Absconded from Prance, 13th of April last, charged with Wwidering her child : MARIE ANATOLE MAZIER, a widow, maiden name BESNEHARD, 30 years of age, about 5 feet high, dark hair, grey eyes, small mouth, and large flat forehead. Supposed in service in the Isla" d of Jersey, probably at Gorey. Information to be given to Superinten- dent Williamson, Detective Department, Great Scotland Yard, S. W.— Metropolitan Police, June 11. Borough June 11. Police Office, Macclesfield, Cheshire.— Bow- street, FORGERY. Dascription of CHARLES WILLIAM LOVATT, silk manufacturer, who absconded from Leek, about the 20th ult., • charged with forging a Bill, to the amount of ,£ 15 : he is about 28 years of age, 6 feet 1 inch high, pale complexion, daik brown hair and whiskers, meeting under the chin, broad shoulders, aud walks rather slovenly, and with his head forward ; dressed in dark clothes ; he has been in America. Information to be given to Superintendent Williams, Leek, Staffordshire, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— — Bow- street, June 14. Charged on a warrant with f iirgery : JABEZ STEAD MUSGRAVE, 50 or 55 years of age, nearly 6 feet high slender build, carries himself erect, light complexion, sharp features, light hair, bushy at sides, and inclined to curl, light moustache, whiskers, and beard, slightly pockmarked, bald, and has a deep indentation on top of head ; left Manchester by the 9T0p. m, train for Liverpool, on the 3rd instant. 1 n formation to be given to Chief Constable Palin, Town Hall, Manchester.— Bow- street, June 9. Description of GEORGE GRAHAM, charged on a warrant with having on the 17th November, 1874, feloniously forged a certain acceptance of a certain Bill of Exchange for the payment of .£ 175 10s. : he is from 30 to 35 years of age, 5 feet 5 to 6 inches high, dark brown | hair, inclined to curl, dark brown whiskers all round his face, no moustache, hazel eyes, has a peculiarity [ about his eyes as if an operation had been performed upon him for squinting, fresh complexion, and ordinary nose and mouth; generally dresses in black frock coat, coloured trousers, and high black hat, and had a slovenly appearance; is a native of Felling, county of Durham, and up to last December was a ship- broker in New- castle. Information to be given to the Chief Constable, Detective Department, Newcastle- on- Tyne. — Bow- street, June 7. HORSE AND CATTLE STEALING. Stolen from a field on the Glynch Farm, in the parish of Redmarley d'Abitot, on the night of the 3rd instant : four yearling wether Sheep, mottle faced, not shorn or marked; also a Welsh ewe SheeD and Lamb, with long tails, in the wool, and not marked ; the property of Mr. Thomas Brewer. Information to be given to Superintendent Checketts, Upton- on- Severn, Worcestershire.— Bow- street, June 16. Description of JOHN BISHOP, charged on a warrant with horse- stealing as a bailee : he is 21 years of age, 5 feet 4 or 5 inches higb, fresh complexion, round face, little light whiskers, brown hair, walks as if he was tender on his feet; dressed in a light suit, trousers fitting tight to his legs, has the appearance of a groom or horse- dealer. Information to be given to Superintendent Davies, City Police, Hereford. — Bow- street, June 14. Description of WILLIAM DARK, charged on a warrant with stealing a cow ( recovered) : he is 23 years of age, 5 feet 3 or 4 inches high, dark brown hair, hazel eyes, little dark whiskers, shaved under chin, rather high cheek bones, and shows front teeth a little ; dressed in dark brown monkey jacket, soft felt wideawake hat, and light mixture trousers, has worked on railways as a labourer, and in coal mines in Wales and the north of England. Information to be given to Superintendent Goldsmith, Taunton — Bow street, June 14. Stolen on the night of the 10th instant, from a field at Cwmisa, Capel Curig, in the parish of Llanrhochwyn : a dark bay Mare, 7 years old, about 14 hands high, with white hind fetlocks, little white spot and a scar on one of the fore feet, the property of Owen Williams. A man of the following description was seen at 4 a, m. at Llanberis, riding a horse of a similar description, about 5 feet 8 inches high, and sandy whiskers ; dressed in dirty slop, moleskin trousers, and a billycock hat, tied down with a string. Information to be given to Superintendent Evans, Conway, or to the Chief Constable, Carnarvon.— Bow- street, June 14. Stolen from Billinsley, near Bridgnorth, the property of Mr. John Chatham, farmer, between 8 p. m. on the 11th and 6 a. m. on he 12th instant : a dark brown hack Mare, 3 years old, 14 hands 2 inches high, small white star on forehead, tail cut, broken to saddle aud harness. Information to be | given to Superintendent Ivins, Bridgnorth, Salop.— Bow- ' street, June 14. Description of THOMAS alias JAMES GEARY, a labourer, who has absconded from Long Sutton, charged with stealing a Horse, Cart, and set of Harness ( since recovered); the property of Henry Kemp : about 30 years of age, 6 feet high, black curly hair, and in- kneed ; has relations residing at Mapperdurniell, near Basingstoke. Information to be given to Superintendent Stephenson, Hants Constabulary, Aldershort, who holds a warrant for his appi ehension.— Bow street, June 14. Stolen on the night of the 9th instant, from a stable at Whiteknights, near Reading : a light bay Mare, aged, about 15 hands lJj inch high, very handsome, has a swelling on the outside of fetlock joint of near foreleg, caused by a sprain, a spot of hair about the size of a 2s. piece rubbed off the off side of back, blaek mane and tail. £ 20 reward, half the reward will be paid to any person giving such information as will lead to the recovery of the Mare, or the whole of it on recovery of the Mare and conviction of the offender or offenders. Stolen during the night of the 6th instant, from a field at Netteswell Bury, the property of John Frederic Coleman, farmer: a black cart Mare, 10 years old, about 15 hands 3 inches high, white star on forehead, and one small white saddle mark. Information to be given to Superintendent Simpson, Police Station, Epping, Essex.— Bow- street, June 9. Found straying at Oldbury, on the night of the 31st ultimo, supposed to have been stolen : a red Heifer, in calf. Information to be given to Superintendent Kemp, Halesowen, Worcestershire.— how- street, June 9. Stolen from a field adjoining tlie Market Place, Denton, between 11 p. m. 10th and 6 a. m. on the 11th instant: a black Pony, about 12 hands high, with saddle marks, grey on the face, aged. Information to be given to Inspector Keir, Police Station, or to Mr. W. II. Knowles, printer, Market Place, Denton.— Bow- street, June 14. ROBBERY AND LARCENY FROM THE PERSON. Stolen from the person of Samuel Collier, while attending Bromyard Races on the 20th ultimo: a silver Watch, with ' S. Collier' marked on one of the cases. Information to be given to Superintendent Harwood, Bromyard, Herefordshire. — Bow- street, June 11. Stolen from the person of Thomas Poulton, on the 7th instant: a silver Geneva Watch, enamelled face, black figures and small seconds hand, also a gold Albert Chain, snake pattern, with Locket attached. By a man named EDWARD PHILLIPS, a shoemaker, 30 years of age, 5 feet 4 inches high, sandy hair, whiskers, beard and moustache; rather well dressed in dark clothes, round hard hat, ela= tic- side boots, the trousers bulging at the knees. Has worked in Birmingham, Walsall, Merthyr Tydfil, and other places in South Wales. Information to be given to the Chipf Constable, Newtown, Montgomeryshire.— Bow- street, June 9. Description of a man suspected of stealing a light bay Mare at Whitenights, near Reading, on the 9th instant : about 23 years of fage, 5 feet 9 inches bigh, very little whiskers, and a cast in left eye; dressed in dark mixture coat with large seams and small pockets on hips, dark mixture or dirty cord trousers, fitting tight to the legs, black low- crowned hard felt hat, lace- up boots, with bright spurs. In- formation to be given to the Superintendent of Police, Berks' Constabulary, Reading.— Bow- street, June 14. Description of NOAII SMITH, alias BONEY, charged with stealing two Pigs, the property of Jane Matthews, at Oldbury, on the 21st ultimo : 2- 1 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, fair complexion, light brown hair, very little whiskers, upper lip enlarged front a blow, and walks with one leg bent inwards. He is supposed to be travelling as a labourer, with showmen, and may probably be found engaged at swinging boats or merry- go- rounds. Information to be given to Superintendent Kemp, Worcestershire Constabulary, Hales- owen, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— Bow- street, June 14, LARCENY AND EMBEZZLEMENT. A warrant is issued for the apprehension of MOSES PICKWICK BATH, who is charged with stealing a dead Pig ( recovered), at Atworth, on the night of the 10th inst.: about 46 years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, rather stout build, fall face, dark complexion, and blinks very much when speaking; dressed in an old dirty white slop, dark trousers, and black bowler hat. Information to be given to Superin- tendent White, Trowbridge, Wilts.— Bow- street, June 16. Charged with embezzlement and fraud to considerable amount- ALBERT BAXTER, of Dundee, a . stockbroker, about 36 years of age, about 5 feet 9 inches high, rather red hair, whiskers, and moustache, talks with broad Scotch accent, skin ( especially of hands) of dry and cracked appear- ance ; dresses smartly. He left Dundee on the 29th ultimo, was in London at the ' Castle and Falcon' hotel, Aldersgate- street, on the lst June, left there same day, and has not since been traced. Is believed to have a considerable sum of money with him. Information to be given to the Procurator- Fiscal, Court House Buildings, Dundee, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— Bow- street, June 16. Description of JOSEPH WILSON, late of Cannock, charged with having fraudulently converted to his own use a Clock ( recovered), of which he was bailee; he is about 35 years old, 5 feet 7 inches high, fair complexion, light hair, sandy whiskers and moustache ; shabbily dressed in old blue pilot coat. He is a travelling clock cleaner, aud has with him a photograph apparatus, which he pushes along on a three- wheel perambulator, and carries a rolled- up satchel with a strap over his shoulder. Information to be given to Super- intendent Hill, Brownhills, near Walsall, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— Bow- street, June 16. Absconded on the 12th instant, stealing £ 9 from hia employer : a youth, 17 years of age, 5 feet 4 inches higb, dark complexion, hair and eyes, and bracelet on left wrist; dressed iu black walking coat and trousers, and glengarry cap.— Metropolitan Police, E Division, June 16. Description of ROBERT WEARE, an agent for the London aud Manchester Industrial Assurance Company ( Limited), charged on a warrant with stealing ( as a bailee) certain Monies, at the parish of Lanchester, Durham : he is about 43 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches high, stout make, very dark brown hair, black whiskers, sallow complexion, hazel eyes, long face, and speaks with a Scotch accent; he was born at sea, and was formerly a schoolmaster. He is supposed to be fraudulently collecting money in the neghbourhocd of Sunderland and North and South Shields. Information to be given to Superintendent Oliver, Constabulary Office, Consett, Durham.— Bow- street, June 16. BURGLARY AND HOUSE BREAKING. Between 12 p m. and 6 a. m. on the 6th instant, the dwelling- house and shop of Mr. John Watkins, of the parish of Fownhope, was broken and entered, and stolen therein : a The lad described in the Police Gazette of the 28th last, for stealing a Gelding, Cart, and Harness, at Tunbridge Wel] s, has been committed for trial, and the property recovered : he gives the name of ARTHUR EDWARD BURROW, of Bethnal Green, London. Information to be given to the Head Ccnstable, Tanbridge Wells, Kent.— Bow- street, June 14. Stolen on the 5th instant, from a field in Boughey- lane, Macclesfield: a mottled grey Horse, aged, 15 hands high, with cropped tail, the property of Frederick Upton, Stanley- street, Information to be given to Chief Constable Sheasby, Absconded from Chirk on the 3rd instant, charged on a warrant with stealing a Watch : THOMAS PEARCE, alias TOM THE TUBTHUMPER, supposed a native of Willen- hall, Staffordshire, and a collier ; about 18 years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, and rather deaf ; dressed in black cloth coat, moleskin trousers, blaek soft billycock hat, and _ !. The Watch is recovered, having been pledged at Chester, and the ticket sold to a pawnbroker at Pendiebury. near Bolton, Lancashire. Pearce is known at Portobello, Pendlebury, and Pendleton. Information to be given to Inspector Humphreys, Llangollan, Denbighshire, N. W. — Bow- street, June 16. Absconded from his bail at Thrapston, charged with stealing a sheet of Tin : JAMES WELSH, a tramping tinker, 46 years of age, 5 feet 6jj inches high, dark complexion, and of dirty appearance, dark hair, blue eyes ; dressed in a dark dirty tweed coat and vest, dark cord trousers, cloth cap, with peak of same material, and lappets ; he is accompanied by two little boys and a woman, who hawks and sells paper ornaments for fire grates; has in his possession a pedlar's certificate, granted at Huntingdon, and indorsed for Northamptonshire, I 204, on the county stamp. Information to be given to Inspector Kitchen, Thrapston, Northamptonshire, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— Bow- street, June 16, POLICE GAZETTE. June 16 Description of WILLIAM TRIVETT, a clerk and lace salesman, - who absconded on the 24th ultimo, charged with embezzlement: he is from 36 to 40 years of age, about 5 feet 10 inches high, brown hair, sandy beard and moustache, shaves a little under the lip, thin features, slender build, bald place on top, of head, size of a half- crown; generally dresses in dark blue frock coat, Scotch plaid trousers, and high hat ; frequents betting places. .£ 20 reward will be paid for his apprehension. Information to be given to Chief Constable Poyntz, Borough Police Station, Nottingham, who holds a • warrant for his apprehension.— Bow- sireet, June 16. Absconded from this town on the morning of the 9th inst., charged on a warrant with embezzlement: FRED. STEVENS, a lawyer's clerk, an Englishman, about 34 years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, fresh complexion, brown hair, bald on front pait of head, and has a dimple in centre of chin ; dresses respectably, has resided here about twelve months, and has been a clerk with Mr. J. P. May, Solicitor, 2, Princes Street., Spital Square, London, and lived at 31, Einchley Boad, Lorrimore Square, London, has a sum of money in his possession, and may emigrate. Information to be given to Deputy Chief Constable Thomas, Merthyr.— Bow- street, June 14. Stolen from a dwelling- house in Burton- on- Trent, on the 7th instant: an old- fashioned silver verge Watch, No. 1234, dial cracked, and steel Chain attached ; and £ 2 in Gold. By a man, about 20 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, dark brown hair and eyes, dark complexion, blotches on his cheeks ; dressed in dark cap, white slop, and new cotton cord trousers ; he travels in the country in the summer time with shows, & c. Information to be given to Superintendent Bowen, Burton- on- Trent, Staffordshire.— Bow- street, June 14. Stolen from a stable at Old Marton, near Oswestry, between 7 and 10 p. m. on the 6th instant, the property of Edward Jones : a blue pilot cloth monkey Jacket, lined with plaid, double- breasted, one button off right side ; a double- breasted black cloth Vest, speckled with white, and only three buttons on each side ; a blue serge Slop, one brass button on top ; a blue and white bundle Handkerchief; and a pair of old watertight Boots, recently soled and heeled with gutta- percha, plates on heels, heavily nailed, one nail out of each toe. By a man who has been working with thrashing machines, and has been a soldier : 30 years of age, about 5 feet 9 inches high, stout build, broad face, small sandy whiskers, and slight impediment in speech ; dressed in an old black billycock hat, rather long yellow- brown coat, old dirty cord trousers, patched on knees, and an old pair of boots, worn on one side. He was advertised in the Police Gazette of the 3rd ultimo, charged with similar offences. Information to be given to Superintendent Gough, Oswestry, Salop.— Bow- street, June 14. Absconded from Walsall on the 8th instant, charged with stealing a black leather hand Bag, containing £ 37 9s. all in Silver : FREDERIC DREW, 39 years of age, 5 feet ins. high, fair complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, scar on back of right hand and inside of left arm, and end of nose very red ; was discharged from Portland Prison on the 28th July, 1870, and is well known at Birmingham and Worcester ; and J AS. ASHTON, alias DREW, 19 years of age, 5 feet 3| inches high, stout, light hair and complexion, slightly bow- legged, small moustache, and a full pleasing countenance. The stolen bag has ' Britannia Mill Company, Birmingham,' engraved on the brass lock. The portrait of Frederic Drew will be sup- plied if required. Information to be given to Chief Super- intendent Cater, Walsall, Staffordshire, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— Bow- street, June 14. DAVID GEORGE CAPLING, advertised in the Police Gazette of the 21st ultimo, has been committed to Maidstone Quarter Sessions, for trial, on four charges of felony : he is supposed to have been convicted of felony some years ago, and sentenced to 5 years detention in a reformatory. Information to be given to Head Constable Etnbery, Tunbridge Wells, or ' to Superintendent Dance, Tunbridge, Kent.— Bow- street, June 14. Charged on a warrant with embezzlement : HARRY R. SCOTT DE MORST, 22 or 23 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, brown hair, fair complexion, good looking, slight whiskers and moustache ; is an amateur athlete, well known at the South London Harriers Athletic Club, and at the West Kent Club, Forest Hill. Information to be given to Inspector Bailey, City of London Police, Detective Depart- ment, 26, Old Jewry, E. C .- Bow- street, June 11. Stolen in the borough of Chesterfield, on the 8th instant: a silver lever Watch, No. 29952. Supposed by a man, about 27 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches high, light complexion, no whiskers, light moustache, light sandy hair, and is a stone- mason ; dressed in a shabby grey coat, woollen cord trousers, and black billycock hat. Said to be a native of Birmingham. Information to be given to Head Constable Home, Chester- field, Derbvshire.— Bow- street, June 11. Stolen from the dwelling- house of William James, Saint Clears, Carmarthenshire, about 4 a. m. on the 2nd instant: about £ 3 in Silver and Copper Money, and about 3 pounds of Tobacco. By ISAAC PASCOE, blacksmith, a native of Lithney Helston, Cornwall, a lodger, 18 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, hazel eyes, and light brown hair ; dressed in dark coat, dark cap, with straight peak, blue Militia trousers, • calico shirt, socks, and boots, all marked ' R. P. M. W. 316'; is a member of the Pembrokeshire Militia. Has worked at his trade in Glamorganshire or Monmouthshire, where he is supposed to have gone. Information to be given to Sergeant Saer, Police Station, St. Clears, Carmarthenshire, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— Bow- street, June 11. Description of FREDERIC PETFORD, charged with embezzling various sums of money belongiug to the propri- tors of the Warwick and Birmingham Canal, his masters : he is 29 years of age, 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, pale complexion, dark brown hair, whiskers, and moustache, and square shoulders; respectably dressed, and has a gentlemanly appearance. A reward of £ 20 will be paid by the above- mentioned company to any person giving such information as will lead to his apprehension. Information to be given to Superintendent Glossop, Birmingham, who holds the warrant for his apprehension.— Bow- street, June II. Tomlinson, Police Station, Sedgley, Staffordshire, who holds a warrant for his apprehension.— Bow- street, June 14. FRAUDS AMViGGRAVATED MISDEMEANOURS. Description of a man who is travelling the country, representing himself to be an agent of the Great Western Railway Company, and obtaining Money by false pretences from various persons, by informing them that parcels are lying in the warehouses at Paddington, sent by their friends, and kept their through the addresses being lost, and that such parcels will be forwarded upon the payment of the carriage hire to him, he obtained 7s. from a Mrs. Smith, at Windsor, on the 11th instant, on this pretence: about 30 years of age, about 5 feet 6 inches high, moderately stout, dark complexion and whiskers ; dressed in rough pilot coat, dark waistcoat and trousers. Information to be given to Mr. Mason, Special Police, Gt. Western Railway, Paddington. - Bow- street, June 16. Absconded from their bail, charged with fraud and con spiracy : WILLIAM HENRY WALTER, 30 years of age, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, sallow complexion, hazel eyes, black hair and moustache ( slight), long thin face. Also EDWARD MURRAY, 30 years of age, 5 feet 5^ inches high, fair com- plexion, curly hair, light moustache and whiskers, and brown eyes. Both dressed respectably, and are known to betting men. Charged on a warrant with fraud: SAMUEL GENSLER, late of No. 7, Coleman- street, Arlington- square, Islington, 35 to 40 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, black curly hair mixed with grey, black moustacne turning grey, brown eyes, wild look, long crooked nose, bow- legge^, and has a stoop ; dresses in dark clothes and black hat, and is rather slovenly in his dress ; has an excitable manner when talking, speaks with a foreign and Jewish accent, a jeweller's assistant, and late manager to Mr. Isaac Phillips, No. 9, Colbrooke- row, Islington. Information to be given to Inspector Bailey, City of London Police, Detective Depart- ment, 26, Old Jewry, E. C.— Bow- street, June 11. FELONIES. ( Not otherwise described). Description of ISAAC HICKMAN who absconded, on the 20th inst., from Lower Gonial, Sedgley, charged with assaulting with intent, & c., a girl, 4 years old: he is 24 years of age, 5 feet 3 or 4 inches high, dark brown hair, dark com- plexion, and stout build ; dressed in a dark blue cloth coat, light grey trousers, dark cloth cap, and generally wears clogs. On the morning of the 9th instant, the Body of a Male child ( supposed about 10 days' old) was found dead in a pond at Compton Pauncefoot: round the body was wrapped two common calico patched Napkins, a white cashmere Muffler, with the hem picked out; in the mouth of the child was a piece of white dimity made up into what is called a sugar teat, and tied round its neck was a piece of string with a stone about 6 or 7 lbs. weight. Description of a tramping shoemaker who gave the name of JOHN JONES, who is committed for trial at Lincoln Sessions on the 2nd July next, on a charge of larceny : he i3 33 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, black hair and whiskers, sallow complexion, and hazel eyes ; dressed in a brown cloth short jacket and vest, grey mixture trousers, and plaid cloth cap ; his right foot is very much deformed, and walks on the toes of that foot, and his boot heel is packed up inside with cork. He says he was born at Leek, Staffordshire, and worked for Mr. Grantham, shoemaker, Silver- street, Hull, six years ago, also Mr. Brown, shoemaker, High- street, Birmingham, for eighteen months, and left him a week or two before last Christmas, when he went into the Con- sumption Hospital, Birmingham, where he remained six months. Escaped from the Lincolnshire County Asylum, on the 5th instant: CHRISTOPHER DUFFIELD, a native of Ruskington, near Sleaford ; 23 years of age, 5 feet 5 ins. high fresh complexion, bold grey eyes, slender build, light hair, no' whiskers, vacant look, sharp spoken, and very nimble and witty ; dressed in grey jacket, straw hat, blucher boots, all * marked ' Lincolnshire County Asylum.' This man was removed from Fisherton Asylum, near Salisbury, on the 11th June 18- POLICE GAZETTE. 3 March last, and has served ia the 44th Regiment of Foot, and was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in Taunton Gaol. Convicted of larceny at Manchester on the 27th August, 1868, and sentenced to 7 years penal servitude ; discharged on the 8th June, 1874. WILLIAM DYER, about 24 years of age, 5 feet I inch high, hazel eyes, dark brown hair, fresh complexion, scar on bridge of nose aud outside of left arm, and small mole outside right arm. Convicted of arson at Oxford on the 12th July, 1870, and sentenced to 5 years penal servitude ; discharged on the 17th June, 1874. MARY ANN KENYON, about 36 years of age, 5 feet high, grey eyes, brown hair, fresh complexion, and ' T. E.' on right arm. Convicted of robbery w- ith violence at Manchester on the 30th July, 1869,. and sentenced to 7 years penal servi- tude ; discharged on the 16th June, 1874. JAMES LATHAM, about 36 years of age, 5 feet 5| ins. high, grey eyes, brown hair, fresh'complexion, ' D,' on left side, scar on forehead, ship and cross flags on left arm, anchor ou right forearm. Convicted of stealing money at Louth on the 20th October, 1869, sentenced to 7 years penal servitude ; and • discharged 24th May, 1875. ROCO METELLI, about 28 years of age, 5 feet 5J inches high, hazel eyes, dark brown hair, sallow complexion, scar over right eyebrow, face much blotched, both little toes over- lap the next, and mole on left arm. Convicted of uttering paper upon which was printed a Foreign promissory note, at London, on the 21st November, 1870, and sentenced to. 5 yaars penal servitude ; was discharged 19th April, 1875. No. S. 4306, 26 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches high, was sentenced to 14 months imprisonment for housebreaking on the 16th October, 1873, and 6 years' police supervision; he left Hull on the 18th May, 1875, stating he was going to Normanton, at which place he has failed to report himself. BRIDGET NIGHLAND, Reg. No. 1819, also left Hull, stating she was going to Scarborough on the 27th ultimo, at which place she has failed to report herself, 36 years of age, 5 feet 1 inch high, quite blind, has cut marks on left temple ; was convicted at Salford on the 26th October, 1868, of larceny from the person after previous conviction, and sentenced to 7 years penal servitude, and was discharged on the lst Maroh 1875. Also GEORGE HENRY TAYLOR, alias TRAVIS, left Hull on the 26th April last, wanted for larceny, 24 years of age, 5 feet inches higb, and lost left arm ; was sentenced to 18 calendar months hard labour on the 6th January, 1870 and 7 years police supervision.
