 1 or 2 inches high, brown hair, cut on secoud° fiuger of right band, one over left eyebrow, and left hand deformed.
