DESCRIPTION of David Pullar, spirit merchants' traveller, who absconded on the 19th of October last, charged, under a Warrant, with embezzling various sums of money belonging to his'employers, Messrs. Fisher and Stewart, spirit merchants, Whitehaven : — He is about 27 years of age, 5 feet 5 inches in height: a native of Perth ; ruddy complexion, some- what flushed, as from much exposure to the weather or from drinking freely, but withal good- b oliing; very smart, and seems always to be pressed for time when walking; small whiskers, shaved on chin, reddish moustache, and stout figure: may be dressed in a brown or gray tweed suit and black felt hat. Police officers are requested to make diligent search and inquiry for the said David Pullar, and, if found, to apprehend, detain, and communicate with Robert Bertram, Superintendent of Constabulary, White- haven. who holds the Warrant for his apprehension, and by whom the above reward will be paid. WHEREAS, on the night of the 23rd ultimo, between the hours of 9 and 10 o'clock, a shot was fired into the dwelling of Patrick Flannery, in the town of Scarriff, parish of Tomgraney, and county of Clare, which inflicted a slight wound on Mrs. Anne Flannery: I hereby offer a reward of £ 50 to any person who shall, within six months from the date hereof, give such information as shall lead to the arrest of the person who committed the outrage above referred to.
